I frequent this location fairly often as it is close to home, and man, has it gone downhill. Lately I can't even get to the items I need as store employees are blocking every aisle with giant carts full of boxes as they stock shelves, or they're picking items for customer's pickup. I understand they have a job to do but it's EVERY aisle, and it makes navigating the store extremely difficult. Also, the past few times I have used the self-checkout, there was no attendant there at all. I needed someone to take a security sensor off of an item and had to stand around waiting while the teenage employees stand around the customer service desk talking with each other. I miss the friendly employees this location used to have, and the easy accessibility to navigate this store. read more

"It's the Janky Target!" The Target closest to my workplace. So once in a great while if I'm needing Thank you cards or event supplies, I'll steel my will for a good few weeks before deciding to come here over my lunch hour for said desperately needed work items. It's smaller. The employees are the worst in the Target Tri-State Area. The customers will mow you down with their cars and maybe also their carts. 2-Stars is generous. This always has, and always will be, my favorite Target. I love the layout, the parking lot is crazy but plentiful, the crew is helpful. The clothes and shoes are so cute (with many sizes), and I even get my eyes checked here! Target Circle provides a lot of great deals. Make sure to get the Target credit card for even more savings. There is a grocery area with fresh foods and an area with fresh flowers. Amazing home furnishing options. Such a lovely place to stroll and spend some self-care time. read more

Today I went to Target on Chase to get three things, but left empty handed. One item was on special, but the shelves were empty with boxes in the floor waiting to be stocked. The second item appeared to be there, but a related item filled the spot where a label showed it belonged. I was told that supplies were not available for the third item; I then drove a few miles to another Target and stocked up there. Clearly not the problem I was told. During my hunt, I also saw a young mother approach two young male staff to ask for help. They paused their conversation and one shrugged while the other pointed a direction. Since I was nearby, I heard them return to their conversation about how much they dislike customers. Things are tough. I still like Target. But, please, get your act together. read more

During my recent trip to Milwaukee, my husband and I decided to stop by this Target location for a few things that include a few beauty items (for me) and food and snack items to keep at our vacation rental. We came in on a Monday night, just shortly before 10 pm. With it being kind of late, it was either we go to Target or Walmart (I really don't like Walmart). I am glad that this location currently closes at 11 pm on weekdays. Since we came in rather late, it was pretty quiet for the most part. But I was still able to find an employee when I needed to look for a particular item in the beauty section. This employee was helpful at trying to help me find this item but unfortunately Target just didn't carry it. She apologized and did suggest other stores when I may be able to find what I was looking for. At the register, this employee was friendly and helpful at taking care of our transaction. Since I had paid with a gift card, she was sure to show me where I could see the remaining balance on the receipt. For the most part, my shopping experience was just fine. Employees were friendly and the layout was similar to other Target store locations. There is a Starbucks inside and the dollar spot just like the other Targets. Blue cart wipes were available by the entrance and the free WiFi was just fine to get onto (in case you wanted to redeem coupons through the Target app). If I live in this area, I would come back. read more

I haven't been in this store since March 2020, but I have bought a ton of stuff from there. How? Curbside pickup and getting delivery. Most recently, I was able to use my Target Circle account to get $10 off a $50 curbside order, so I decided to treat myself to some new shampoo. Gotta look good on those endless video calls, right? I also picked up a few other items. But I need to get to the point. The app allowed me to let them know when I was leaving to get my stuff, and there is a well-marked area to park and wait for it. I clicked the "I'm Here" button and there was a less than 60 second wait. The store employee who brought my stuff out was pleasant, but wore a mask, and adhered to every safety precaution I could have wanted. She even put the stuff in the back of my car for me. I am not sure I will ever go back into the store after this. And not going in saves me money on all those impulse buys. Win-win! read more

