This review is for Toywiz, third party seller from Walmart. All my daughter wanted for the holiday was a suitcase of the LOL Surprise Dolls. No one had it in stock. However, Walmart had 1 suitcase left, sold through the third party, Toywiz. It looked like it was repackaged but I did not think that would be the case with something purchased through Walmart so I let my hunch go. Imagine how devastated my daughter was when she opened the dolls and one was missing her shoes and another was missing bracelets. I reached out to Walmart who said that they would reach out to the seller on my behalf. I also reached out to the seller. The seller stated that the pieces are not guaranteed but rather this is part of the "surprise." Now, that is LOL! I reached out to the manufacturer who said all pieces should be there and did not have replacement pieces in stock. I reached back out to Walmart and spoke with Rhea who told me I could keep the product AND receive a full refund. When I did not receive any notice, I called Walmart back and spoke with Louis who said he would escalate my issue. I am still waiting for a response and will update this review once I receive one. Honestly I loved the store they had a bit of everything from marvel legends, hot toys, Mafex, legos etc etc. Also had a gaming area which didn't interest me too much but it was cool. Bought a comic bin and it was missing the lid so I asked the cashier if it was fine if I took a different one and he was totally cool with it great customer service. My only real complaint was the pricing was a bit off on a couple of items. Some hot toys were way overpriced while others weren't which was weird. One Spider-Man hot toys was 999 idk if it was a joke but it was funny. Couple of dc multiverse figures were crazy too but most of the import price were at retail which was great. Other than that I recommend to go check it out the store is cool af and definitely worth the visit read more

My son wanted me to leave a review of Toywiz because he's had such positive experiences there. After visiting many stores in the area, mostly stores focused on collectibles, Toywiz wins for their selection and their friendly service. My son was specifically looking for basketball cards, but as an one time comic book fan and forever super hero fan - this store is pretty cool. Being honest this place is okay well for me, just don't ever order from online, better to take it physically, but the prices of there items in the store seem to be right, it's just that trading for a item would be difficult because they'll give you less, try to hustle a bit for more money or credit, over all there selection is good, they have all of the item which I mean is cards and sometimes comics. Wow how much a few years make smh... so they basically revamp the whole store and when I went in I was amazed to the fact that there wasn't as many comics like they had before (especially the independent titles) I asked the individual who was working there and his response was "i don't know that much about comics".... and then i noticed that the prices on there figures are alot more then what other comic book stores are selling em for. And here the kicker which i consider bad business. I called them for a comic that my local LCS didn't have, they only had the A cover and toy wiz had the B cover but the individual said it was gonna be $25 which I said ok. I told my LCS to not worry cause Toy wiz had a copy and was gonna sell it to me for $25, which angered my friend cause he said it wasn't a special varient just a B cover so there was no need to sell it for more then what the cover price was. I called another comic shop that also had it and sold it to me at cover price... Shame on toy wiz... read more

MTG! and PINBALL! they got it all, lots of oop packs, ftv and a bunch of other nerdstuffs, if you didnt understand that, well, just keep moving on. anyway, i saw them for the first time during a trip to spring valley, they claim they have been in this place for 3 years, i doubt it as I would have noticed a storefront like this, but hey, i could be wrong. did i mention pinball? pristine machines with good action, they even had a few other uprights, but those arent my thing. also lots of gaming space in the back for tournies and the like. my issue? price, wholly $ signs batman! everything was expensive, i mean you can find it for way less on line, no doubt, but when the itch is there, you gotta scratch it. even the pinball was 50 cents a game, i know, petty, but it adds up. you gotta make you money somehow. also, they were selling 1987 topps waxpacks, for 5 bucks a pack! the whole set isnt worth 5 bucks, love it! oh and the staff were very despondent, like zombies, no one said hi to me or acknowledged my presence while i was browsing. so other than the price, this place had it all, and i would go back. read more

Great spot for RPG games and models. I had to pick up items for Christmas and the staff was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. They have a great selection and the website shows alot of what they carry. Prices were reasonable as well. read more

