I am 7 months pregnant and I am a shipt shopper, I usually come to this target for my orders I go to the self checkout to verify my order. When I went to the self checkout I couldn't find anyone to verify my order there where 2 employees in the area but the completed ignored me an walked away, when I finally found someone who was a older looking Indian man who was about 5'5 I asked him to verify everything and he claimed he did but after I bagged all the Items and was about to leave the employee who had helped me came back and tried to grab the bags out of my hand and got very aggressive with me saying he needed to check them again. I let him check my bags again and he said everything was fine but shipt is on a time limit so for him to inconvenience me from doing my job because he didn't do his was just really not right. I am a young African American woman who is pregnant just trying to make a little money an he really imconvinced me an gave me major anxiety. This is my last time we have done so well here, but I can't return. I asked to use the restroom and was told I don't think we have a key. I ask the by luck Olga the highest ranking person that happened to be walking by for help. I aked if I could get in this restroom she said no and I could use the one up front. I explained I am handicapped and only have so many steps a day we are shopping on this side of the store and would like to please use the nearest bathroom. Olga asked permission from the pharmacy if I could use the bathroom. How degrading I am 42 years old and need special potty permission. I asked Olga for the number to corporate she gave me the store number very unpleasant to deal with and totally humiliation on my part thanks alot target. The pharmacy is now a cvs inside target so can't yelp about them but Stan raised his voice to me and that's not professional at all. Cvs had to give target permission for me to use the bathroom because it belongs to cvs now but they don't have a key If you need help or are handicapped in anyway I can't see using this place in fear of needing help o ly to have to beg or be ignored due to nor knowing the policy sad She did not ask my info didn't want to make sure this get resolved she only wanted to get everyone stocking the shelves. I love target but this particular location is something else. Extremely poor service! Rude staff never accommodating or helpful . Empty shelves all the time even without the pandemic. I like this location because rarely is it crazy busy. My kids love their popcorn. I love that they are now carrying organic foods and way cheaper than whole foods! 5/16/16 However today, it seems like the employees avoid/ignore customers for help. The girl working in the MESSED UP cosmetics section was tending to her fellow employees while i was looking for a particular lipstick. Did she ask me if I needed help??? On Friday November 24th, 2017 I went to this Target and was harassed. I also was a victim of biased treatment which appeared to be due to race or color. I go to this store frequent. I have never had problems exchanging, returning or getting a price match. I had only recently purchased some items from this location and another Target. The sales attendant forewarned me to keep me receipt and watch the sales because there would be sales during the holidays. I am an avid shopper at Target, shamefully almost daily. It had not even crossed my mind that it was Black Friday when i went in to the store. I always thought Black Friday occurred in the middle of the night after Thanksgiving and ended around noon the next day. I have always avoided Black Friday because of the things I have seen on the news. I also, thought it was geared to electronics. I had no electronics to return nor to purchase, I was only going to request a price match on some winter clothing I had just bought for my child and I. There was a customer before me who was Irate and demanded the Black Friday discount which Target had marketed as "Buy $50, get 20% later date... I knew the marketed sale, I didn't even plan to get this promotion. I thought Black Friday ended. This lady, a white female, with a New York accent, and what many might stereotype as a New York attitude, was very confrontational and had a mountain of various items in her cart. She could have filled 2 baskets but she piled it all onto one. The team lead couldn't convince her that she could not get the 20% discount today nor could he convince her that some of her items might not apply to the discount; so he went and got approval from the assistant manager on duty, Jessica, I believe is her name, another white female and, he was approved to make an exception and give her 5%. I witnessed this as I was the very next customer. I asked for a price match because of the sale on the clothing which I never once thought were discounted because of Black Friday. The discounted price didn't say Black Friday discount either. The customer service desk refused. They told me I could return and go re-purchase them on the shelf. I agreed. There was not a problem until they saw that I had more than 1 item, a bag full of clothes. They decided to get Jessica who this this time, decided she was not going to make an exception as she had done the former customer ( a white lady like herself). She told me I couldn't get the discount. I was confused and told her that doesn't make since but that's okay I will just return it and go buy it as I was just instructed to do. This assistant mgr. was attempting to show her muscle and obviously desperate for control. She decided to tell me I can't buy the items on the shelf. I said to her what do you mean that is ridiculous. She said that it's Black Friday policy (However later, I talked to Corporate who said the policy doesn't say I could not return and repurchase on Black Friday). I said ma'am that is ridiculous how will you know what I am buying in the store after I make my return. She then made a harassing statement that she would have Loss Prevention follow me in the store. I said I haven't stolen anything and you have no reason, you are being ignorant. She said she doesn't have to serve me or let me buy anything. I said you know what ma'am that's fine, I don't want to buy anything at this point. At this point, I just want to return and get all of my money back. I was calm however she was on a roll with trying to flex her muscle front of staff and customers. She then told me I couldn't even return my items. I ended up calling the police out of fear and intimidation by Loss Prevention. The store ran up to the police before I could talk to them who themselves harassed me. I was embarrassed in front of my child and elderly mom who were frightened. Then she issued a criminal no trespassing warning against me, the person who was harassed, with the help of the police. Target's Corporate office has not returned my call after i reported this incident. read more

