Good place for dropping off Amazon stuffs as well as shopping around! :) The Amazon returning machine seemed to have issues by the time I got to the front yet they were able to fix it in a bit. You know how there are some places that you just can't find anything you are looking for because of the lay out of the store. Well that was me here at this Kohl's store. I went looking for one certain item and I could not find it anywhere. The store had tons of clearance items. The store was semi-organized. Left without buying anything. It's not Cool to charge members and card holders so much less than regular shoppers, but it is Kohl to do that, and they do. Definitely a really great story if you're a member because they constantly are sending you coupons so you get 50% off everything that you order and you can save hundreds of dollars - even though the starting prices are a little bit on the high side... if you know what is and what isn't a good deal then you can probably get $500 worth of stuff for $200 or something like that. read more

we're constantly followed around the store when we are paying customers. Even while we're waiting in line, we are getting stared at and constantly watched. I would not return. I'm a white woman and my boyfriend is a black male i'm sure you could put the puzzle pieces together. Nobody else in the store was asked if they needed help by the same person five different times and nobody else was followed the way we were. Will not be returning. Beware, this store discriminates against, and are condescending, and insulting to their handicapped customers. I went to the entrance and it was closed and a clerk opened the door and said I had to go to the other entrance. I was on a cane, I can't walk without it, and I explained I was handicapped and could not walk far, also it was raining so the concrete was slippering which is an added issue for me. He said, "mam it's okay, you just have to walk around the corner. You can exit from this door." Of course, that didn't change the danger of walking around the corner. He seemed to think my handicap that made it difficult for me to walk was some silliness that I should ignore so pure discrimination. He also let in about 20 non-handicap, able-bodied customers at that entrance while I was sent to the other entrance. People that could have easily walked around the corner. I drove to the other entrance and the handicap parking there was not in front of the door, it was on the side, the corner of the building, as was the ramp. So far, and again the concrete was wet. So, I parked in a non-handicap place that was closer as I could not walk that far. In the store, I spoke to the manager Eric. He said that there was handicapped parking in front of the entrance that was open and I said show me because I know there is not. So we walked out there and he saw that the handicapped parking was not in front of the entrance as he had said that it was much further away and I told him that I did not appreciate that he lied to me. And he knew I knew it was a lie when he said it. He had no problem with the clerk speaking to me in a condescending tone and telling me it was okay it was just around the corner. But it was not okay, it was too far for me to walk as I am handicapped, which is why I drove. And he let in over 20 able-bodied people but not me. The clerk and Eric seem to think handicaps are something people make up. And the safety of customers is 100% unimportant. read more

As a member of Kohl's program, I am extremely dissatisfied the racial prejudice of their employee Pravina at store 0527 Katy. I was leaving the register with the clothes that I just paid for when suddenly, the alarm went off . I immediately went back to Pravina and asked her to check my bag. Pravina checked my bag but the alarm went off again, and I went right back to her. Pravina then stated, "I checked everything, you must have some perfume or cologne in your purse." Is this because I am black? With the clothes still at the register, I walked backed to the sensor with my purse and there was no disturbance. I walked back to the register, took the clothes that I just paid for and held the bag to the sensor when the alarm sounded. I looked at Pravina and she signaled for me to leave in disgust, waving her hand to go away like you would a bug that is pestering you. I was humiliated in front of everyone. I, then took each item of clothing I just purchased from the bag and found the green pants still had a security tag still on it that she did not see. Why was I accused of this stealing when Pravina did not take off the security tag? Was it because I am black? I told the manager Oralia of the racial implication imposed upon me by her associate and she did not care. Oralia accosted my witness who is male and misgendered him. Is this how you treat your Black/ African-Americans shoppers who pay? read more

Kohl's is great to find things on sale and to browse. It's big enough to walk around in and look at the latest trends, but not so overwhelming like a mall. I like the friendly cashiers and the fitting rooms are never messy. Bring on the Kohls cash and I'm a happy shopper! read more

Horrible customer service. I'm a loyal Kohl's customer at this location for many years. Today I went for a coffee maker. I called ahead to make sure they had it. Arrived no coffeemaker the person attempted to assist me but could not get my coupon to work. She called the store manager for assistance. He snapped at her basically refused to help. Lauren Conrad, JLo and Vera??? Kohl's about 5 years ago had a bad wrap but they have definitely improved and upgraded. I like shopping here for home decor, clothes and jewelry. However, you have to be careful because you can't expect quality. Tips: Everything here you should buy at a discount. So, if it's full price, just wait! They also occasionally have a cash program where when you spend a certain amount you get a gift certificate back for a future use. I'd come back over and over again. read more