They are real and legit. The only reason they have bad reviews are when Pokemon exploded back into popularity and EVERYTHING became expensive and then these people blame small shops. They are idiots. These people dont realize that they have to make a profit on their products and back then in 2020 and parts of 2021 even stores like this where low on product and paying more to get less. Do not pre-order Football, Basketball or Baseball cards. The cards originally released at the end of September but the release date was pushed back until October 7th. Specifies cards would ship in October. The cards have been released to the public for 10 days and and my order still has not shipped. After contacting Toywiz.com about my order they have informed me my order will not ship until sometime in November. Poor customer service and communication. I ordered 6 cards (2 played, 4 near mint), the next day I was told all the Near Mint copies of the card were mysteriously unaccounted for. An "inventory error". I've dealt with other card dealers who have mysterious inventory errors when cards go up in value. Extremely unhappy that my parents got suckered into buying from this company via Walmart website. They inflate prices so bad. Parents bought a stuffed animal from Abby Hatcher show not realizing it was a 6" plush and that it was being sold at more than 3 times the retail price. Parents paid $35.60 (26.99 plus tax and $6.99 shipping) for a small 6" stuffed toy that costs less than $8 retail from original source. It's sad that they are ripping people off and Walmart is enabling them to do so. When I reached out for full refund I was denied. Happy to warn others now! read more

I went online and ordered a NY Mets lego kit for my son. When he tried to set the legos up, they would constantly fall apart, so of course I wanted my money back. I called customer customer service to request a return, and I was told I could not return the item because it was already opened. The N Y METS Lego set was obviously a knock off. After placing the order I realized the person I was going to gift the item to already had one so I cancelled the order right away(within an hour). 2 days later I receive an email that the item shipped. Nice size store, not cluttered at all. I stopped in because there were a few books I wanted to get and wasn't going to be by my local shop. They had everything I wanted. The new books are prominently displayed, with the older stuff of shelves just behind. They had a good assortment of trades and hard covers. It seems like this place is more into games though. I'd guess Magic and such as well as board games. There was a back area that had tables and a few people were playing. There really wasn't too much customer service. No greeting as I walked in. Nobody asked if I needed anything. Also, the most I got was a have a nice day as I left. Not huge deal, but I didn't really feel all that welcome. The place is a good substitute if I'm in the area though. read more

I used to collect alot of comics and Toy wiz was my favorite spot to hit up for my weekly releases. Toy Wiz has a huge selection of the current releases as well as back issues, trade paperbacks, hardcovers and much much more. As the name implies they also have a very wide variety of collectors toys from super nerd(term of endearment) Franchises like Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Walking Dead, WWE, and much much more. Toy Wiz also sells board games, trading cards and has a massive back room where you can play board games and enjoy other nerdy pursuits. The employees are very nice and knowledgeable and i would strike up a conversation from time to time about comics with them. NOW what keeps This place from getting 4 stars is their prices. they don't mark up new releases but as soon as a week later if an issue is hot they will bag and board it and mark it up, i understand why i just don't like it since other stores in the area don't do it. They also charge pretty insane prices for their toys. Their marvel collections prices are all over the map and you can find the same figure for $5 at toys r us if your lucky. If your a collector that is a big problem however This place is the best spot to get your items so you need to deal with it. Overall though its a terrific place to visit even if your just there to browse. read more

I just ordered the set off Funko Wwe set of 5 back may the order was arrives 4 months later and was not packaged correctly. 2 of my Funko boxes were creased and dented. I contacted customer service immediately to se how we could rectify it . They asked for pictures which I was happy to send. The responded back with they would send me a box. I am a collector of Funko and have the entire line of WWE , with that said I informed them that taking the item out of the box loses value. After they had found out I was a collector they had told me I should have said something and they would have put a nice one aside. So that means for a everyday Joe who orders they are just going to ship garbage. They didn't want to pay for me to ship the busted ones back and them sent new ones, said it would be at my own expense. I finally just settled with taking the me boxes and being done. My replacement boxes arrive and they are jammed into a shipping box and all creased up. I have photos to prove. I would steer clear of this company. I will NEVER do business with them again. Awesome comic shop. Granted the bulk of its profit comes from the magic cards. I dont complain cuz it keeps the comics on the shelves. The only reason i dont give 5 stars is simply because a few good books just dont make it to the shelves. And if they do only 4-5 books which are gone by the time i get out of work.
