Went here on Wednesday June 11th 2025 to pick up a few things. First grabbed a wagon and tried on some shorts. as most of my shorts i ended up donating and need new ones. Looked around found some, went to the fitting room, tried them on, and eh they all were kind of tight, except for the blue sweatpant short. Oh and the new fitting rooms are very nice! After trying on my stuff, i put the clothes i tried on the rack that was in front of the fitting room. I then proceeded towards the entertainment section- and didn't really find anything. Sad to see them hardly selling any dvds or Cds. I didn't even see Joe Jonas's new CD out, and was glad i ordered it online. Anyways then went to the seasonal summer section, where i found seasonal summer offerings such as cotton candy, a cotton candy trail mix, and pool floats and noodles. I decided on a cotton candy trail mix, which was delicious when i tasted it at home. Then went to the food section and brought salads as it was again 2 for $6! Then also brought 2 yogurts as well. Also brought madeline cookies that are soft and delicious! Next went to the vitamin section and brought Smartypants womens plus multivitamins, and also brought a claritin. Then brought a bath loofah. Then went to the self checkout and scanned all my items. Total was 66.09. Paid with cash and got my proper change. Will be back soon! read more

I rarely go into target because it's like going into the third world. I know there's people that work there, but I never see them only at the register.. I went in there because I had a Starbucks coupon to use in the Starbucks renovated very nicely. I was looking for drills a power tool I couldn't find anybody to help me find that I'll. I saw a person come out of the stockroom, a young thin man with a full head of curly brown hair I said, where are your drills? Do you sell drills here? he said yes, right down here and he pointed an Isis. This is just outdoor stuff. He says well they should be in here. I said, I don't see any power tools here and he says well maybe it's too early for grills and I corrected him I said, drills there, a power tool like Sanders.. He said go to I'll C41. he then went back into the stock room, so I had to flag down another man to ask where is C 41. he says how he set up his DC in the ace starts way back there any points to the back he says C 41 and the power tools are on the back wall. Well I went to see 41 and there were no power tools at all.. everybody that I attempted to ask again they were walking very quickly helping other customers. I never did get my power tool in. Seems like the store was being rearranged. I have to tell you, the prices are very high go check out the cooking utensil aisle they're outrageous. I couldn't even go into the food aisle, because people were removing pegs on the pegboard to make room for more food and things like that. It was very disturbing not to find a helper or what you went in for like I said it's like going into the third world hardly anybody's in there as far as customers. Coming out, a grocery cart was rolling. They have grocery carts all over the parking lot and ditched in the snow banks one came rolling down off the snowbank at my car. This target is my home target meaning I go into this target a lot almost every week for clothes for my kids , house decor or supplies etc. never had an issue w the workers or the employees even the manager until today . I went into target to return items (clothing ) for my kids that are the "Cat and Jack" brand which is targets clothing brand . Which I've done before and always followed their clothing return policy . This is not my first rodeo swing that I have 3 children under the age of 4. Anyways, I walk in at the guest services and I was met by an empty named Ariel who saw me coming in and I had said " I hello , I have some clothes that I'm returning that I bought less the 2 weeks ago that I'm returning due to them not fitting my twins I need a size up..." she replied "there has to be something wrong w the clothing to return them" .... I then stated that "i know cat and jacks policy w the one year return policy and funny thing is it was bought not even a month ago , I am still going to get the same clothing just size up. And I was just here the day before returning some clothing for my kids which no one gave me an issue but I left 3 shorts at home and I had no choice but to come back today " ... and she continued to said "no" and sarcastically said " have a good day" .... Imagine me walking up to the customer service NO ONE ASKS FOR A RECIPT , NO ONE ASKS YOU THE CONDITION OF THE CLOTHING ! nothing and you just tell me NO ! How does this make any sense ! I shop at this store frequently , I NEVER STEAL , I BUY ALL OF MY STUFF THERE ! I'm a loyal customer !!! And I spend sometime 2-3 hundred dollars in this store and you look at me and tell me NO AND ASK NO QUESTIONS! I feel highly discriminated against and super annoyed that this is their customer service . The workers name is Ariel she has red hair . And I really do not appreciate this type of customer service . I will be calling HR TOMORROW. I spoke to a lovey manager who went over the cat and jack policy's w me which I knew already Expecally seeing the fact the clothes were 2 weeks old ( by the receipt) and took wonderful care of me . This is outlandish ! I'm not one to write write reviews but it was her rude behavior . Which was inappropriate . And she should know the policy if working there ; not only that she should ask questions about the items, look at the items and the receipt!!! read more

