this target has saved me on more than one occasion! the last time i was in napa, i stayed in at an airbnb, about 7 minutes away from this target by car. this target is huge, with the usual household & personal care products as well as large grocery section. i wanted to get a nail clipper, some water, bananas, and yogurt, and this location had them all, in organized rows. from a price point, i felt they were slightly cheaper than the target closest to home. it was never very crowded and i never had more than 1-2 customers ahead of me at the checkout line. two entrances leading into this store from the parking lot made it very convenient, and there was always plentiful parking in the bel aire plaza shopping center. read more

Employees are great but the carts suck! They need to invest

I am still getting over what happened to me. I am a school teacher and I needed some clothespins for a project for my 47 students for the Xmas holidays. As many other teachers and crafters are doing similar projects, clothespins were getting harder and harder to find. I decided to purchase them online and pick them up at the store. The Napa North Target was the only local Target that had enough, so I paid for 8 packs of 50 clothespins. Later that day, I arrived at Target to pick up my purchase. After waiting in line in the wrong place (perhaps a sign that order pick up has moved would help?), I was given a sack with 6 packs of clothespins. I pointed out the mistake and was told to wait while the situation was checked. Yes, there are only six packs. I was then told to "go to customer service and they will help you." So I returned to customer service (where the giant Order PickUp sign is and where I had waited earlier for my stuff). I explained the situation to the cashier who then made me wait while she went to look for the clothespins, "in case they fell on the ground." After quite a bit of time, she returned and refunded me the 8 packs I had bought, and charged me for the 6 they had. I then had to go to the other Target in Napa to purchase 2 more packs before the 30 minute drive home. I am in shock that the Napa North Target would have completed the order, charged me, and then messaged me that my order was ready when it wasn't. I feel that it is deceptive business practice and I will not be returning to any Target after this. I have been continually disappointed with Target as a corporation, but trying to steal from me is the last straw. read more

Super small. They don't sell shoes but was able to find most of the staples while in town for business.

Sad. Sad. Sad. What has happened to one of my favorite stores?! Some products are almost always' empty'. Phone kiosk is almost always 'No one' to help. Today the manager kicks me out cuz she didn't want to her my complaints. She also wasn't wearing her Name tag. If my iPhone turns out to be defective No One been there consistently to return it. So screw the Customer?! No wonder there sales have been down and also their Stock. People like the Manager at North Target Napa calif 94558 read more

After stopping at a nearby Pete's, we made a pit stop into this Target to stock up on waters and other snack items for our hotel room during our 5-day Napa vacation. This layout is much different than the Targets in San Diego but aside from that, the shell and it's contents where everything you'd expect from Target. Despite the parking lot swarming with cars, I was shocked there was hardly anyone in here. They must've been elsewhere...because the store was nearly empty but very tidy. After we selected our items and headed to the front of the store to check out, we discovered most of the cashiers were standing in front of their registers ready to take the next guest in line. This doesn't happen quite often to me at Target but it was nice to not have to wait. Our cashier was very sweet and got us out of their quickly...she was really confused about me bringing/using my own bag though, which was strange. So strange, she took the bag that I laid on the conveyer belt and laid it onto of my items after I paid and let me pack my own items. Is being green in Napa that much of an anomaly? P.S. I did not care for this parking lot...super tight spaces and busy as heck! read more

Bought a manual breast pump from north target Napa.. opened up box to find it was USED! Had milk all over the parts/pump. DISGUSTING! Someone isn't doing there job in returns correctly read more

Was in the neighborhood and needed a few items so decided to stop in. Store was clean, found everything I needed and went to check out. Only a few registers open and each had a long line. No problem, I'll just go to the self checkout. Looked around could not find any. After waiting in line for several minutes a new register opened and I luckily moved over quickly. I asked the cashier where the self checkout registers were. She answered "oh, we don't have them yet at this store". C'mon Target, Safeway has them, Wal-Mart has them, its a brave new world out and its time you joined! read more

I alway enjoyed this target but recently my experience here has been so terrible. On two different occasions (one this week, one last week) I was racially profiled by the same lady twice. As black women I think it unfair to spend my money and time at a place I love to be accused of stealing twice. To be picked on and embarrassed twice in front of people is so humiliating. I will not be giving this location anymore of my time/ money. read more

