This is a long overdue review. When my husband and I were in the early stages of building our new home, the designers at Warren Barnett went above and beyond in helping us with decisions that would impact the overall interior design. They helped us focus on details that we had not considered to ensure a cohesive home...flowing from one room to another. The designers have a keen eye for the big picture. They have taken the time to understand what we want to accomplish to make our new home a warm, inviting and comfortable home, reflecting who we are. We lived out of state when we were designing and building our home. We feel so lucky that we found such a talented and caring group of people to help us. What a treat when the furniture arrived! They asked us to stay away so they could set it up and attend to every detail. They brought in amazing smaller pieces to pull everything together. Then when they were done, they brought us in to see and absorb every room! Just like the big reveals on tv shows! Bottom line is, we love our home and truly appreciate the attention to detail and vision the designers had. We also appreciate that they pushed us out of our comfort zones at times, knowing what the end result would be and that we would love it. The Warren Barnett showroom is beautiful, with a wide variety of styles. We love that it is a local and family owned store. We have observed how supportive the interactions among the designers are. I am extremely pleased with the quality and service offered by the designer at Warren Barnett Interiors. I met Mary Lewandowski as I was browsing through the store and explained that I wanted to upgrade my 1990's living room space but stay within my budget. She was an extremely good listener and asked pertinent questions about the function of the room and my taste in interiors. She asked about my home structure (year built) and decor in other rooms. I had seen a large chest and area rug at the store that I wanted but didn't know if they would complement the decor. Mary offered to come to my home and bring samples to determine if they would be a good fit. There, she shared information about space and lighting plus color for my walls. She even moved throughout my home and made recommendations (painting, lighting,re-arranging items, etc.) so that the space flowed from room to room. She encouraged me to think about her comments and did not pressure me to make a decision or to purchase anything right away. I really appreciated her style because of her genuine interest that I was pleased with the end result. We love WB! We have worked with Mary for over 3 years now - and we keep coming back! Every chance I have to spend time in the store with her, I can always find unique pieces... and if it's not in the store, she is very helpful and knowledgable with all of the designers they carry to find it. Recently, we built a home and had Mary space plan and outfit almost all of our rooms. She simply has impeccable taste - all of the fabrics, scale and functionality of the items we purchased were exactly what we were looking for and within our budget. We receive nothing but compliments from those who visit our home. I have to say that furniture stores with quality items such as the pieces in WB aren't easily found in the Milwaukee area. They have always treated me well, given me all of the time in the world and truly worked WITH me to get the look I was after. I have been a customer at Warren Barnett since back in the day when they were Thomasville Furniture. Over the years I have bought many things from furniture to accessories. I have been very pleased with all my purchases although sometimes the wait can get long. So, don't be in a rush if you are looking for furniture. The delivery has always been smooth, the guys are very conscientious. My favorite part about the store is the designer I was fortunate enough to work with. Janet Rowe is a real pro. She listens to what you are looking for and does not try to oversell. She covers all bases from color to style. I have developed a wonderful relationship with her over the years. I can 100% trust her judgement on all of my decorating needs from inside my house to out. She is particularly an expert with colors. I get so many compliments on my decor and I owe it all to Janet.