I usually have a great experience at this Target. It is neat and organized as expected. I am writing this particular review about a specific experience I had last week. Last Wednesday, during the day, there was only1 line open (aside from self checkout). This left 1 employee to deal with a HUGE line and a lot of customer issues on his own. The manager was around but was nitpicking at him to the point that he eventually snapped, picked up a customer's items and slammed them on the register. He then shouted "I QUIT" and walked away. While we can all agree that this is unacceptable behavior, he is only human, and this felt like a result of multiple leadership failures. As we go into the holidays I hope this store figures out their manning and leadership issues. read more

An average Target in an above average shopping area. This location is right in the middle - while not the worst Target location, it's also not the best. As mentioned, it's located in a generally great shopping area near Woodbury Commons and several other businesses including Walmart. The store is huge and the stock is about what Target generally carries. If you've been to one Target, you've essentially been to them all as far as their stock goes. While I didn't buy anything, I did browse and there were plenty of messes and lack of stock in some areas. I get it - customers can be slobs - but there's no reason to not have paid employees at least keep things off the floor and passably neat. And it wasn't as if the store was that heavily trafficked in the time I was there. Speaking of employees, I had zero interaction with anyone - which is fine by me. No one went out of their way to be friendly or crack a smile, but that is sadly the norm in stores like this these days. I didn't need any help and again didn't buy anything, so I can only comment with what I saw. Parking lot is big and it shares the immediate space with other businesses. Overall a decent shopping option in an area with better shopping options. It all depends on what you're looking for. read more

Starbucks is awful!!! This place took us forever to get out of and the drinks were horrible!

I have no complaints about this target. I usually go mid-day on weekdays and its always quiet and clean. I find everything i need with ease and the prices are always good here. Yes, they are probably cheaper at walmart, but i'd rather pay the extra couple cents to avoid that. I seldom come into contact with staff on the floor (which is fine), and the cashiers are usually friendly and work with urgency. 5 stars in my book. read more

I have been shopping at this Target location since it opened. It has steadily gone downhill in the last two years. The store is quickly becoming a 1 star. It is now routinely messy and downright dirty outside. The front trash bin is always overflowing - disgusting ! It is the norm now to walk in and not be able to get a shopping cart - why ? Because they are all out scattered around in the parking lot and on the sidewalks blocking pedestrians. What style of a management is this ? A new style called 'chill' ' take it easy' 'you buggin?' Come on Target - this is a great location and the store could and should be in pristine condition. Where is regional management ? Absent perhaps like store management ? The store itself is great. The lines can be long at times but they are good at opening registers as needed.... My big problem is with the Starbucks in the store.... The staff is rude and give attitude about altering drinks.... They make it wrong 90% of the time.... I have stopped ordering from there bc if I am paying $6 for a drink I deserve to have it made to my liking... I am paying you for a service and shouldn't receive eye rolls, back talk, ignoring, or any other rude behaviors. Customer service is horrible here. read more