This is my first Yelp review in almost 10 years. My wife and I were so incredibly happy with the service by one of your employees. Her name is Magin. She was extremely helpful and so kind. She was in the sheet aisle and it looked like she was extremely busy because the cart next to her was full of products and I could hear her scan the numerous bar codes. She looked calm and in control though. I couldn't help but notice that a nice older lady asked Megin for something and Megin was eager to be of assistance. My wife and I found a wonderful quilt for our bed and saw matching flannel sheets but unfortunately, all the sheets for a queen size bed were sold out. My wife and I almost gave up and almost decided to buy some other sheets elsewhere but Megin was there, so I asked her if she could check the stock in the back. She was happy to help and within minutes she came back eagerly and happy with our desired sheets and in the desired size. She had a great spirit about it as well. She is a true asset to your company and deserves recognition and a raise. She is why we will continue to go to this Target. Our country is in dire need for workers like Megin and I truly hope her awesomeness doesn't get over looked and without recognition. read more

There's an older woman that works at this Target and in good or bad times she gives 100% to helping myself and other cus around me. I've come to rely on her when I need help with self checkout or anything I need. All of the employees are knowledgeable about the Target Circle App and they always help me to get price points, coupons and my points. Great hardworking crew! read more

It's a Target. Which in the mid to late 80s was pretty cool, but now is suffering from an identity crisis. Grocery items, really? This Target is pretty standard. It's clean and well stocked. It's just (like all of them nowadays), not very exciting and less affordable. read more

I just cannot get used to the lay out of this Target! I seem to walk around in circles looking for items. This N. Napa location has the same departments as the S. Napa location, but they seem to be scaled down. I think it's because of the added grocery section, which is odd, since there are 2 other grocery stores in the same center, along with a Vallerga's a mere 3 blocks west, and a Safeway & Lucky Store about 5 blocks East... But it's Target, and it's like crack, so I'll still shop here when I'm on this end of town. read more

a target is a target.. NO IT'S NOT!!!! this target is the bomb! why? their customer service is stellar!! cashiers are nice, guest services are awesome, managers actually listen and try to solve your concerns and problems! not much other targets have such a great staff!!! it's really insane! or maybe it's just my luck? read more

Here's the deal, this Target is extremely convenient, being so close to my house and all, but there has never been anything to write home about when it comes to customer service. In all honesty, the customer service is lacking at most Target stores I've visited, that is until I met Aviana, honestly when I found out she was barely 18, I was thrown off guard, she is not only amazing, she's management material, she is the sweetest person, and always remembers my family and I (my little 21 month old is her best friend now)I am the head customer service manager at the most visited winery in Napa Valley, a nd I would hire her in a heartbeat. She deserves better than what you guys are giving her, obviously it's not much, I just found out she's leaving and going to In-Shape fitness. And while I'm happy she's moving forward, and getting a raise to boot, if she were my employee, I would have given her a raise, a better position, and made sure I kept her as an employee. I'm not sure who manages this store. But I'm pretty sure with the corporate tax cuts, Target could easily keep her on staff, and could do it at a much better rate. But it seems the trickle down effect isn't working, as I suspected. Instead of keeping an absolutely amazing employee, you guys have a whole slew of mediocre employees, I'm just heartbroken she is leaving. And I would have done so much more to keep her. Please, if anything, you should reach out to her, and offer her a position of growth. An assistant manager position, something... Don't let her go... you're losing an absolute gem!! Don't make this mistake. She really is amazing. read more

Ever since the remodel this store has gone down hill. I actually dread coming here (which is okay for my bank account...). Cleaning products are spread out in like 6 locations and the clothing section is crammed to a brim and you can't navigate through it. Multiple times I've been here some of the shelves are totally empty. Moving forward I'll go elsewhere or go across town to the other target. read more

I don't think Target really needs a review because its name speaks for itself, but I love how clean it is and I love the quality. You truly get what you pay for. I always have to make a strict list and budget whenever I go here or I will spend too much. This Target is great! It's a little small because it actually is missing one or two departments which makes it a little inconvient, but its close to where I am so I'll always go here. read more

I am a big fan of Target. However this store (in North Napa, by the Peet's coffee, whole foods, etc.) does not have any shoes for sale. Super lame, I wasted a trip here. However, if you were not looking for shoes, I'm pretty sure they carry everything else. Parking here is lame, difficult to get into the lot in general and people seem to drive extra crazy. read more

This is the "new" Target in Napa and they tend to have less stock than the old one on the other side of town. I believe their footprint is smaller which would be why and I've been told they're used in a warehousing fashion a times in the back. Good stuff, go here all the time for whatever. Mostly games and whenever I have a coupon for something. read more

I bought a $400.00 Samsung TV here, 3 months ago. It worked for 6 weeks. The repair guy has to replace the screen as the LEDs don't work. I have been waiting for it to be repaired for 7 weeks. Check your expiration dates. Walking around the food section I found 3 items way past expired still on the shelves. That is unacceptable and disgusting. SERIOUSLY I've heard that from multiple people and I never believed it until a couple of days ago when I saw it myself. I've lived in Napa most of my life and I would not expect that from any stores here. Walk across the plaza and get food items from Whole Foods or Safeway. read more

