To those frustrated about needing a mask to go in to the store, it is now required by law. That is in no way Targets fault and I understand the frustration of not being able to buy one because you can't go in BUT you can do drive up orders which does not require you to have a mask and you can still buy everything on your list. These employees are working hard to make sure all of us have what we need and yes at times I have experienced not the most amazing customer service but given the circumstances I understand it. I like shopping at this location. Store is functional, clean, has good variety of products and lines are usually not an issue there. The only improvement needed is that employees do not greet you except for some of the cashiers. Staff at the return item department are sometimes cranky ( especially the lady with blond hair and glasses) and the employees that walk around the store usually dislike being asked for information. Electronic department also needs to pay more attention to customers awaiting for help. Overall my experience there is good. It could be greater if improvement is implemented sooner than later. read more

I really like C9 line for womens' athletic wear. Quality! The prices at Target are more than reasonable, especially when I'm lucky enough to catch something on sale. I always walk out of the store with more than what I came in for. Is that good or bad? : | I love that the employees will always offer to show you where you can find the thing you are looking for. I've never run into a rude employee here! Whenever someone is helpful, I try to take the time to ask for and speak with a manager to let them know the name of the employee. I don't like the "kiosk" thing where you complete a survey on your receipt. I tried once, don't even bother anymore. I wish Target gave the option of completing it online at one's computer, at one's convenience. Even snail mail would be better than at that kiosk thing. I would like the opportunity to document "kudos" to the helpful employees who stop what they are doing and go out of their way for me. Which is pretty much ALL of them. But still. Cashiers are unique =) , methodical, consistently friendly, and genuinely nice. They may seem "slow" to get the ol' line moving but I prefer cashiers that are more concerned with accuracy and excellence than speediness. Don't even bother trying to order Drive-Up at this location. Without fail, I guarantee you they will cancel at least one of your items every time you order. Their capability to update their inventory is nonexistent. You also won't find out your items are gone until the rest of your order is ready, so get ready to make a back-up plan for dinner if you plan on buying groceries. A Covid HOTSPOT! I walked in to a security guard not wearing his mask correctly. Not only that, but he was wearing those thin masks that are not approved by the CDC. I went in today to buy some groceries to find that the line and the grocery section was packed like sardines! I couldn't move a foot without someone in my breathing area. I asked an employee if they limit guests but she said that security said it hasn't reached capacity yet. She told me this as the line was all the way to the back of the store! Not only that, but customers are not enforced to wear their masks correctly or even told to wear a mask to begin with. I saw at least 2 grown adults wear their mask at the chin. Who is enforcing the rules the governor told us in order to stay open? C'mon Target! I love you guys but where is the safety for employees and customers? I stopped by Target (Long Beach - N. Bellflower location) to purchase an HDMI cable for the new Apple TV 4K that I had recently purchased. I LOVE TARGET!!!! Who doesn't love target!? They have everything you need here under one roof and it's just always so clean and bright! I like this Bellflower location the most because of how big it is and I am a student at CSULB and live nearby at an apartment and I wouldn't mind driving to this one. The drive isn't that bad, less than 10 mins from my apartment, and traffic is never too heavy. NEW: They added even more self check out stands! Instead of the normal 4-5 stands, there are now over 8! Funny story: I was trying to find pita chips at Ralph's and I got so frustrated I couldn't find them. The next day I went to target for other supplies and needs and I FOUND THE PITA CHIPS AT TARGET. I was very happy when Target began its ship to home feature. I used Target ship to my home three times. Each time I ordered cans of food. Each time I received dented and damaged cans. Those cans did not appear to have been dented and damaged during shipment, and besides, thrice in a row is beyond just chance. Apparently what Target is doing is using its ship to home feature to ship damaged and dented cans to its customers, betting that customers will not take the time and the trouble to return them to the store for a refund. After all, if Target customers wanted to go to a Target store they wouldn't have ordered over the internet. Shop Target if you want. Target has some good bargains, but NEVER buy cans of food from Target using their ship to home feature. Target should either return damaged and dented cans to the manufacturer or otherwise absorb a loss on the goods. Target should not be palming off damaged and dented canned goods to their customers. read more

