Take this with a grain of salt, since I mainly have a customer service issue with this store. I purchased some trading cards here. When i got home i realized 3 of the 4 packs were open! I called customer service who apologized and simply said we'll look into this and ended the conversation! Why would I want to come back to a store that didn't even care to ask for more details on a product that is being stolen from their store!? Incredibly frustrating, especially when I'm paying 25% more than retail for the convenience of this product being stocked at target. Plus, if I was this disappointed can you imagine how a little kid would feel if they spent their allowance on cards that are already open and shuffled through. read more

If this had a zero star I would choose zero star for this this store is close by where I live today I stopped by and got a few things took forever because the stupid machine wouldn't take my card I had to use cash in the end and the stupid lady told me you should get a new card between Walmart and target they have the worst employees it's not the store and the quality of the goods it's the employees get rid of all of them because they have sour looks on their faces and bad attitudes read more

This location is the closest to my home, however, it's rather small in comparison to the huge Target Superstores (called Greatland). I love going to Target every 3-4 months or so because I can find new things. When I was going about once every 2 weeks, I got bored because the stuff wasn't changing fast enough. The last time I went to Target, I found really nifty little gifts for kids in their $1 section. It's amazing that I can spend at least 2 hours just browsing in every single aisle aimlessly with no target in mind. Generally I have a shopping list of about 5 things but end up leaving with a whole lot more of stuff I really do not need. read more

I only go here for general goods. Otherwise, long lines during mid-day M-F. Where the hell are the cashiers when they can see more and more people lining up to check out?!?!!! Target has a huge shopping and parking lot space but to me, it's a waste to keep this place here - build a Target Greatland - they'll outbeat Walmart anytime! read more

I actually came here a couple times and forgot to give my review until today. Customer service was good. Every employee that I approached was helpful and friendly. For some reason, this location looks a little ghetto from the other locations I've been too. If they update the building, it would definitely look better. read more

Aside from the cheapest beauty products ever - shampoos, toothpaste, curl defining conditioners, I love Target for their pajammas and towels. Yes, that's specific and maybe a little peculiar, but the baby doll pajamas are cute, comfy, and CHEAP and the towels are big bath size, soft, and CHEAP. You can also get random crap like sweater organizers, costume jewelry, and target branded lavendar soap that doesn't smell cheap at all. Gotta love the bullseye boutique. Sure, it's of the breed of massive superstores like Walmart. But it is so one BIG step up from Walmart. read more

I love Target for a ton of reasons. This Target is right across the street from me and I love it's convenience as well. Target prices are excellent for pretty much everything I want to buy. Household items are mainly bought here for me. Yesterday we even bought our Christmas Tree here. It is much cheaper than those Christmas Tree stands you see in parking lots that also sell pumpkins during Halloween time. read more

Target. I love Target. The problem is that whenever I walk in, I walk out with a load of stuff that I never realized I needed. Or that I was missing. My brother's a big fan of their dog. Anyhow, this Target is ok - I think the ones in the South Bay (Stevens Creek/Cupertino, Downtown Sunnyvale, Berryessa/San Jose) are better. The layout isn't entirely intuitive and their stock of items is sometimes laughably small. Or even non-existent. But I'll come here over Walmart anyday. read more

In terms of customer service, slightly better than Redwood City Target. In terms of selection, slightly worse. It's a smaller store, and I find they just don't have as much stuff, especially on the baby side of things. I need more, more, more than what they have! read more

Walmart, Target. Walmart, Target. Ummm? Target! I love that this target has a small food court to the left as soon as you enter the store. You know we're always ready for a bit to each no matter what we're doing. Today I found a few really cool items in the gardening department that I'm not gonna tell you about because I'm going back for them next week and hopefully they will be there. Target also has a nice grocery section that I find to be better priced then the big grocery store chain such as Safeway and Lucky. read more

I usually shop here ONLY if the item I'm looking for is unavailable at other Target stores. Case in point: Needed a dresser for my Dad for his room at the Memory facility. Saw a nice Mission-style type on sale in Target ad.. Saratoga store was out of it and the Sunnyvale store was now a pile of rubble, so forget that. I didn't bother with the Cupertino store. After checking and putting the item on hold, my husband went to go pick it up in Mtn. View. They couldn't find it . Computer showed it was still there, the last one. Then, he saw it at the customer service area, where they put it on hold with a mangled spelling of the name. The unit was chipped, but we touched it up. Anyway, job done. This store is pretty old. Yes, it used to be a Gemco. I don't go to this one as often as I used to because there are more Targets closer to home than when this Target was put up in the 80's. The surrounding neighborhood around California Ave./Showers Drive has gotten a bit more scuzzy, which doesn't help. I'll give them three stars, but not 4. Yes, I'll be back again. read more