When into this target to grab some water and all the water is gone. That's fine, so I asked one of the workers if they got anymore water at the back and the worker looked at me and said "Do you see that I'm busy? I'm pretty all water is gone by now, you could come back tomorrow to check again." Worst customer service ever. The only reason why I gave them a 2 star is that they have self check out kiosks so I dont have to talk to anymore of the rude workers. read more

Nice Super Target. Very clean and well stocked. This one, and the one on Westheimer in West Houston are my favorites. Their food selection isn't as extensive as Wal Mart's, but the quality is better. They also have better children's clothing. Someone needs to help them with the stationery section - very unimpressive. It's a good store though, and I shop there often. read more

Target is one of my favorite stores. I always come to this target since its cleaner, nicer and not as picked over as the store on Fry Rd. My only complaint obviously wont apply to most people, but the only reason this location received 2 stars is because of their non-existent plus size clothing section. Its so irritating to go look in the Plus Size Womans clothing, and its all Maternity or Regular Womens clothing. The other thing is their poor selection of Music, Movies, and other misc merchandise compared to other Target stores I've been to. This location just needs more merchandise and better organization. read more

Great Target only knock is sometimes the prices on the shelf does not match at the register. This is one of the cleanest targets I've ever been to. The employees for the most part always seem willing to help. I loved Target but this last visit really made me disheartened on coming back ever. The attendant at the self check out did not state the problem at hand started randomly digging in my bag then took the product away from me. Attendant was not transparent on what was going on and called someone over then decided she would allow me to buy the product. I did not become upset until i talked to my coworker, and he told me that the similar thing happened to him at that exact location with the same attendant. I am quite disappointed in this Target after its renovation which I was just emailed as being complete. Why aren't hearing aid batteries in the pharmacy area as they are in every other grocery store and pharmacy in most of America? I also had trouble finding basic food items such as bread, buns, and taco shells on my last visit. I haven't been to this Target on Westheimer Parkway in Katy in ages since they carded my Mother who is 85 years old. Yes, they are required to do it, but that is just plain ridiculous!! Today I went in to get an item I needed for work and there was a clear case of false advertising or bait/switch. There was a huge sign stating GET FREE GIFT CARD above a huge row of shampoo. Well it wasn't meant for that row but the rows underneath. I was told by the "so called manager" that he would move the sign and that's all he could do. Watch out for these con jobs and for this condescending manager. With a family, I spend way too much money each week to be conned and treated poorly. I have been very happy at Walmart lately and so now they definitely have a new customer. They just seem friendlier there also to me. read more

My biggest beef with Target over the years has been two things: they always run out of the items that are on sale in the Sunday flyer and at times some things don't ring up correctly at the register. For this reason, I will only shop at this Target. For whatever reason, they always seem to have their store fully stocked, the staff is always friendly and accommodating and the store itself is nicely organized and clean. read more

