This store is definitely not for everyone - think thrift store, but not as quirky/vintage-feeling. If you need 1 thing, don't necessarily expect to find it. That being said, if you've got some time to spare and know the value of items generally, you can get some great items at great savings! Buyer beware, not everything here is necessarily the cheapest you can get it elsewhere. The store is set up into sections (books, home goods, seasonal, pets, etc) and most of the items are multiples. You'll find laundry detergent overstock from Target ($2-3 cheaper!) or way off brand dog snacks (ehh..) or a GIANT array of carpets small to huge. Being a discount store, you can expect lines and overworked cashiers and 0 sales floor staff, but that's just the nature of discount stores (think Dollar Store just down the strip). That being said, cashiers are always nice and you can save 15% off your next purchase if you sign up for their free membership. Again, not for everyone - if stores like Dollar stores and Ross give you anxiety, stick to TJMaxx and Target. But if you're not afraid of a challenge and enjoy the thrill of the "treasure hunt", you're gonna love it! read more

I seriously love this store. There is so much to look at. They have a huge book selection. From children's books and coloring books to adult novels, self help and cooking and also religious books too. They do offer a teacher discount too. I was extremely surprised to see they have it all. I go here alot for a good bargain on laundry detergent, zip lock bags and even spices to cook with. But that is not it!! They have small kitchen appliances (blenders, toasters, slow cookers and so on) They even have a nice selection of area rugs and flooring options. Household cleaning products, bathroom necessities, children's toys, home decor, a section of food. They also have stuff for your car, towels, bedding, clothes and outdoor furniture. Basically they have it all. I can be in here for an hour or 2 and find so many good deals. The other day I went in jist to look and found nice shower curtains for $5 & a slow cooker for $25! If you have not been here I'm telling you, you're missing out!! Only downside the store is a bit outdated and they sometimes have long lines. Which is fine I don't mind especially if I'm saving anywhere from $30 - $75 on good buys! read more

Spent 100 and almost returned it all because of the attitude of the cashier and this store is not taken care of! first of all let me start by saying that the merchandise is all over the floor the displays are not kept well the employees are rude when I asked a question they were clueless as to where the merchandise was located why would you want to buy merchandise that's been Stepped On by other people see my photos the manager FRAN should take a walk around the store, witness and see what's not being done and correct it. my previous visit to this store was very pleasant experience and was over 2 years ago now it's all gone downhill.... Shame on the manager's. It's up to them to ensure the staff is performing to the fullest.... read more

I stumbled into this store! What a treasure tucked into the strip mall! I spent about an hour here, and found stuff I didn't even know I needed. The store was clean, overly stocked yet well organized so not overwhelming. The staff was very friendly, well groomed, and professional. I'm already planning my next trip up to Middletown to go here. What a poorly run store, went on 12/9 for the members sale and it was a disaster waited to check out for an hour, manager had no control of the store to many people in the store the store is like a hoarders dream, just a complete mess narrow isles and totally dirty. Sam the cashier. I usually dont leave bad reviews but my cashier was soooo awful and rude I felt like I was being pranked. First off I said hello and put my things on the counter and she just stared at me. I was patient and eventually she started scanning my items. I got the feeling she wanted me to line up my items on the counter for her, but that's crazy right? As she scanned I asked her how much a bag was, no response. At this point I could tell she was deliberately being a jerk so I said "we aren't talking today?" To which she replied "who?" I said with a smile, "you, I asked you how much a bag was?" She said 22 cents and I said I'd take one, then she just stared at me some more. Was she high?! I don't know. I just stared back at her then she eventually opened the paper bag and stared some more. I bagged my own items, paid, then told her to have a nice day to which I got no reply. You don't want to talk? fine, but do your job and don't be a jerk about it. read more

so i called the corporate office a week ago and still have not heard from the district manager this is a joke ollies is a horrible store as it is the food is almost expired so make sure you check everything before you buy anything because you do not want to be disappointed you know but i think ollies management needs to be fired and rehire new people that will take consideration into their job it looks like a giant garage sale the tall cashier you will know who he is he wont shut up at the register and even broke my glasses ollies is a comedy show and you never know what you will find read more