I remember how exciting and busy this Target was when it was new! I thought of Target as the place to go for my drugstore needs, but that is changing given my experiences with products being out-of-stock at this Target location. Once I went in for shoe insoles and they had the tag on the shelf for the product I wanted, but none were in stock, so I went to CVS and purchased it there. Recently I went in for a make-up item and they were out of 4 of the 5 colors, so I ended up ordering it on Amazon, because it is hard to find in stores. This Target would have my business if they bothered to keep their products in stock. Way to make yourself die a slow death Target. Now, I typically check online to see if they have what I want in-stock and sometimes I even place an order for "pick-up", just to insure that the items I want will not go out of stock before I get to the store. It usually works. read more

The security guard came over to me and assaulted me - he came about 1 foot away from my face and was belligerent to me. When I asked for help from the front manager she was not very concerned, and didn't want to give me anyones names. I got the store's director name but no one can tell me when she shows up for work , and I have called many times to try to reach her. I am scared to go in this store and thinking of filing a police report. This guard needs anger management lessons, and also not to come up to people close. He was not even wearing a mask! - Only a old looking loosely fitting bandanna that didn't do anything. Why doesn't target make its employees wear real masks? I used to shop here every week with my daughter but I am too shaken up to go back and there is not even anyone to tell. They would not even take my complaint at the store. Welcome to the new normal - we are all criminals! read more

I only go to this location if I have too - I really wish they would upgrade this store. I prefer Sunnyvally or Milpitas. More recently the seem to have more cashiers and the lines are quick but I would really like a bigger assortment in grocery and keep the shelves stocked, just always too busy I suppose. read more

This is the most confusing store I've had the pleasure of calling my most easily accessible Target. Over the past 1.5 years, the cat litter has been in three (THREE!) different places. I start walking toward its original location, course-correct myself to the second location, and then finally remember where it's now located. Food is next to electronics is next to seasonal items is next to CDs. The layout never ceases to stump me and cause me to feel very disoriented in my shopping process. My kudos go to the person who sets up the Dollar Items bins: they are right up in your face when you walk into the store, making them obvious and appealing. Yes, I did stock up on greeting cards one night. Yes, I did buy several items that I ended up using as half-hearted gift wrap over the holidays. I regret nothing. I also appreciate the surprisingly decent selection of food. I found items there that I couldn't find at a Safeway. They even have some decent wines. (You'll never take my 5-cent wine sale away from me, but I'm down to try some Target!) (To clarify, I just pronounced Target "Tar-Jay" like your mom probably jokes.) C+ for this location. read more

Compared to other Targets, this one is tiny. However, it has a couple of things going for it: - it is off the San Antonio shopping center, an awesome one stop shopping area - even though it is tiny relatively speaking, I can usually find things I need here - this store has a lot more clearance items than other Targets (Foster City, RWC, Sunnyvale). At other Targets, I can never find something I want on the clearance rack. Perhaps they ship all their clearance items to this one - parking is great since it only shares the lot with a WheelWorks - the pharmacy is really good Too bad the food court is very limited. read more

To be honest, this is a pretty dumpy Target. That being said, it's super close to my house so it's the location i go to a few times a month. The staff is really nice, and has been helpful when I've needed help finding something, They don't have a grocery section, but I doubt i would be buying groceries at Target anyway. They also don't have conveyor belts at the checkout, which makes everyone's checking out go much more slowly. This location is in serious need of a facelift. While they have most products I go there for, it would be nice to see some of the improvements that have been made at other area Targets. read more

Staff is super unfriendly, unprofessional, and arrogant. I had a car pickup which I received. However after I had left my car in the 1 of ~8 car pickup spots (that were all empty btw) to run inside to get a few more items, an employee came out and rudely told me to move if I had nothing to be delivered to my car. After I told him I had just had items brought out to my car, he promptly walked away with no response. Management needs to train their employees to at LEAST ask "do you have something to be delivered?" instead of trying to berate a customer. Do better. read more

This is the worst Target I have ever visited, not that I seek out Target stores everywhere I go, but this one just stands out. The interior feels dated. The selection of products is not what I would expect of a Target. Unfortunately, I keep repeatedly forgetting how terrible this Target is and find myself going there because it's conveniently located across the street from the San Antonio shopping center. The last time I went, it was because I really needed more college rule paper. They didn't have any. But that's okay, I also needed paper towels! They had a huge pack on sale right when you walk in, but that was more than I needed, so I walked around looking for a smaller pack... and didn't find one. And I needed a couple of food items, so I went over to the grocery area and remembered that it has about three aisles, not like the nice setup at the Target in Redwood City. Finally, I paid and started to leave, but then I realized, "Wait, I bought paper towels on sale for $9.99, a bag of pretzels, and some paper. Why did I pay almost $30?" My paper towels got rung up twice. When I showed it to my checkout guy, he fixed it for me and apologized politely, but he couldn't make up for my overall feeling of bummed-outness. read more

