Dressing room employee working 4/11/19 around 8pm has zero customer service skills. I walked up to the counter of the dressing room and there was one employee to the left organizing clothes, another one behind me organizing clothes, and another one in the middle aisle of the dressing rooms. I have been coming to this target for 10+ years and you have always had to wait for an employee to check how many items you have and give you a plastic card. So I stood waiting until the one in the aisle walked up to the desk. She ignored me and proceeded to take a huge handful of clothes on hangers and closely inspect each piece before putting it on a rack. Meanwhile, I stand there for 3+ minutes before I finally ask her "are the dressing rooms unlocked" and she doesn't even look up from the clothing rack and is just waving her hand back at me. So I go find an empty dressing room which has about 30 pieces of clothes on the hooks and the stool. Nowhere to put your items at all. I check 2 other dressing rooms and same thing. Clothes on every hook, all over the ground, a complete mess. So I try on my one item and I open the dressing room door to leave and the lady has blocked me in with a cart. So I say excuse me and she looks up at me then goes into another dressing room. So I push my way out of this dressing room and just leave. This store is a disaster. I went through the shoe aisle and my cart wheels were constantly getting stuck because there were shoes all over the ground in the aisle. I tried to get a pair of sandals but the rack was a mess with sandals broken apart hanging all over the place in no particular order making it impossible to try to find a size. I don't know what the problem is here but this store is disgusting. And this was on a Thursday and the store was pretty empty. I can't even imagine this place on a busy weekend. read more

This store is dirty and disgusting. They have the nerve to keep expired products in the grocery area. I bought Blueberry Chobani yogart, today Jan. 11th thinking it was ok, I got home and opened one of the containers, it was watery and looked currdled. I then noticed the exp date of Dec. 18!! Just pure laziness not removing exp products. I'll never shop at Target again. I should of know better and went to the real grocery store. read more

Of course for any store there are the good, the bad, and the extremely bad. This particular Target is not a good store or bad store. It is, hopefully, the worst one that they have. It is Target, so you know what to expect with the products--decent selection and prices. What you don't expect are the horrific employees, your jaw drops and you just can't believe these people work in retail. Typically the blame for that falls squarely on the shoulders of management. But you have to wonder--is there any management? I think that it is entirely possible that the asylum is allowed to run itself. Do not expect a single "Do you need help finding anything?" because you will not get a single one. Tonight I stepped up to a cashier with my purchases, only to be told that his line was closed. I went to the self-checkout, which I hate. As I was exiting, I saw that he was still processing customers! Yes that actually happened!!! Am I furious? Yes! Am I surprised? No! I would like to commend a young lady who is an employee of Target Long Beach-Bellflower; her name is Brenda. She went out of her way to help find what I was looking for. The product I wanted was not on the shelve however she located it in the storage room. She went to get it not realizing it weighed a ton (seems like it); it was a box of Large Duraflame logs. While I was waiting for her I thought she would have gotten a muscle man to help her, but no, she carried it all by herself. I comment Brenda! I do love Target; however with their recent remodel I was hoping their dollar spot was better. I have to drive 20 minutes away to the Cerritos Target to get my dollar spot goodies. Also, very bummed that the cafe is gone. I used to always get popcorn and a soda or Icee to eat while shopping. The Starbucks is very small so when you wait in line, you are in the way of people trying to leave. Also the Starbucks employees must be brand new because their drinks suck. I have to walk to the one across the street for a better made drink. Last thing, more lines should be open. I've always had to wait. read more

Let's face it, most of the items sold in Target stores are all the same. THe differences show in other ways. This particular target is located in a convenient plaza w/ a trader joe's, a drug store, gas station, mcd's, and relaly close to other places you might need to stop at when you're out running errands. It's easy to get to and has a good sized parking lot. Items are kept in stock most of hte time and you don't have empty shelves syndrom - so you can find what you need most of the time. If you live in the neighborhood behind it, even better commute time! read more

