I don't like to give bad reviews, but i feel like this could have been made right and no one is helping. Sorry to put this on the store site. But this goes to rate the company overall. I signed up for att service through Target. I was told I would get statement credits for paying the activation fees up front, discounted lines and reimbursement for the payoff of my devices (turns out it was only for my phone not my tablet). In the form of a visa gift card. Went online and submitted the information for the reward in the form of a screen shot because I didn't get paper statements. They declined to reimburse because they didn't like the submission format. So I had to call my old provider and sit on the line for an hour and request a paper statement by mail. Once I received it, I went back to their submission site and it kept telling me I could not submit because I had already submitted. I replied to their email, there was no response. So I called. Turned out I needed to go to an alternative website to submit. The person on the phone was really nice and walked me through the resubmission process where I uploaded all 5 pages of my bill. This was all still within their 60 day required time frame. After I submitted the page said to wait 6-8 weeks to get my card. The other day I realized I had not gotten my visa gift card. So I went into my email to search for information and there was no record of anything. I call in and ask what's up and after 2 phones calls, 4 employees, 1 manager and a hour and 15 minutes of my time they tell me I'm SOL because their system failed. That there is NO ONE, that can make this right. Even if there was no record, how would I know i had to go to a special website for resubmission of my firms unless I had actually done it? Furthermore, the reimbursement of the activation fees only came after I called them back and reminded them. If I wasn't paying attention they would I shorted me that. So I was supposed to get $150 back for paying off my phone and they now refused. This stinks like a scam to me. I do not recommend switching. Oh yes, when I asked to talk to someone higher up I was told there was no one else higher up to talk to me. What a shame. read more

This is my go-to Target, and I review based on my experiences at otherTargets. This one is clean, and there is usually a worker somewhere near to ask a question. Selection is good. I don't treat it like a full grocery store, so I don't expect them to have all the grocery options. This one has a lot compared to other Targets, though, which is nice when you need to grab something and don't want to go to another store. They usually have a couple choices for the grocery items we need, and many more choices in other departments. This store is clean and well-kept, which is not true at other targets nearby. The Starbucks workers are always really nice and helpful here, too. The prices are fine. read more

September 28, 2023 This is one of the two closest Targets to work and I haven't really ever been here so I thought I would pop in, get the things I needed, and see if I like it better than the store on 124th & Capitol. While definitely brighter and newer than the Wauwatosa store, but the same issues that the other Targets are facing is just as prevalent here: Employees do not talk to "guests." They go about their work and do not interact with anyone outside of the other employees. One of the things that I needed was some lunch meat for sandwiches. When I went into that aisle, there were two employees talking and paid no attention to me, it was like I was the main character in "The Sixth Sense." I think this explains why Target will always struggle against Walmart; they don't have the pricing power to compete there and if the customer service isn't any better... read more

The extreme LACK of choice is mind boggling! No organic food. The same style of item 2 choices, both Target brands?? Fake housewares, all veneer cheap stuff that lasts 6 months. I suffer from Multiple sclerosis and walking for long periods of time causes a lot of pain. I was using the mobility scooter so I would be able to actually go around the store and enjoy it.The security proceeded to follow me and tell me to get off, when I brought up my hidden disability he said that I walked in fine. I really enjoy this target and I shop here a lot but this security guard really ruined my experience and I wasn't even able to shop because I couldn't use the mobility scooter. read more

absolutely abysmal. the curbside pickup is a disgrace. I live in Brookfield and refuse to give any more business to this location. go to the New Berlin one instead- phenomenal service. be advised that if you do curbside at this location, you will wait 10 mins on average, even if you're the only car there for pickup. they purposely wait until they have 5-7 cars waiting, THEN come out( and even then, all 7 cars are waiting for an additional 5 minutes on top of the 10 mins you've been there. the associates are incredibly rude, inept and lazy. inside the store isn't much better,quite honestly. read more

Loved coming to this Target. First time being here and the customer service was great! They didn't have my size in a couple of outfits but they still had a good selection. I got a perfect shirt for my birthday outfit and the staff was helpful with opinions and letting me try on my clothes. How have I not yet reviewed this Target? It's "my" Target - the closest to home, the cleanest, the most well organized AND located mere feet from Trader Joe's. No matter how popular a sale item is, they're rarely out of stock. The grocery section generally fills our frozen/cereal needs in between trips to Woodmans. They sell wine. Crappy grocery store wine, but, hey - it's wine. It'll get you drunk. Employees here seem to be more visible and willing to help than other locations. My final thought: can anyone, anyone at all, explain to me why I go into Target for 3 items and leave with a cart full of stuff and a $200 receipt? It's like a weird spending vortex in there that's I'm unable to escape from. Do I need 400 rolls of triple-size TP for a household of two? No, but it's such a good deal.... read more