Target used to be good and prompt at delivery service: no more. They promise to deliver by the end of the day on the condition of purchases for a certain amount but it takes them 2 weeks to deliver and that too one piece or two at a time. Target used to be good now I only order from other places. read more

It's the Target closest to my work, so I'll come here on occasion on my way home. I don't really know what I can say other than it's a Target. If anything, it's slightly more messy than normal ones, but I've always found the lines to be pretty short. It's not a two-level super duper Target like the Sunnyvale one, but it gets the job done. And really, anything is better than that Walmart across the street. read more

I love Target, like most people! They provide good products at decent prices. I don't necessarily care for this location, though. It seems a little dirty to me and their produce/food department is lacking. Therefore, I try to make the extra few minute trip down to the Target in Cupertino which is much cleaner with a full-blown produce/food department. They also seem to have better stocking practices. The Showers Dr. Target seems to constantly be out of products, more specifically jewelry. read more

Inside I think this is a pretty nice store but I would strongly suggest avoiding the curbside pick up. We tried that last night and I ended up waiting about 15 minutes.I went inside and spoke with the very nice and competent customer service staff who told me that the order had been canceled since we hadn't been there when they went outside. This was nonsense since an employee who had been helping someone else definitely looked right at us in the pick up area. Fortunately our order was still assembled in a cart so she just rang them up again and we took them. But I would never use curbside pick up and don't recommend it. read more

I guess each cashier is different at each store and everyone definitely have a different experience. Carlos who works in electronics was so nice. Everyone has been calling crazy and showing up at the store crazy since the launch of the PS5 and a lot of the employees at different stores have been extremely rude and frustrated. Carlos wasn't. He was very nice, calm, and informative. He didn't lose his cool, he was just so nice. I appreciate him. I to worked in retail and always remained calm no matter who stressed out or bothered other people were and it's always good to have that mental balance. Thank you Carlos! read more

They charged me for 3 mascaras, but I only bought and walked away 2. The extra $15 charge required a second trip back to the store... I didn't discover the over charge until I got home. The lines are generally long and slow. I shop here only because it's the closest target to where I live. read more

I have finally given up on Target all together. It took some time for me to accept they simply have horrible customer service due to their policies, so it is not dependent on which store you're in. Today I had a fellow who tossed me my change and I dropped my receipt. I suppose I deserved that since I dared to pay in cash. After getting the stink eye, perhaps because I counted the change since he did not, I left the store without picking it up. I was uncomfortable since I wasn't sure if the attitude coming my way was because I counted the bills or held up the line. Either way, it was not good service. So now I get home and realize one item I purchased I'll need to return. Great. More fun to come. After talking to 3 people, I was told I could return the item as long as I provide a photo ID. "No problem there and thank you" I said. However, I don't need to be told multiple times I need a photo ID. I thought perhaps I wasn't heard when I said no problem and thank you the first few times. I let it go. Well, I'll be returning tomorrow, with my photo ID. I shouldn't have a problem since I will bring my photo ID. I actually have 2 photo ID's and to be on the safe side I will bring both of my photo ID's. So folks, if you'd like to be treated poorly, shop at Target, do not pay in cash,do not count out your change and DO NOT forget to bring your PHOTO ID. read more

I forgot my wallet at home and one of the staff helped me save the receipt-in-progress. I was at self-checkout and had already scanned every item of a huge cartload. She watched my cart with all the bagged items while I went home and came back with my wallet. It probably save me a couple of hours of shopping again if she hadn't done that. Thanks to Laurie and to her boss who told her how to save the receipt! This was during busy holiday shopping times, no less. read more

I moved here recently from the east coast and was shopping for all kinds or things from chairs, kitchen appliances to bathroom accessories for my new apartment. First thing I noticed was they didn't have a large selection and seemed to have only a few items for many things. I was very disappointed with several aspects to be specific: - Limited selection on bathroom accessories - Sofa covers - couldn't find anything but futon covers - Queen bedding - small selection - Computer chairs (I would assume people would like to sit in a chair and try it before buying it) were not on display but were in boxes It's definitely not one of the biggest or best Targets I've been to, but it should fit most people's needs. Like others have mentioned, a more peaceful shopping experience than the Walmart in the same shopping area. read more

