It is Labor Day weekend, back to school shopping. My kids and spouse found clothes they wanted to try on. We go to the fitting room , it is closed! No fitting room available! The young man said try to the shirts on over our clothes. What about the bottoms? He had no answer. His explanation was they got a shipment in and had to store it in the dressing room. The person who unpacks and checks in shipments is not coming in until Tuesday. My husband & another customer are directed toward a man who was a "manager". He also states that they got this shipment in , the person who unpacks shipments is not coming in until Tuesday. My husband says, how about storing the boxes against the walls or in the dead spaces in the store, just to open up one or two dressing rooms, The alleged manager says they can't. The other customer says no one is asking you to open the boxes just stack them out of the way. We left, not buying anything as did the other customer. We went to Vineyard, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike and Tommy Bahama sorry we couldn't wait till Tuesday.

I've also tried a small variety of their baked goods, but they only one that's stood out so far is a apple strudel type pastry they sell where you select them individually, by where the sandwiches are. This is an interesting place, but if you're not familiar with the culture here, I'll give you a tip, don't try and hand the money to the cashier directly, put it on the counter, and in turn, they'll put your change on the counter as well.

At approximately 9:32 p.m., we were selecting our final items and were preparing to proceed to the cashier. At that moment, the store manager, Irene, approached us and stated that the store was closed. I acknowledged this and responded that we were simply finishing our last selection and would head to the register immediately. Despite this, Irene responded firmly with, "No. You need to go to the front of the store now. We are closed." In my experience as a frequent customer at this location and others, it is customary for stores to make a closing announcement over the intercom and allow customers already inside a brief grace period (typically 10-15 minutes to complete their purchases). This did not occur. If this location is so adamant about their closing procedures, then the door should have been closed prior to 9:30PM and/or Irene should have stood at the entrance informing ALL customers that they are no longer allowed to enter the store. However, given we had entered prior to closing time, we should have been granted the courtesy of at least 5 minutes. Instead, we were abruptly instructed to stop shopping and proceed immediately to the front. While I fully respect store closing procedures and employees' time, the manner in which this was handled felt unnecessarily dismissive and confrontational. Being spoken to in such a forceful way, especially after acknowledging the request, was disappointing and triggering and did not align with the level of customer service I have come to expect from TJ Maxx.

We went in hoping for a deal on the tech fleece jackets, and thats exactly what we found! Seems like all of the tech fleece joggers were snagged before we arrived as there was only 1 pair of joggers left; luckily we were able to get a navy blue fleece tech jacket & for an additional 50% off! So it ended up being less than $50. Line was a little long but moved pretty fast.

Lines move quick, plenty of deals and inventory post Memorial Day. They ran their usual 40% off sneakers from the wall (boxes with no lids). Saw bunch of resellers scooping up some Nike ball sneakers probably to flip for quick profit with the additional sale on some of them.

Nothing beats a little retail therapy! I don't come here as often as I used to, but somehow, every visit still feels special. This afternoon, I stopped by a few premium brand stores, and every shopping experience was wonderful. On top of that, I also ended up getting quite a few steps in. By the time I got back to my car, I realized how much better I felt. Sometimes, a little shopping, a lot of walking, and a familiar place are all you need to reset.

Despite the mess, i found 2 coats that i liked, one was a burgendy one, and another was a black one with a pinstripe pattern for special events like thanksgiving or a party. I ended up buying the black one with the pinstripe pattern, as for an everyday coat, i was looking for more of a red. We also looked around the store, and didn't really find much of anything. Went to the cashier, and waited in line for a bit. Finally got served by a Cashier and paid for my coat, and the total was 36.43, which really isn't bad! Paid via credit card, and went on my merry way. Hope to be back soon!

When the issue could not initially be resolved, the District Pharmacy Manager personally stepped in, making multiple phone calls and advocating tirelessly on our mother's behalf until the prescription was ultimately approved. Their actions truly exemplify compassion, dedication, and patient-focused care. They offer a variety of fresh produce and organic foods. I personally felt the meat department was lacking.. BUT I was reminded it was the END of the night.. oh yeah heh *blush*. So we'll have to try that again when it's daylight. They also have a floral area and I think a Pharmacy. The isles are wide enough without being huge. And all of the staff is very helpful if you seek assistance. I'm not yet sure which grocery store will be my store of choice but we shall see in the future =) Oh and a tip, at the end of the night the left door (facing the building) is locked so you probably want to park near the other door, especially if it's raining.