Stocking stuffer desks right by the door. This is something I really enjoy about target there selections by the door. You can find really cool things for home, gift or whatever they have in that section on that day or time. And the $1, $3, $5 deals are so good you can't pass them up. I didn't even walk around this target spent my time there then hop in the line because I had an orthodontist appointment. They had really nice Christmas stocking that kids could color which was nice, cute Christmas card stamps a long WITH cool decorations. read more

After several "customer surveys", and the common pandemic excuses, all you get is a lot of cheap talk from some local area management. While they promise to do better they really haven't. I like this Target because they have my Nature Valley coconut butter biscuits here and usually the wait in line is not too long either. One of my 2 favorite Target stores! First, it doesn't hurt that it's right by Trader Joes. Second, I like the parking lot. It seems that there are no bad parking spots. That might be untrue when there is snow on the ground, however. This store is spacious, well laid out, bright and clean. I come here for stuff, not food, meds or Starbucks, and they are always well stocked. I normally wouldn't give a big chain "department" store a 5 star but this Target deserves it. I drive all the way across town to visit this store, because this is my favorite Target.... like most favorite ever!! I actually started shopping Target again due to this location, which is always clean and organized. Sales associates are easy to find, helpful, and friendly. There is always plentiful cashiers so lines are not very long and move quickly. Great sales and shelves are fully stocked. Other customers are also friendly - not like I have experienced at other Milwaukee locations.... Despite the current fraud debacle, I continue to visit this location as needed. I just wish they had an awesome store like this closer to the East Side!! read more

I have to be honest, I don't patronize Target stores very often because their locations are inconvenient for me. I only happened to stop in here because I passed it on my route home from a non-productive day of errands. Everyplace I went today was a bust... either they were out of what I wanted or no longer carried the item. I guess that's what happens when you're shopping the week after Black Friday! Of course, I searched my phone for other places to look but they were spread all over town and I just wasn't in the mood to be hauling my butt halfway to Hell and back. I had picked up my dinner at Panda Express and thought I'd make it home while my meal was still warm. Well, this stop made it worthwhile to have to put it in the microwave later! Target didn't have all the things I was seeking, some are more specialty type goods, but I was able to eliminate a portion of my list. Target is a funny (odd) store. It really hasn't changed much since I was a kid... I'm 50 now, you do the math... except for some of the décor. They still carry the same products, only modernized. I find their grocery department to be competitive with Wal-Mart. Their selection of clothing, though displayed more attractively than other stores of this caliber, isn't the worst but not the best either. I'd recommend them highly for kid's clothes that you don't really care about. The electronics department seems to have a decent inventory on hand and the associates in that area are very knowledgeable about the products... not to mention they have the big name brands and reasonable (competitive) prices. I still won't go out of my way just to go to Target but I'll certainly keep them in mind. read more

Normally, Target stores don't impress me very much. After spending a few years going to the Target store on 124th and Capitol Drive, I'd gotten used to the chaotic and unkempt aisles, the constant shuffling and bumping of people, screaming kids, etc. It's just what happens in a Target. I still keep going back though. Where else am I going to get my discounted items? So, imagine my joy to hear a brand new Target had opened by me, literally right down the street! We no longer have to hike across town to get our discounted items. This particular Target is still brand spankin' new - well put together, and it's a Target Grocery store, as well. The layout of the store is similar to 'updated' Targets in the area, but still very easy to navigate. The prices are competitive with the local PNS, and I find myself coming here to get better pricing on some of the basic stuff - bread, rice, dry goods, etc. Most of all the employees are very helpful, and friendly - something I haven't encountered at all the Targets I've been to in the past few years. So, I will continue to shop here, mainly because it's so close to home, but also because the people here are friendly and are quick to offer their help. Thanks, Target! read more

i'm at target more often than i'd like to admit, but don't shop at this location often. i recently ordered an item online for in store pick up because the target i usually shop at was out of the item. i did in store pick up because i didn't have much time to get home before my s/o left for work with our shared car. when i got there i waited in the line at customer service, 2nd in line, but when i was next i moved over to an empty line that was for in store pick ups; assuming the line i first stood in was for returns and whatnot. the customer who was being helped at that register was definitely not there for in store pick up but i didn't realize till i'd moved. it honestly looked like she was just being rung up at CS but i could be wrong. either way, that has nothing to do with my complaint. the other 2 registers were opened and moving a lot more quickly than the "in store pick up" line. i was highly annoyed because i stood there and watched the two customers who were behind me in the first line i was in, were also in line for in store pick up; though neither of those two employees acknowledged me standing there as they helped multiple other customers. i waited with my two toddlers as about 4 or 5 other customers, who all got in line after me, were taken care of before one of those two employees finally called me to their register. if they were doing in store pick ups also, why could they not call me from the other line? or at the very least even acknowledge me and let me know that one of them will assist me momentarily? maybe i was just having a bad day but this incident irritated the hell out of me read more