I mean, Target. C'mon, it's a classic. I couldn't even begin to think of anything lower than the full 5 stars. They have pretty much everything. And the clearance aisles are my best friend. This location is a bit smaller than other area locations. Bummer. But, perhaps it's a little less crowded too? Tonight I did a drive up purchase. Have you done a drive up purchase?! It's the best. Great customer service. I had help looking for the ottoman to match the upholster chair that I got. And I got helped to my car, it's the first target I've been to that I didn't have 15-30min in line just to get out. I seriously frequent this Target allll the time because it's literally 2 minutes from my house, so not sure why it's taking me so long to write this review... Um. What can I say that isn't already obvious or that others haven't pointed out?! Less busy than Walmart. Price point keeps this place from being packed, except for around the Holidays of course. We usually go during down times anyway. In general this place is clean. Workers are always friendly, but like Walmart, there's never enough cash registers open!! That's really the only downside. I can't say that I've experienced rude Employees or was unable to get something that wasn't stocked, except for facial tissues. It's not a super center. It is smaller than other targets I've been to, but it serves its purpose. I don't have too many qualms with this place. read more

I hate this Target. It's old, small and the workers are rude AF. I understand that retail (and especially having to work on New Years) sucks but when the cashier scans my cart full of stuff, blankly states at me when I run my card, and hands me a receipt without ONE word.... Is the Apocalypse happening tonight and no one told me? We came in only because we had a Groupon and my daughter wanted jeans. The Girls department looked like my daughter's room. Clothes were thrown all over the place. Hardly any jeans in stock. We go to the dressing rooms and there is no attendant. Feel free to steal whatever you want! Now I feel all itchy when I got home. Came here the first time to pick up a starter bike for a fellow yelper. The bike ended up breaking so it ended up getting returned. I guess they stand behind their product. Her account was refunded. And defective bike was RTV. I've been back 2 more times since then. This Target here has been extra extra nice. People here are really making an effort to engage the customer with interactions. Not just stocking shelves till you find them and then ask for assistance. One associate even offered me a snack. While in the food section. I've seen a shift in other departments such as electronics and sporting. I really don't live near by this location but it changed my general opinion of Target for the better. Strange how 3-4 interactions with good associates can make a difference. My only issue is the The parking lot is odd. not sure why it has so much grade. So watch your cart and car doors. This is the Target I frequent the most because it seems to be the least picked over (Miller Park I'm looking at YOU). That said, there are things that can be kind of hit or miss sometimes, mainly clothes. The most recent time I visited was really pleasant. I saw clerks all over and that was nice because I needed help finding something at one point. Then when I was ready to check out, one of the employees was hanging back surveying all of the check out lanes to point customers to the fastest one. What a great system! This old and tired Target needs a rehab job. Fried, alienated workers don't even bother with neatening and restocking the store, if you do see someone working they will run from you if you need help. There's far less choice in any department than any other Target, by mid afternoon on a weekend this place looks like they are having a going out of business sale. Not sure what has possessed me to write a review about a Target, but here I am. This Target is close to where I live, so it is the Target I go to. It is not a good Target. First of all, it is the worst stocked Target I have ever been to. The sock section is always half empty for some reason. Their shoe section always looks awful and the boxes are thrown randomly about. Compared to other Targets in the area, this one is least likely to have items if you look them up online. I don't really bother shopping here anymore because most of the time they won't have much to choose from and they won't have items in every size. Another issue is customer service. There's an older woman who works here and I get that working in retail sucks, but don't be rude to people who have done nothing to you. She made a really snarky comment to me after rolling her eyes because I was going to try on some swimsuits. It can be hard for me to find the right type of suit that works well with my body so I had a lot in hand and she just rolls her eyes at me and says "Fine, but we close at 9". It wasn't even 8 yet! I then told her I'd put them back myself and she didn't respond. It made me feel super uncomfortable and awkward. There was another day she said something rude to me when I set down like three shirts I didn't want. Again, I get retail sucks, but if you're assigned to the dressing room it's your job to put stuff away so why be rude about it? read more