It's always hit or miss at a Kohl's store. I think this one is usually better stocked then the one in Katy/ Richmond. It in between seasons, so everything is super picked over, especially the clearance racks. You can find nice clothes and you can find really poorly made clothes. They have a reward card and they always ask (pressure) for the credit card. If you spend a certain amount they give you "Kohl's cash" only redeemable within a certain time period. They used to let you redeem it after it expired, not anymore. So just keep an eye on sales and coupons. Never buy anything full price, seriously, if it's not on sale today, it will be the next week. I do love how they do not enforce only 5 items in the changing room at a time, for that reason and lower prices I will shop here over target. Just be prepared to dig for the hidden gems. You will either score or walk out disappointed. read more

Good pricing on a large variety of merchandise. One of the first places I like to shop when I'm in need of something for my kitchen or update our bathrooms. I've gotten some good deals including their $10 Kohls cash. The only downfall I can see is that the men's department is really difficult to move around in; everything is really too close together and on the weekends the lines at the cash registers are ridiculously long. read more

The employees move as slow as molasses... Or they're just not accustomed to customer service, so why are they really there? I'm usually patient because I understand it's busy and people are buying tons of clothes. However, there's a line full of customers waiting to check out and the worker just walks away... Really? People have been in line for 30+ minutes and you're just gallivanting around. Understaffed. Oh how I love this place. I come here with my kohl's cash and I feel like a boss a la Rick Ross. But enough with the hip-hop rapping let me tell you why I love this place. I used to be a fan of TJ Maxx and Marshalls back in the day and have not really given this place the time of day until I heard about the wonderful thing called "kohls cash" it works basically like free money with no strings attached and you usually accumulate $10 worth for every $50 that are spent. And you have to utilize it within a certain timeframe but usually if they're expired they will still on which is really neat and most businesses don't do that. I haven't been back to my old stomping grounds of Marshall's and TJ Maxx and years because this place has great shirts and options for work and leisure for very competitive prices. I found a few shirts that look like exclusive screen printed shirts you would see at the skateboard park and when people ask me where I got it from I don't tell them my secret. This place even has furniture options as well and other home decor items so needless to say I've spent quite a bit of money in this place. This review is just concerning the maternity and newborn section of clothing... Went here last week to try and find something to wear to a funeral, and found that they only had one wall of clothes a couple of feet long of maternity wear. There were even fewer options for newborn clothes. I wasn't expecting a treasure trove of maternity wear as that is not one of Kohl's known specialties, but they acted like I was shopping for something rare and hard to find, like one legged pants or something. Really, are pregnant people so rare that you think you only need a section about ten feet long full of clothes that may fit their bodies?? Seems like they could be makin' a lot more money. And I'm a little confused about that Kohl's commercial where the new dad goes in and returns all of the girls clothing for boys clothing if there isn't any newborn clothing to buy to begin with... I can't begin to understand why I like this store so much. It is about 25 miles from my house and I still find myself here about twice a month. The quality of merchandise is really good and the value is perfect. The staff is always helpful and the deals are always plentiful. Popped in to get sunglasses, the FILA pair I purchased two weeks ago here broke and I really liked them. Had no more of that brand, even with the remodeling accounted for, the store was trashed. Staff were scarce and I promptly removed myself and did the parking dance, won't be back at 5:00 p.m. on a Friday. This Kohls has loads of housewares and clothing. It is quite large, well maintained, well stocked and has never been croweded when I have visited yet. There is lots of parking, and the store has parking and entrances on 2 sides, so you can park near the clothes, or park near the housewares. I recommend this store. read more

OMG what a mess, this is the most unorganized Kohl's I've ever been in. I attempted to shop for shoes but gave up. Empty shoe boxes were on the floors. Shoes were tossed on the floors shelves. The ladies Dept. was just as bad. There were to many items on the racks made it difficult to remove from the rack as well as trying to replace the item. Shopping by brand names are impossible, items are all jumbled up together. Dressing rooms have piles of clothes on the floors, hooks and doors. If you have anxiety attacks don't even attempt to go to the undergarment department or you'll be leaving by ambulance. A thrift store is organized better. So Much better than the Barker Cypress store. Management treats the customers the way they should be treated. I even had one of them help me find everything I was looking for yesterday around noon, when it was somewhat busy. They go above and beyond what they need to do. Will be my store from now on. About half the employees speak very poor English so forget trying to get help from them! Instead of Christmas and holiday music they had music in Spanish on the radio! The store was disorderly, and I couldn't get help at the fine jewelry department because one employee was working while 2 other employees near the jewelry stood talking to each other in Spanish oblivious to my request for help! read more

I love Kohl's!!! I shop both online and in store. I get the best deals here that I have never been able to do in other department stores. As a charge card customer the discounts and savings are significant, much better than I can say of other "sales & promo's". Between sales price and discount coupons they send me and Kohl's cash I usually save anywhere from 50 to70% off! It is fun to see how much I can save! The trick is to get a Kohl's credit card, they really take care of their customers. The return policy is the best I have ever seen from any retailer. If an item does not hold up well or is a disappointment no matter how long it has been they are happy to do whatever will satisfy you! If you used your Kohl's credit card you don't even need a receipt. The quality of the products is always good and a great selection. The sales associates are always friendly and eager to help me.