Today I went in to buy a Christmas tree and they only had the display. I did not mind because I didn't need a box. The guy that helped me was really nice and helpful. He offered to take the tree to the front so I can continue shopping. Great customer service from Hector. I read name tags :). When I was done shopping I went to the front to get my tree. The lady at the self check out Rosalinda was a different story. She seem not happy to be at her job. When I went to get the tree from where Hector left it for me she asked me "What are we doing?" I said " I am buying this tree" she gave me a weird look. I then asked if I can pay at self check out and she said yes. I then rang the wrong bar code and I asked her which bar code I should scan and she gave me attitude and said "This One" so I proceeded to scan. She then walked away. When I called her back I told her that the tree had a discount because it was a display she then took a deep breath and said "yeah" she did something on the register for the discount. When I was done paying I made sure to say Thank you so I had the opportunity to look at her name tag. read more

This is my closest Target and I go here quite often yet, I always leave disappointed. I really really need to start going to the Sunnyvale one. The store needs some serious help in the merchandising department, as well as inventory control. They already have a very limited selection of items through out the store and even then they are constantly low on stock, with racks or shelves bare. Their baby and accessories sections are particularly the worst. Also, don't other looking for baby boys clothes here... it's pretty much just a baby girls section. They are also clearly understaffed and usually only have 1-2 registers open. With that being said.. the staff here is extremely friendly. read more

The last time I came in, I asked three employees for help and got three different answers, and none of them bothered to help me find what I was looking for. The staff is not knowledgeable and are barely accessible. The store itself is average - nothing impressive about it. There are much better Targets to visit. Nothing to cause you to linger - you just want to get the heck out of there. read more

update of a less descriptive review. Location of Products: GREAT. in other targets I find myself LOST in the aisles for more than 30 minutes, and there are NO employees (in those stores) for me to ask. In this target, there are at least 1 employee per 5 aisles, which is great. One time I spent 2 HOURS in the san jose store trying TO FIND MY WAY OUT. There is no food section, but idc about that..... Price: Bit Pricey on the smaller toys/games, but they have REALLY GOOD clearance on the bigger items. I once saw a 10-inch NERF gun i wanted to buy for a christmas present-- but a 20-inch one was much better (was on clearance) and was only ONE DOLLAR more expensive. Suggestions: PLEASE RE-LOCATE like the safeway did on san antonio, so that your items can be more easily located by your customers. Please lower prices on toys/games, as I have seen lower prices online on amazon/ebay. Times I have gone to this location: more than 100 Times I have gone to other locations: less than 5 Stars: 4.75; docked a bit for location & pricing. read more

First, if you would like to stand in line for 20 min for the cashier to check out one person, this is the place for you. Not to mention that Pam doesn't know how lines work. As she comes to help check people out, which is helpful, she grabs the last person in line instead of the person that has been waiting the longest. It's not that difficult to figure out. Also, the new chip readers force you to use your debit card as a credit card. The machine won't let you swipe it, and then force you to sign versus enter a pin. No one asked for my ID. This is supposed to be a safer way to purchase items? read more

This Target is a little different than the one near my house. This one seems a little bit easier to find things. The staff is good with giving directions to the things I needed. I love Target in general, but I've never been to one even half as bad as this location. It's messy, gross, and the organization of everything makes no sense. To top off today's experience, I witnessed a horrible interaction between a middle-aged male Target employee who was "trying" to show a lady who needed a motorized cart how to use it. There was an obvious language barrier, and instead of being patient and helpful, he was rude and derogatory. He was rolling his eyes and yelling at her. The way he was speaking to her was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I will not be going back here. read more

They have no knowledge about the fact people use Service Dogs. I've been harassed in the store for having a dog, VESTED *a public courtesy*, and while walking around the same visit having literally two more and a security confront me about it before I could leave from pure harassment. Not all Service Dogs are Retrievers or Labs, they can be ANY breed. Judge a Service Dog by it's behavior nothing else- if it is behaving badly then ask them to leave otherwise LEAVE US ALONE. Actually- now that I think about it. Get it straight. I see people's 'fake' service dogs misbehaving, riding in carts ALL THE TIME and no one does anything. Wow. read more

I usually have nothing but praises for all the Targets I visit, however, this one was slightly off and it's hard to pinpoint what it was exactly. Worst Target store.........................ever. Cashier at the "customer service" counter was very dismissive and rude.

I don't know what's wrong with this Target but I feel creepy when I got in there. This is the first time I want to leave the Target store ASAP without check out if I need anything else. Comparing to other places, this store looks dark and the layout is so confused me.