This store hits the mark, er, Target. Everytime I've been, I have encountered really nice employees. It's a newer store so it's clean and decently laid out. In terms of big box stores, I dig this one. There's also a Trader Joe's in the parking lot, and that's just a bonus. read more

I normally love Target, but free last night that changed. The cashier we had was rude and worse yet actually told us she was sick of customers always getting in her line. Okay I can relate to feeling that way. Difference between me and her is I don't ever say that out loud. On top of that her pants were falling off and her nasty, dirty panties were hanging out. It doesn't inspire you to want to ever shop here again. The rest of the reviews seem to indicate this is not the norm here. I'm going to give it another try when I'm back in WI. I used to shop at Target until I found out that they do not hire people with disabilities, whereas Walmart is an equal employment opportunity employer-by choice. Many studies have shown that people with disabilities take less absent days, and that they are more likely to stay on the job longer than non-disabled workers. As other Yelp reviewers have stated, many of these young employees at Target Brookfield lack any motivation or work ethic, plus they're plain lazy at times to find out any information. Totally agree! Would you rather hire a hard worker with a disability, be it physical or cognitive or would you rather hire someone who doesn't have a disability, but has no work ethic. I frequent Target about once a month and have noted at how friendly and helpful the employees are. They will greet you, help. smile, the whole nine yards. I so appreciate this! I know customers can be a pain but this staff really keep a stiff upper lip and are super! I witnessed a customer being an absolute jerk to a cashier and the cashier handled this with grace and professionalism. The front end manager was by her side and she too maintained her cool and handled this creep with poise. I so wanted to hug them both for having to listen to his toxic words. This store is the closest to me and I have been going here for years. I love strolling through the aisles with or without my kiddos along. Who doesn't love to grab a coffee and take a stroll through aisles. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with one of their employees who I have seen working there for a while. When I questioned if there was an error in the price of something when it was rung up, instead of helping explain to me the issue and confusion he said to me "I know this is right because of this barcode, the bar code tells us how much it costs". I have to say that before we got to this point he gave the distinct impression that he didn't believe the price was wrong and it was my error for questioning it at all. It was a very disappointing experience and I will be going out of my way to make sure I go to a regular checkout, as this employee is always exclusively at the self checkout. His treatment of me and his condescending behavior in front of my 8 year old daughter has tainted me on this location for now. read more

It still has that new Target smell! Of all of the Targets in town, this one is the nicest. It's the cleanest, most organized and has the nicest employees. I also prefer this one because it has, and how do I say this with all politically correctness, a "higher class" of Target shoppers. Not too many little kids hopped up on Fruity Pebbles and Moutain Dew left to run wild in the toy section. Even the suburban moms tend to care about what they look like here; only the classiest looking track suits and yoga pants here! And even on the weekends, it's never that crowded. As far as the goods sold here, it's the same as the rest. Same 4 for $12 soda, same 48 rolls of TP for 15.99, same 11.99 Tide. The shelves here always seem to be well stocked and very organized. I never leave here feeling dirty and I never half-expect my car to be broken into. With three Targets about the same distance from my house, this is the one we shop at now. read more

This Target is centrally located, generally clean, and usually well-stocked. With a Trader Joe's nearby and other nice options nice n' close, I frequently find myself headed to Brookfield to complete my afternoon shopping here. There's nothing like a new Target! Like most Targets the place is clean and everything is easy to find even though each store has it's own layout. I like this location more than most because the lot isn't that full and it's easy to get in and out of as opposed to others like Capitol/124th. read more

No one came to help me when I asked where things are, no one could tell me the price of certain items. I was very disappointed in the customer service I felt like as a buyer my options, questions and concerns weren't mattered. I do not go to target anyone unless it is the only department store Available. I tend to more go to Walmart. Better customer service than target! Please change your customer service and the way your employees are it's honestly a shame and my expectations I guess were to much for a store to handle. It's very sad and I'm not too happy with how my experience was and so now I'm asking You to improve your company! There are no clean bathrooms they are gross and smell terrible. The parking lot is horrible and no one Comes To gets stray carts and people's car always almost hit a card and Dana get the property of target or our cars get damaged. The prices are More expansive than the leading competitors like Walmart, or Costco or Sams club. No one can help you in the technology department or women's department and the baby department is very confusing as far as what the price is, what's on sale and what is available. The website could also be improved only and updated more frequently. We don't shop here because of the fact that there is no order or clue on what is going on and that the staff is dysfunctional in every way, shape, and form!