First of all my cold pills took way longer than usual. I opened the box and my pills were dated with an April of 2021 expiration date. I called to complain and was transferred to someone that oversees this and she claimed she was hearing loud music on her end and would call me right back. I never got a return call. I ordered my own return. This is not the first time I have dealt with expired product on their shelves. Check your dates weather it be online or in store. This review is specifically for Adriana in electronics, though this Target store as a whole was lovely as far as Target stores go. Stopped in for a few essentials, and decided to swing by the electronics department to browse cameras. I am..... stupid.... when it comes to camera tech. I know about megapixels, and how to set the timer so I can jump in the shot. Beyond that, I know what the auto setting is. Anyways, my husband and I are staring at the garbledy-goop that is the description of these machines when an angel of mercy and information shines her wisdom down upon us. Adriana is beyond WELL versed with the equipment, and can explain it to people of our limited experience. She gave us her honest opinions of what was the best options, but also what we could get away with for our needs on our budget. It was glorious. Give this girl a raise. read more

Oh, I shop here too much, I do I do. Clothing here is a toss up, either they have a bunch of really nice clothes, or its ugly as sin. I also find the pants sizes weird, forget your size just try them on until you find a size that fits. And when I find something I like I can usually find my size, about 80% of the time. My size is strangely hard to shop for, but I can many times find it here so that's a plus. Shoes... meh, okay. My husband has bought a few pairs of dress shoes here only for them to fall apart quickly. It looks like there's some nice working mens shoes there, I wanted a pair but they didn't go down that low in mens sizes. The newly improved food area... an improvement on the old but not great. They have healthier options then before and a small area to sit and munch. I wouldn't go here for lunch, but I'm sure if someone needs something fast and they happen to be here then it'll do. The new grocery section is nice. I can find quite a few things cheaper here then at other stores. I don't do my full grocery shopping here, but there are a few items I now only go here for because of the price. Oh, BTW, in your frozen "vegetarian" section you only have two vegetarian items and chicken meals. Really?! Surprisingly, they also have a good amount of organic products, not in the produce section but in random other areas of the grocery section. While that's not a surprise, the fact that they are including organic items in the grocery is a step in the right direction. I always love their baby clothes. I want to buy a ton of baby clothes... but we don't have kids and there's no baby shower in sight so I don't. Sigh... I'm a freak. but the three piece blue baby arctic animals set was so cute and soft. And that cute little dress... My husband buys his glasses here and hasn't had any problems. He just bought a new pair and is satisfied with them. He also goes there for adjustments and repair when needed. The customer service is nice, especially their "two customers per check out" policy. Any time it looks like they need more cashiers they get them ASAP. Sometimes a person is standing there with a walkie talkie ready to call in the reinforcements and helping customers find faster lanes. Security is helpful, including when my inlaw's car broke down and they needed to keep it in the parking lot overnight until they could get a tow truck. And there are many other products I like to buy here to, it is full of variety. I gave them 4 stars because sometimes something isn't in stock and the shoes my husband wants are not good quality. Also, the fitting rooms need to find a way to let customers leave their carts be, I feel a little unsure of leaving mine there while I go in to try clothes (especially when they have their own carts there ready to go out and restock the rejects, what if they mistakenly think my cart is one of them?). read more

I travel a lot for work, all over the US, and I almost always stop at a Target for grocery items. Targets are almost always good and consistent. They are like an oasis that you never want to leave. NOT this one. This is the WORST Target I've ever been to. It is hard even to navigate to get into the parking lot! But if you can't get in, it is a blessing in disguise because once you're inside, you'll find a dirty, rundown, crowded, worn-out, Kmart of a Target. Bathroom was FILTHY and TINY. And I mention that this place is DIRTY? Avoid it if you can and God help you if you cannot!! read more

I have a love-hate relationship with this target. I've been going here since I was 3 feet tall. First, the employees are awesome and helpful. The 3 stars has nothing to do with the service from the employees. Every time I go there and need help, they are great. The 3 stars comes in because I generally can't stand when kids are treating the place like a chuck e cheese. Every time I go there some kid is screaming and running around like he just got done eating a box of pixie sticks. They generally have a good selection but run out fast when there are sales. For instance, I have a pet-peeve when I need something and this Target is always our of it. Printer ink seems to always allude me when I am here. Everytime (4 times now) that I have needed printer ink they didn't have my kind. Also, the remodel killed the walk-around-ability of this target. I used to make a loop when I walked through this store... But now I need one of the red shirt khaki locals to guide me me like a Sherpa to base camp. read more

