Unfortunately for me, the new place is 25 miles further north at the Jefferson Valley Mall. This is as far as you can go in Westchester county because Putnam county is just across the street. Like most malls across the country, JVM is not doing great, with not a lot of tenants or customers and it just seems to be barely hanging on. At least their anchor store, Macy's hasn't bailed yet. I'm hardly ever up this way, but when I am, I'll stop in at WTH to see any new stuff (and to see the old stuff). The new store has almost as big a footprint as the Galleria store, but way bigger than the previous White Plains mall one, which got the wrecking ball also (I'm not sure if that's a good omen). Everything was moved here, every plane, train & automobile (literally) and even Barbie (but no Oppenheimer). John told me he has big plans for the new store and to check back for new inventory soon. Each aisle has a hobby specialty. The biggest proportion is in the back where all the model trains reside. Glass cabinets are filled with vintage Lionel trains and other well known brands. The Hot Wheels collection made it over, as well as the Barbie and Hess truck collections. But my main hobby focus are model airplanes and ships and their collection of old kits is pretty impressive. They get new old kits all the time by buying up old collections and reselling. This trip, I got (3) 70's-80's nostalgic plastic airplane kits that I've had or wanted since I was a kid. I could wander the aisles here all day and they would have to kick me out. Maybe I'll go back after I grab some lunch at the food court...

3.5: The store name could be more accurate because it has mostly trading cards (Pokémon, magic,…read moresports), and then memorabilia, figurines and collectibles, and some interesting board games. Half of the store is devoted to gaming tables. Likely aren't getting any deals here but prices seem to be on par with other similar spots. Small parking lot.

This review is for Toywiz, third party seller from Walmart. All my daughter wanted for the holiday…read morewas a suitcase of the LOL Surprise Dolls. No one had it in stock. However, Walmart had 1 suitcase left, sold through the third party, Toywiz. It looked like it was repackaged but I did not think that would be the case with something purchased through Walmart so I let my hunch go. Imagine how devastated my daughter was when she opened the dolls and one was missing her shoes and another was missing bracelets. I reached out to Walmart who said that they would reach out to the seller on my behalf. I also reached out to the seller. The seller stated that the pieces are not guaranteed but rather this is part of the "surprise." Now, that is LOL! I reached out to the manufacturer who said all pieces should be there and did not have replacement pieces in stock. I reached back out to Walmart and spoke with Rhea who told me I could keep the product AND receive a full refund. When I did not receive any notice, I called Walmart back and spoke with Louis who said he would escalate my issue. I am still waiting for a response and will update this review once I receive one. In the interim, two words for anyone reading this review - Buyer Beware!

Brand new hobby shop geared towards trading card games (CCG/TCG) - mainly Magic The Gathering,…read moreYu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon. Looks like they completely overhauled what used to be here. Very clean inside and organized. Tables are setup for games and there's a spot for snacks & drinks for players. Appears that they're still putting some final touches inside but it's open for business and the workers were friendly. Asked if I had any questions but I just took a walk around to see what they offered now. For sale were all sorts of booster packs, collections, play mats, etc. Even storage sleeves & boxes. I saw some loose Magic cards as well. The only thing in the shop that wasn't card-based was the wall of Funko Pop figures. Several shelves of regulars and exclusives. If you're into that and/or card games then this is the place for you!

Extremely unwelcoming and rude staff -- worst first impression I've had at a TCG store…read more I walked in 15 minutes after opening, politely greeted the employee, and asked about hanging out in store prior to the event schedule, only to be snapped at with "no thats what no free play means" and then talked down to in a serious, condescending tone over "no free play," despite me never asking to play. The event wasn't for another two hours, and I was clearly just checking out the store for the first time. Zero customer service, zero friendliness, and absolutely no reason to ever spend money here -- good luck to them.