My five stars are not necessarily for Target, but rather, for a particular employee. I like Target as much as the next person, but don't frequent it as much. There are other stores that I go to on a regular basis. Flashback to last Father's day. My daughter wanted to give a nice framed image to her dad. (Things are touchy between her father and I so I needed this to go smoothly). I found the perfect pics and uploaded them to the website, then waited an hour to pick it up at Target, and do some light shopping. When I got there, I was told by one attendant that the site was down and my pics weren't going to be printed. This was ON Father's day, and there were plenty of other people also working on their pics. I think my wide eyes and impending frustration was sensed by a particular employee, Susanne (or Susana). Before I could say anything, she brought me over to a kiosk, then she downloaded an app on my phone. We located the pictures and she proceeded to order them from the Kiosk and they were printed out immediately. All this took a total of five minutes, in a crowded Target. I didn't even have time to get frustrated at the online situation, as the pics were already in my hand! Susanne was smiling the whole time, and we were chatting while she was working on my stuff. She totally knew what she was doing and was so pleasant, so as she was working, I was calming down. Love this girl! I will ALWAYS go to Target, at least for my pictures. Very very poor customer service. No one knows where anything is. The one guy who did help me was calling someone and she did NOT want to walk her ass over and help. She was trying to field the problem through questions over the walkie. I could hear everything she said including the fact that she was being bothered. Sorry to make you work lady. Used to be I would never leave target without buying something, but, after visiting this location twice and not finding any shorts in the size/color I like either time (maybe due to the haphazard organization where the same clothing items are strewn across half the department racks...maybe because they were out) I'm going to have to find another place to shop. read more

Usually go to Target AT LEAST once a week ;) But one of the only bad things about moving to Long Beach is having to go to this Target. Been to many Targets, but this one is prob my least favorite. Many times I've had very rude people help me in both the returns and when checking out. Clearly they don't want to be there. They have no sense of urgency or quality customer service. read more

Height of shopping season and I just spent 2 hours at target walked away from the cart to look at potential gifts 8 feet away and an employee took my cart and returned everything, did not even ask if anyone was using a full cart of gifts. Is close and convenient, so it gets 3 stars....this particular location has gotten cleaner and nicer and is still way better than Wally World. This Target location is great! I've visited this location multiple times. This Target does offer a private lot making it easy for you to find parking. Upon entrance, the Target seems to be well maintained. There is usually a good amount of staff around if you need to be directed somewhere. Items look properly placed and neatly organized. For some reason, it does feel slightly cold when coming here during evenings as if the air conditioning was running all day. The checkout process is a hit or miss depending on whose in front of you. Most of the time there is a good amount of cashiers and they do a great job of effectively clearing lines. Overall a great Target location to return to! read more

This Target is a product of its neighborhood. It's a bit run down, the check-stands are outdated and they don't seem to staff appropriately. There is always someone directly outside the exit soliciting money for some organization. Their selections and shelves are well stocked but I find the unpleasantness of checking out and being solicited as I exit the store enough to travel a little further to the Target in Seal Beach. To the person blaming Target for charging 10 cents a bag (Amy P.) it's not Target policy; it has been a Long Beach city ordinance since mid 2011. Grocery stores (including Target and Wal*Mart) cannot issue plastic bags and are to charge 10 cents a paper bag. It's also an ordinance in Huntington Beach and many other cities in California. read more

Usually I walk over to the sucky Signal Hill Target a couple of blocks from my house because it's so close, but I still go to this one because they have more and better stuff. Okay, they remodeled the Signal Hill Target so it's not quite as ghetto-ey anymore, but this one is still worth the trip. They have the entire Rimmel line here. But it's not as fabulous as the Pasadena Target, either. The last time I went here, though, the service was pretty bad. I don't know if I should blame the holidays, but normally the service is pretty good, especially compared to Walmart. read more

This place is great! Just don't get caught wearing any shade of red top and any type of Khaki bottoms, that's just so embarrassing. If you go to the Lakewood Target they have a cool escalator for the cart . Remember to not put anything too weird in the cart, people are bound to watch it the whole way up and down. read more

Disgusted!!!!! I went to the Long Beach location to purchased a DS Nintendo game early December. The store was out, in fact, the surrounding stores were out-of-stock. So I ordered on-line. Two weeks later, the location had the product in-stock and on sale for $89.00. I paid $99.00, I wanted a the price difference and was told "No" because I ordered on-line. Internet purchases are not subject to price differences enough though, the store locations were out-of-stock and you had to purchase on-line. NEVER AGAIN, This is a dumbass policy. read more

Went to Black Friday, I wanted the 50 inch flat screen TV, I knew if I was going to get one I was going to need to be there early, and I was #2 in line but I knew I was going to need to sit outside and there I sat from Wednesday night at 10:00pm, the staff was very friendly, kept everything under control, came out out answered questions. I've never had a bad experience at target until today. I came into buy collectible pops for my friends and was told that I could only purchase one of the Bullseye collectible because they only had six. I thought the point of having a store was to sale things and push sells. Plus, there no sign or ads stating these a head of time, this is bullshit.