I really don't have the same problems as the others do with this Target. While it's not as good as the West Allis, Franklin or Oak Creek locations, in my opinion it's much better than West Milwaukee or Greenfield. That being said, I did have some problems finding some things on my very long Target list. While I was able to find most of my baby stuff, my printer ink, my cleaning supplies and most of my things from health and beauty, a few things alluded me. One was shoes for my baby. This area was a mess, and I was lucky to find a left and a right show that was the same size, let alone the perfect pair for my little one. This area could use some TLC. Another was the picture frames. Sure, they had plenty of them, just not the selection or stock that other stores have. Only the ugliest of frames were left, begging to be bought. The last miss was my wife's John Frieda Go Blonder Shampoo. They had plenty of the Go Blonder Conditioners, yet the were flat out of the shampoos. If a product is that popular and you have a sale on it to boot, you should probably have a ton of it in back, otherwise you will be forever honoring rain checks. The store is laid out well since the remodel. Even though this store has been around for as long as I can remember (this might be the first Target store I visited in the early 80's) it's still perfectly functional and easy to navigate after drastically being changed over the years. Otherwise, they had most of my list and the employees here are super nice, along with being super fast at the checkouts. If they could just put a little more work into the sales floor, this would be one of the best Targets in the city. read more

I was here for the optical department today, but while i waited for my appointment i browsed most sections of the store. Happy to see the items i wanted to try on were in my size (always a plus as sometimes racks are too picked over). However, others are correct. Clothes everywhere are not ordered by size, on hangers of the correct sizes, or on hangers at all. Lots on the floor and no one in clothing at all fixing it. I think the enjoyability of shopping at this location could be greatly improved. Lady at the dressing rooms was nice as well as other employees. I did overhear some complaining about coworkers which i don't enjoy hearing while i pick out some Halloween candy for next week. Generally, I'm a huge fan of target and could shop here almost exclusively. However, i go to this one less often because of its inconvenience (not particularly close to where i live - two much closer), poorer neighborhood, and how items are consistently more expensive here than the same items at other area targets. I sadly shop at targets often enough to remember a shirt or home item on clearance being several dollars cheaper at 100 or miller parkway. I would rather buy there and not wonder if it was cheaper at another location. read more

WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY back in the day, this was one of the few Targets in the MKE area. On the south side you had your choice between this one and the one on 27th and Layton. It had been probably 15 years since I'd been to this one when I moved to Bay View a few years ago. It was somewhat of a time warp at the time and I did like the cozier feel and dimmer lighting. The remodel was harsh but for the best as they expanded the grocery section. And now it's getting a Starbucks. I don't drink coffee but I love the hot chocolate in winter so, it's a good thing. Pricing/sales/etc...it's a Target. Corporate controls that so I'm not going to worry about that here. But this is a generally clean, friendly place to go. Checkout lines are generally pretty short and the shelves are stocked. Getting into and out of the parking lot can be interesting and is my main source of frustration here. read more

Meh.... This is a very mediocre target. Once I was there and 2 associates looked right at me and scurried away. This was while I was waiting for assistance after I used one of their little red phones. One employee literally walked right by me with his radio blaring like the police in a foot pursuit. "Customer assistance needed in home improvement," but he wasn't stopping. It seemed like he was looking around making sure a manager didn't catch him ignoring me. Cellophane... Mister Cellophane... Shoulda been my name... Finally one guy did stop. He helped me. I moved on. The store comes in handy if you use it often and know what to expect. But if you're visiting this it will give you a poor impression of target mostly because the employees have the same attitude as the first word in my review and they don't stock as well as some targets. I tend to try and go at less busy times to avoid long lines but the staff seems to act like your interrupting them from standing around gossiping about other employees rather than helping the next costumer in line. I know this isn't really the target part, but my friend and I went to the Starbucks in the target. We ordered two drinks, but only got one. We waited for a while until we realized they weren't going to make the drink. We reminded them and then they finally made it for us.