Tiffany was very rude and mean to my young daughter when we entered Starbucks at Target in Monroe, NY asking for cake pop and the answer was "No I will go on my break" mean while she helped the person behind my daughter on line and got them their coffee. Not terrible, not great. This place is kind of inconsistent. The store is generally clean and well organized. Staff is friendly and helpful, although they appear to be understaffed more often than not. I've noticed this when checking out - usually I've only seen two or three registers open with lines a mile long. I can't say I've ever had a negative interaction with a staff member - they all seem to be very customer oriented. The only other complaint I have is that they sell out are several grocery items ALL THE TIME. For example - in the two years I've been shopping at this Target, I have NEVER been able to buy a regular, full-sized carton of half and half. Not even once. Seems strange to me as my favorite times to go are either weekday afternoons or opening hour on the weekend - not exactly peak shopping times. They also never have my favorite yogurt and tea in stock - I buy these at Shop Rite instead. read more

When they're good, they're really good. When they aren't...well, you should probably stay home. They tend to stock somewhat sporadically. There have been plenty of times we have gone in for a certain item and it's just out. No word on when it will be back in. The store is nice and clean though and the new staff there is very friendly and helpful. The Starbucks is pretty terrible though. I would not recommend waiting in the long line for a mediocre coffee. read more

Love this store and especially it's staff. I can always find what I want and, if not, a sales associate is never far off with "can I help you find something". Thanks for adding the food section. Selection very good considering this is not a supermarket and prices at least as low as Shop Rite and many times lower. First, and foremost, I rely on their pharmacy. The pharmacists Toral, Kathy and their technician, Hope, are excellent at what they do and can never do enough to help you. Hope is very pleasant and extremely helpful and accomodating and knows me and my family by our names. She always a friendly smile and eager to help. As for Toral and Kathy, excellent pharmacists and also very helpful and informative. Very professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my families drug needs. read more

Was in Starbucks yesterday at 2:30 in Monroe New York target. I asked for a Frappuccino then I asked the girl that was working there that did not have a name tag if she could put the chocolate sprinkles on the Frappuccino whip cream sometimes they have the mint chip. she said they only have that for the holidays and Christmas. I said when I go to Florida they always have it in Florida. my daughter always gets that from me cuz I know it's a very is it a good flavor. she said to me well then go to Florida and I kinda looked at her took my Frappuccino walked away. And then lady approached me and said what was that all about. I said I guess she was being very rude I didn't realize that employees in Starbucks as much as they charge you for a Frappuccino the employees are that rude she didn't have to be so sarcastic about it. my point being is why don't they have that in all Starbucks. This is such a wonderful Target store. The reason I love this particular Target store so much is the staff. Unfortunately, I am a person who needs a lot of help when I go shopping and the people who have helped me at the Monroe Target have always been friendly, courteous, and know so much about the store and the products they sell. They save me so much time and I get pretty much exactly what I am looking for. Other Target stores in the area pale in comparison to this one. Keep up the good work, folks! I'll stop here over the nearby Wal-Mart everytime. read more

I'd like to give this target location a five star the store itself was clean and well organized and I was able to find several really good deals the cashier who checked me out was polite helpful just what you want to customer service person to Be! Unfortunately I'm giving it a three star because of a brief interaction with what I can only assume was the acting manager or manager on duty. I realize that stores have procedures and code and rules and regulations that need to be at followed so I'm not objecting to that however this in charge person was dressed in tight jeans sweatshirt and ponytail now I realize that target is a casual style and I have no problem with that however as a manager I would think that you dress for the part your are playing. That isn't even really my issue my issue is as she walked by she says to the cashier quite loudly and abruptly did you get a hold of BOB? Now understand this is two minutes before closing and I had several items in my cart as well as several items underneath my cart. The cashier who was very nice but clearly shaken by this question quite obviously starts to look underneath my car steps around the cashier station to look underneath my cart. A little to Decorum goes along way. I would have said something at the time it's just it caught me so offguard that by the time I get out to my car I was fuming. Again I understand you have to do your job but if you could do it with some class and decorum you might get a little bit more respect. She could have just as easily walked behind the counter take a look at what he was doing and I would've been none the wiser as they were clearly closing up their registers. The fact that she made it so I obvious that I might try to be sneaking something out of this store was just simply insulting. I'm actually sitting in the parking lot of target as we speak to return the hundred dollars worth of items that I purchased last night. So much for that good experience.