I honestly don't know how this Target stays open. Went in this morning to pick up some coffee and creamer. Their creamer selection is much smaller than the other stores around. Then I had to wait 10+ minutes to check out because they didn't have a single lane open that was manned by a person. Forcing everyone to go through self checkout doesn't work. Some people simply can't do it, and others buy too much. This store is always empty, and this Saturday morning was no exception. I wonder if it is due to the lack of customer service? The short version is that the customer service is horrendous at this location, Felicia (manager) and Mary(customer service center) flat out refused to help, and Over Promise and under deliver to their customers . Yesterday my wife called the galleria location to see if they could put an item on hold for her so that I could pick it up for her the next day. So the next day I ride over and the people at customer service have no idea what I'm talking about. No notes, No communication, and No product, ok I'm a little frustrated now but they ask me not to worry because their system shows the location on Westhimer Parkway has the item. So I hope back on the bike in full gear and its the middle of a summer afternoon in Houston(hotter than hell) and I make the commute. So 45mins later I arrive, I walk straight to the pharmacy isle and look for the pink sonicare diamond kit, but only black and white models were on the shelf. So I not upset yet I grab a white model and head up to customer service center. I'm greeted by and very grumpy lady by the name of Mary. I ask Mary if she can help me and double check to see if they had the pink unit because 50 minutes earlier I was informed they did by another location. So I explained my dilemma and ask if there was any way they could match the price for all of my troubles and wasted time, she refused without hesitation, I politely ask for someone that would be able to help, she made several radio calls for assistance, finally Felicia came up and asked want it is i need help with. I again repeated what has taken place and if she would make the exception, she then got into a debate that the white and pink are to different models. I politely disagreed they are the same model but different skus are used to designate the difference in color, just as if a black Honda Civic and a blue Honda Civic are the same model just different in color. I then ask since she is unwilling to help me who else may I speak to at the location to try and resolve this problem. Her responses "you can't get any higher than me", so I questioned are you the store leader to which she responded "yes". She then handed me a comment card and circled the 1800number. When I called after 30mins I eventually spoke to a very nice lady by the name of Megan I again told her what had happened and I'm starting to lose my patience at this point and they are unwilling to make things right after having me run all over town, target at this point has over promised and under delivered. Megan asked to place me on hold as she spoke to Felicia when Megan switched back to our call she stated that the price difference was too much and that Felicia was still unwilling to price match the product. I then asked Megan to confirm if she was truly the store leader, after a quick search on her part she told me that a gentleman by the name of Jake was the head man in charge. Megan apologize repeatedly but stated that there's she can do nor is there anyone above her that I could speak to. I ended the call and walked back inside and asked the rep at customer service if I may speak with Jake, she called for Felicia then I was told that he is not back in the store until next week on Monday and gave me a non direct number, she gave me the generic store phone number. I will be adding any updates about how Jake handles this and what the outcome will be. read more

The store is good and never busy. On a side note, I think this store has cell jammers because I literally get no service on my cell phone when I'm inside the store, I'm on AT&T and used to barely get one bar when I was on Verizon. read more

You've made the self checkout a complete pain. I scan an item and a employee has to input their ID. This happened to me and others. If you're going to make it difficult and a waste of my time to wait for a store employee at the self check out then I'm taking my business elsewhere. I left the stuff at the self check out register. Why are there employees all over the store stocking shelves? This doesn't allow customers to easily browse and purchase. This can be done after hours or a slower time of the day. The Lady at the Pizza Hut located inside this Target IS EXTREMELY RUDE. I have visited on two different occasions and received the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE from her. She doesn't smile, she acts like everyone annoys her. My Co-worker has had the same experience. read more

Best pharmacy ever. The staff is great, prices are reasonable, and the ability to customize your prescription bottle in a sea of all the family's mess is priceless. That and after 5 filled prescriptions, you get a 5% off day of shopping. And having them know your name when you go up is pretty cool too read more

Their food area is terrible!!! Most of the time I order, they're out of everything. This time, got the pretzel & cheese combo for $2.69. The guy brings out a rubbery pretzel with no cheese. Such a disappointment. I went shopping to the same store two weekends in a row to buy a TV. 75% were not on or plugged in. 25% had no signage to tell you about them and to top it off 5 associates near by kept looking at me and even watched me try to turn on a few of them. The most activity they even displayed was the one who was texting on his phone. When I commented to the manager about my experience he was very nice and did apologize and offer to help me, but little too late. Prices and sales a decent. I tend to be able to find what I'm looking for more here than at the local Walmart. Only complaints are that there is zero cell service unless you get to the back Northeast corner of the building; near the emergency exit. Really frustrating when looking for coupons, cross referencing sales, or trying to move money on my debit card. I avoid going here unless I'm prepared to buy. The Starbucks folks up front have never been friendly. And if you are expecting to find automotive items for pm, expect to only find the basics. read more

This store is ok, fairly clean overall. The shoe department is always a mess, every time I have been there. Never can find the shoes or sizes you are looking for. Shoes are on the floor and shoes are in the wrong boxes, sometimes not even close to where the shoe is displayed. Had a great experience in the electronics area. Very nice older man was extremely helpful and patient. Took time with us and did not feel rushed. However this is the only help we have received at this store. Rarely see a store associate. Customer service can be trying at times. It is a hit and miss regarding friendly service. read more
