Today I went to Target on Chase to get three things, but left empty handed. One item was on special, but the shelves were empty with boxes in the floor waiting to be stocked. The second item appeared to be there, but a related item filled the spot where a label showed it belonged. I was told that supplies were not available for the third item; I then drove a few miles to another Target and stocked up there. Clearly not the problem I was told. During my hunt, I also saw a young mother approach two young male staff to ask for help. They paused their conversation and one shrugged while the other pointed a direction. Since I was nearby, I heard them return to their conversation about how much they dislike customers. Things are tough. I still like Target. But, please, get your act together.

During my recent trip to Milwaukee, my husband and I decided to stop by this Target location for a few things that include a few beauty items (for me) and food and snack items to keep at our vacation rental. We came in on a Monday night, just shortly before 10 pm. With it being kind of late, it was either we go to Target or Walmart (I really don't like Walmart). I am glad that this location currently closes at 11 pm on weekdays. Since we came in rather late, it was pretty quiet for the most part. But I was still able to find an employee when I needed to look for a particular item in the beauty section. This employee was helpful at trying to help me find this item but unfortunately Target just didn't carry it. She apologized and did suggest other stores when I may be able to find what I was looking for. At the register, this employee was friendly and helpful at taking care of our transaction. Since I had paid with a gift card, she was sure to show me where I could see the remaining balance on the receipt. For the most part, my shopping experience was just fine. Employees were friendly and the layout was similar to other Target store locations. There is a Starbucks inside and the dollar spot just like the other Targets. Blue cart wipes were available by the entrance and the free WiFi was just fine to get onto (in case you wanted to redeem coupons through the Target app). If I live in this area, I would come back.

Great customer service. I had help looking for the ottoman to match the upholster chair that I got. And I got helped to my car, it's the first target I've been to that I didn't have 15-30min in line just to get out. And they greet you right when you walked in which was different for me not sure if they do this all the time. Whoever it was that help me today thank you she was AWESOME

I guess they don't give employees a discount on belts.

Things are often priced incorrectly. Service isn't good outside of a few exceptional staff members. Can you just please price things right

Worst fake Black Friday sale. 20% off sale event is really just a voucher for 20% off your purchase later. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!

This place can be described as a very expensive upscale flea market. It also reminds me of Anthropologie's home products. If anything, it may be a little bit more pricey than Anthropologie though. Since it is an independent shop, things here are so special and there is something special about purchasing things that you have to go in-store for and cannot be purchased or viewed online. I loved the selection of textiles, the dishes, the apothecary items, and the unique trinkets. While I know that I could certainly not afford to outfit my house with things in here, there were plenty of things that would make thoughtful and unique gifts for friends, or occasional splurges for yourself (there were a few blankets that I LOVED). The style is just my cup of tea- a mixture of vintage and modern. Stop in, and I'm sure you will find at least a few things that you love!

Whether it's an accent piece for the bedroom or bathroom, new linen napkins for the dining table or furniture - there's so much to see. The quality is incredible and the prices are fair. The best thing I found (at least on this visit) are the Albert & Dash rugs! They are wonderfully made in beautiful colors. I cannot get enough of them. I want to fo back for more. This store is a great place to shop for fine things.

It's right on 9th near The National - FYI, 9th is a one way street so you may have to go up 10th for a block and loop back around. The name on the door is "BC Modern Furniture" and they're open Fri-Sun from 10-4. In addition, they run estate sales and host one day flea markets so check their website for upcoming events and sales. If you visit the store, know that it's mostly mid-century furniture with some same era collectables thrown in. It's not a huge place but it's very, very well curated. This is some of the nicest looking vintage furniture I've seen in town - lots of sideboards, dressers, end tables and some truly glorious sofas. Prices are commensurate with the quality - a big 2 piece sectional sofa with immaculate original upholstery was in the $600 range. That said, they're willing to negotiate so if you see something you love, have the conversation. The Mister grabbed a fun Maifest stein and a vintage German decor mag from 1964 for $10, so we left happy. They are adding things all the time so if you're trying to up the hipster cachet on your sweet Bay View bungalow definitely check them out.