My expectations?? Isn't it a given that all pharmacists should communicate and not repeatedly prick a 10 year old scared boy with a needle as if he was a pin cushion? She also stated, "We will coach our pharmacists to improve in certain areas". Again, isn't it common medical knowledge to know to communicate and not repeatedly prick a 10 year old scared boy with a needle as if he was a pin cushion? This shouldn't even have to be a conversation. Chloe finished the email saying, ". I would be glad to connect with you over the phone if you have additional thoughts or recommendations. Please respond with the best date, time and phone number to reach you. Thank you for your time and we hope to hear from you soon". I immediately responded to set up a date and time for her to call me, as she stated herself in her email. To no surprise, she did not call or email back. In fact, I sent 4 emails over the course of 4 days to schedule various dates and times for her to call me and absolutely nothing! Now, almost a week and a half after that last email, still nothing. I like to buy useless stuff, especially useless stuff on sale. Therefore, I love Target. This one is close by and I find all the usual stuff that I find in any other Target. Nothing special. This review however, is for their pharmacy department. I put on my jacket, scarf, hat and then strolled around the pharmacy section Kleenex - check vitamin c - check chicken noodle soup - check maxi pads - check (they were on sale) I needed some sleep-inducing over-the-counter cold remedies and asked the pharmacist for some help. She came over took one look and my bundled, sneezing, coughing dripping self and suggested a few items. She was brief, to the point, helpful, and stayed a good distance from me the entire time. The poor man's MACY'S, Target so lovingly dubbed "TAR-ZHEA" has supplied me with endless goodies and knick-knacks. I would say I spent about 37% of my shopping experience here tonight trying to set off the sprinkler system with my mind. After waiting in line for 20 minutes to make a return, I was glibly pointed to the deserted customer service corner by a freak in cargo shorts (which apparently are a great place to store stuff, like your virginity.) I didn't get a single dollar in cash back, and had to have all $26 placed on store credit, when all I really wanted was a fucking burrito somewhere for dinner. AWESOME. I figured I would at least check out the excuse of a 'Cafe' Target had in the front and maybe score a pizza or something. Upon arrival, I found a new Pizza Hut item on the menu, the not-at-all lame version of a pasta bowl that's been eternally plugged on your local cable channels. Maybe this night would be salvaged. I put my order in and alas, they were not serving any Pizza Hut items as they were "uh like, totally out of cheese." o_O I said screw it, as the only thing left to choose from was the Kids Menu, aka a cup of Nacho chips and a hot dog. Thankfully, their grocery section was nicely stocked and I got a steal on most of the items I threw into my cart. The second star is all for the cashier named Cindy, who after already helping her last customer in line, saw me waiting behind 43 kids and their school supplies in the next aisle over and flicked her register light on for one last go. All Targets are not created equal. We have this Target on Bellflower, and the "other" Target on Atlantic and the 405. Clearly they serve a different clientele, so the items in stock are much different. The Bellflower Target has much more trendy items, cuter clothes, better home merchandise, etc etc. I think this is due to the fact that it's near CSULB, so they stock up on things college kids will buy (clothes, furnishings, delicious snacks.) I call the Target on Atlantic, the ghetto Target. It's not so good there. You can figure out why. I hear that the Atlantic Target is closed and they are turning it into a Target Greatland. In my experience these Target super-centers are the exact same stores, just more spread out. There isn't more stuff, just takes longer to walk my fat ass from the alarm clock section to the DVD department. So, we'll see how this pans out. Maybe they will class it up a bit. Nonetheless, even Ghetto Target is better than Wal-mart. Ooh and stop by the snack bar for some popcorn. Delicious. read more

