Date of visit: April 23, 2025…read more When we popped in here, I realized that despite how long the store has been here (in this old Best Buy location), I hadn't ever set foot inside, which is bizarre given my love of TJ Maxx and their frankly kind of odd combination of stores. Never understood the difference between TJ Maxx and Marshall's, but that's a discussion for another day. Even though the store is no longer what I would refer to as "new," it was still very bright and clean. Yes, some of the displays were a bit TJ Maxxish in their clutter and organization, but that was the exception, not the rule. We found some great gifts at decent prices, and loved that there was a rare combo to end the transaction: No line and a friendly cashier; when's the last time those two things came together in a single transaction? Glad that I stopped in and will definitely make sure to head over after my next Costco run.

The used to have kids books by toys, which was nice, but now it is in the checkout area, and twice I brought my daughter but had to redirect her as I didn't want the shelf to collapse on her. Perhaps management can get creative about making it safer for customers. Also, I will say the location is convenient to freeway and other shopping locations in the same parking lot; there are lots of parking spots.

I confess to being somewhat of a retail snob. I like great service and even better merchandise…read more Given that attitude, you might guess I'd have a different rating for this well know retailer. Well, we'd both be underestimating this store. Before Christmas I needed a red dinner jacket to play an updated Santa. I found nothing at any other retailer here or in Chicago. Until I tried Men's Wearhouse. The really helpful staff showed me just what I needed. While they didn't have my size in stock, they did have my size in a different color so I could avoid ordering the wrong fit. Then when ringing it up, we discovered that it was going on sale the next day. They gave me the lower price and had it delivered to my home in 4 days.

I was called down to try on the suit, they had me try on someone else's tux and then told that they didn't have my info and had to re-measure me. I was late returning the suit as they were closed by the time I tried to return the next day; I will own that one. When I asked to wave late fee, due to the difficulty of needing to come down three separate times for measurement, they would not. Not once was accountability for the lack of organization taken, but rather displacement of fault; I will never go back there nor would I recommend this particular location to anyone. I would never had written this review if the manager would have been accountable for what happened and apologized. Wow, I just can't even.
