I always appreciate this TJ Maxx location for its convenience and selection. Generally, the store is clean and organized and they recently finished a remodel in the beauty care section to add more shelves for even more products. I always appreciate the clearance aisle for a few extra bucks off something. Even if I'm not looking for anything at any given time, I tend to find a deal or steal just about every time I go. Just recently found eco-friendly laundry items on clearance! Aside from the line sometimes being a bit longer/slower, the staff seemed friendly and helpful. read more

While I understand that it was the Christmas season and it was busy, the length of time it took to get someone to assist us with unlocking and purchasing a purse was a lousy experience from start to finish. When we finally were able to get someone's attention at the jewelry counter, her greeting was, "Did you guys need something?" That was followed by a mad scramble for the keys which may or may not have been locked inside the cash register (spoiler alert: they were) and a handoff to someone else to unlock the purse. Given that this was all we were purchasing and the wait, you would think that we could have completed the transaction at the jewelry counter. You would be wrong. The purse was brought up to the front and we had to wait in line again for the privilege of purchasing the $100 item. The cashier spent more time gawking at other customers than focusing on completing the sale (I wish I had taken a video of him trying to get this large purse into a small bag--who says millennials give up right away? This guy was at it for a good 90 seconds!). I really wish Nordstrom Rack had been more competitive in price, the service here couldn't have gotten much worse! read more

Saw this tj maxx in passing by and decided to stop they had cute items and i found some really nice deals on a few tops and candles. Their jewelry selection was nice, this is a clean and organized tj maxx which is a plus for me makes it easier to find items. Lot of shoes and beddings, i was able to find deep pocket sheets which are usually a little hard to come across with a good price. This is our closest TJ's and although it's a smaller sized store, it can always be counted on to have lots of goodies to browse. They really beef up the merchandise around Christmas, with tons of giftable items and we love to shop here first for inexpensive gifts for friends. Everything is always well organized in this location, except maybe the home items on the clearance shelves in the back. Be careful not to knock anything over inadvertently. The employees I've come across here are always on a mission and aren't necessarily ready to help you or answer questions. The place can be hopping at times, so be ready to wait in line but the check out clerks are usually friendly and quick - which goes a long way for me! read more

This is a new TJ Maxx location and it's "decent" - the Brookfield location on Bluemound is better, IMO. The store itself is on the smaller side for a TJ Maxx, meaning there's less to pick from. They do have a smattering of everything - clothing, some shoes and a small housewares section. Again, the departments are smaller than other locations so don't expect tons of choice. For now, this location is clean, fresh and relatively organized. The merchandise quality was fairly poor - lots of junk with a few "Calvin Klein" shirts from 2 seasons ago thrown in there. If you're looking to do some discount shopping, Nordstrom Rack is generally better in terms of selection and quality and the prices are not much different. read more

You would think that, being a new store in a new strip mall, this location would be a change from all other TJ Maxx stores. Well, you would be wrong. It is exactly the same, but maybe a little better lit. While the areas are all pretty well defined, handbags, home goods, clothing by gender and age group, they are not set up in a neat nor pleasing to the eye manner. The clothes looked like they were from 20 years ago. There were purses from big name designers, but those too, were styles from eons ago. I saw Christmas stuff, so I headed over that way.....hard to see what was what because everything was so crammed together on the shelves AND the floor. As I passed other aisles, I noticed the same thing: every shelf just crammed with stuff. No thanks, I'm not going to chance pulling one thing off a shelf and have an avalanche of stuff come showering onto me. This is exactly why I haven't been in this type of store in 15 years. Small. Outdated (and overpriced for how old!) - May be "seconds because all brands' sizing are off - especially for the area which is thriving. Inventory is several or more years older than other stores (especially compared to those on the West Coast but even locally). I have to admit, the employees are not very friendly either. Customers speed through the entire strip mall parking lot like they are still on the freeway so watch your kids. The stars are for convenience of location, not hours. read more

The lady in the dressing room is a B*TCH! I walked in with a few pairs of pants and a shirt- I left the clothes in the dressing room absentmindedly, and she CHASED after me and MADE ME get the clothes and give them to her. "Ma'am! Ma'am! Where did the clothes you had go?" "Umm... theyre the dressing room?" "You NEED to go get them." Absolutely ridiculous. Store is so unorganized too. Avoid the mayfair collection. This store is very clean! I'm used to stores like this being very disorganized & disheveled. This is not the case at this TJ Maxx. Everything seemed very organized. The clothing was all arranged fairly neatly. Even the shoes & handbags were displayed in an orderly fashion. I cam here looking for athletic stuff. I found some really good buys! I got a pair of Sketchers tennis shoes for $39.99. Then I added a six pair of socks for $4.00. And on my way to the checkout, I spotted some cute ladies Green Bay Packer shirts. $9.99 for a Packers Tshirt. The checkout is very quick and efficient! First of all, they have several cashier lanes open, so you don't have to wait forever. As soon as an associate becomes available, an electronic voice announces that the next customer may step up to Lane 5, for example. The checkout process goes really fast! It's impressive! read more

Yep, It's another TJ Maxx. Because it's in the new Mayfair Collection "fashion mall", it's 30% more organized than any other TJ Maxx. Do you really think it'll stay that way for long? I don't. What you will find here: 1. Random out of season, out of style clothes 2. Random luggage pieces, 3. Miscellaneous housewares, 4. Weird dry-good foods (who would ever buy this stuff here?) 5. Shoppers who inspect every item on the shelf, yet buy nothing. In short, you will find exactly the same here as every other TJ Maxx. I was impressed with the very friendly employees here; that's something I've never experienced at the other stores. If your wife has time time to kill and is looking for a rando piece of kitchenware, chances are you will get dragged here. It could be worse. You could get dragged through a Burlington Coat Factory. read more

We found some great brands here with great values. I am a huge fan of BLISS soap products and they carried them here at exact 1/2 the price I pay online! I am sure it is hit or miss with what you can find, but it it def worth a scouting trip to see what they have. read more

Everyone knows I love,love,love,love TJMaxx, so I couldn't wait to go and check this new location and also I love the hunt and digging aspect of shopping at any TJMaxx. This store moved from 124th and Capitol. This location is much smaller than the previous location,all the departments are relatively small. I miss the previous location, there was nothing on clearance since the store just opened. It's still a nice store, and they're open early on Sundays. read more

I frequently visit TJ Maxx in Northern California (where I live) and the stores there are pretty good, though kind of "picked over." I visited this TJ Maxx while visiting my brothers in the Wauwatosa area. Wow! I was so impressed with selections and quantity of stock at this store. I've never seen such a nice TJ Maxx! The staff was very nice and helpful, too. I recommend it highly. (It's in the same shopping center as Off Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom Rack. Bonus location!!!) read more

This TJ Maxx is so much better than any other that I've seen in the Milwaukee area. It Is newly opened in a strip mall however it's really fun to shop. They didn't seem to have a lot of product compared to other stores. Finding the right size was difficult. It's all about the bargains. read more

By far the worst store i have ever been to. They falsely advertised their product and started yelling at me in front of all of the other customers there. It was embarrassing and started accusing us of stealing. Like what the hell kind of customer service is this?? The lady who checked us out was so rude and was embarrassing. Her coworkers were embarrassed and the manager looked ridiculous just standing there not helping the situation at all!!!