Here's a story of how I lost & found my Iphone! The customer service and security people are awesome & cute! Today I lost my iphone. I realized I left it in the shoe section after like ten minutes, I went back and it wasn't there. I called it with my friends phone and it was off. The person who took it really knew what they were doing since they know I could track it if it was on. I went to customer service and there was really nothing they can do, they took my information and was really nice. I asked if it was possible to look at the cameras since it was literally like ten minutes ago. One of the workers went to the security people to ask, but they said they coudn't do it. Costumer service then told me to go see the guys who work at the electronic section and see if they can track it down some how. I thought those guys were really rude or at least three of them. The guy in the red shirt was cool, but the guys in black didn't even like try to help me. Instead they tried selling me another phone, but I just said no and left. After I went back to the shoe section and asked if anyone saw anything and one of the girls were there for awhile and so I asked if she saw anything sketch, she just pointed out a couple who was there. But there was this mother and daughter who were there and let me use their iphone so then I can see if I can track it down with an app. BTW, download that app! it's "Find Iphone" My phone was offline so I couldnt track it. (But once I got it back, I turned it on and it sent messages to my email of where the location was at. So if someone steals your phone and ever turns it on you can get emails of where they're at) Later I went back to the customer service to ask if it was possible if I can talk to the security people and talk them into looking at the footage. One of the security guys came up to me and told me that they decided earlier to look at the footage. He said something about the guy changing his mind since it was me and my friend who were looking. He then told me that I could wait or just go and they'll give me a call if anything comes up. I decided to stay and wait in the eating area. The security guys kept passing by and kept telling me that the guys is still reviewing. I was literally about to cry, but then I kept telling myself that it was just a phone and it shouldn't be a big deal, other people have bigger problems. A few minutes pass by and I see the security guards talking to a guy and pointing and me and smiling. The guy came up to me and told me he found my iphone. I was so happy that I got up and hugged him as I thanked him. He told me that he looked at the footage and saw a girl took and realized she was still in the store. So I guess he approached her and asked for it back. I really felt like he was like my savior. I'm glad a gave him a hug, especially since he was a cutie and had like a sleeve tattoo! lol I just wished I asked if he was single or something ahaha "So I got my phone back, mind putting your number in it? (;" lol I wish! So if anyone knows who he is let me know! I was so happy I gave pretty much everyone who helped a hug! Okay so it's Target, how can you go wrong on a one-stop-shop. Go in, spend hundreds of dollars when you didn't intend to.... Target right? Well, solicitors and really strange employees totally make this Target location dumpy. Outside it is always a homeless person begging for money or some organization asking for donations. I am sorry but if I just spent a few hundred dollars accidentally, I probably won't be up for giving you my spare change. And the checkout employees... Where are your teeth? Where is your hairbrush? Just, ugh. Some are nice, but most of the time they are talking to other employees and don't pay any attention to you. I mean, who wants to be annoyed when you are shopping and spending all your money? I am all about the Target in Seal Beach or Atlantic when I want to go in and have a decent experience... While I love Targets in general, they have been really inconveniencing me with all their construction!!! I can't wait until they finish. I can't find anything and it seems that it's much more crowded than usual. It's probably because everyone spends more time circling the store to find everything. Is it me or does it seem like Target doesn't have as much stuff as before? There's only 2 or 3 different brands or kinds of stuff. And there are only 2 or none of what I want to buy in stock. And when there's more than 3 or something, the boxes/packages have been opened and ransacked. Who knows if the boxes/packages are complete. What is this... IKEA?! And WTF is up with the cart-stopping perimeter? I do like the new shopping carts. And I like the new additions, However, if it happens to be a particularly busy shopping day, you park a little further and spend more than you wanted to, then make your way with your cart across the parking lot, you're jolted to a halt and the cart freezes. CRAP! The sensors triggered in the cart and the wheels won't move forward or even backward. WTF! Target needs to consider the size of the parking lot and the damn sensors! (Ok, I'm done ranting.) There are a lot of employees asking you if you're finding everything. They are constantly trying to reassure me that construction will be done in soon enough time.