Can someone please explain to me why the Target carts are not allowed to roam the entire Bel Aire parking lot, only the small area immediately around the store itself? Today I was left in the middle of the main driveway with my cart wheels locked up and immobile. I had three heavy bags, a three-year-old, and a five-year-old to transport the last 100 feet to my car. Other vehicles began to surround me and my kids and my frozen cart. I held onto the three year old while I tried to drag the cart with its unmoving wheels and heavy load to the side. And then I stood there, shaking in fear and frustration, trying to figure out how to manage the last 100 ft to my car. read more

Got Rock Band for 100$ here. Can't beat that. Also ...not as crazy as walmart...The bathroom was actually aight for a Target. I get lost in the toy aisles. Sorry...I'm still a kid...and I wanna go where a kid can be a kid..oh wait..that's another place. read more

This Target is located in a very cute plaza with a Trader Joe's ANDDD a Whole Foods!! If I lived in Napa, I would be at this plaza every week (or more). The store is mapped out in a different way from the usual layout and the exterior makes it look cute. It's hard to explain, it looks homely... countryside-ish. lol. The store is definitely smaller from the inside as well, and doesn't look as bright and the ceilings look shorter, but it makes it feel like you are definitely somewhere like Napa. read more

This store forces their employees to either get 2 people a week to sign up for red card or lose their job. I felt obligated to sign up to help my daughter. My daughter was let go today, she was a seasonal help employee. They gave her no notice or anything. She thought she still had a job when she went in today. It's fine to have seasonal help, but it's not okay to have them think they still have a job. Horrible way to treat employees. I will now be cancelling my card. No need to shop somewhere they treat employees this badly, and especially my child. read more

I needed a flashlight and batteries. Target had them. Really, it's like any other target - I've never really seen much of a difference from one to the next. It's not wal-mart, so that's a plus. Maybe I'm just not enough of a department store connoisseur. read more

Everything in this Target is so nice and newer than most Tagets in the Bay Area. It's so nice shopping there, it wasn't crowded and very clean. I liked this store but on Black Friday I saw something I didn't like the security guard smashed a kids hand and all cause a Latino family and a white family started fight over there spot in the line but worst of all was that the gave the white family a ticket for the tv that was on sale but not to the Latino family and all worker and staff didn't say anything so I left just think this store is another store who treat people on there looks so never going back read more

Never get a phone through Target. I was there for 3 hours, the guy messed up my order over and over and three months later I'm still on the phone to Sprint trying to sort out the very expensive mess he left me in. Sprint could have honored the agreement Target had made and initially said they would but finally said they would not. read more

I love Target! Unfortunately, this location has condescending and disrespectful customer service. Avoid if possible.

Pretty Nice Target, lots of helpful folks and clean interior. The items were stocked up and we found great sale items. This location even boasts a Starbucks inside of it. I also found their pet section much better than the Vallejo one, my dog is now a proud owner of a gingerbread cookie costume for $2.50! Now I will add this store to my Bel-Aire shopping center rotation. read more

Worst target I've ever been to!! We came here to get a swimsuit for my 3 month old to go enjoy the pool... Well the first person we asked if they had any said the fitting room attendant should know.. So we asked her and she said maybe it isn't swim season yet but she doesn't really know.. Next I go looking for swim diapers.. It's the middle of may they should have them... Nope.. And when we asked a sales person they sent us back to ask the fitting room attendant!! If the fitting room attendant knows so much she should be walking the floor.. Totally unhelpful and totally unprofessional... Our checkout was even worse!!! I love target and I'm a frequent shopper but I wouldn't recommend this target to anyone, I'd send them to Walgreens for essentials and Ross for quick clothes!! read more

In Napa I call this "little target" the south napa store is bigger and has more selection, but I love having Little Target close to home. The staff is usually pretty good, major compliments to the electronics team, they're always on-point. read more

New remodeled layout is poor. Cooking pans are spread randomly on three separate isles, and the same for gardening pots and sunscreen. Makes it very inconvenient to shop. Never bought mens clothes here, but saw a t-shirt and shorts I wanted. There was no place in the men's clothing department to try them on. Not even a mirror. Salesperson was also dumbfounded and had no explanation. Came back and told me nearest mirror is by the women's bras. Awkward, not to mention no one tries on bras in the open, so why put a mirror there? Elsewhere in the store things are displayed nicer, but they are harder to find with less stock. read more
