I'm no stranger to Target or this location. I ran in to grab some wrapping paper and ribbon. Tis the season! I usually love Target, I mean, who doesn't? Yet I feel lately the last few times I've gone to this location, they are understaffed. It's the holiday season, and they only had 3 registers open and a line a mile long at self checkout. As a target team member of 4 years, I typically like to shop at other targets. However this was by far the worst experience I've had at another target than the one I work for. Isreali, the self checkout advocate, had a headphone in and had the WORST attitude I've experienced. She was not friendly. Then when we asked to speak with a manager Mack, she seemed bothered and already sided with Isreali before she heard what we had to say. I will not be returning to this locations and will be talking to my ETLS and TLs at my location. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE . This is a Target. As Targets go, it's a pretty good one, because the employees are generally pretty helpful, and actually know where things are. I've found they have an adequate selection of ridiculous inflatables for your pool. I recommend the giant flamingo, if you don't have one already. You might want to pick up some inflatable rafts with cupholders for when the novelty of the flamingo wears off, and you just want to float and drink in your pool like an adult. They also have a decent array of water guns, if you want to make the children at your pool very happy, and the adults very unhappy. Really, they've got tons of stuff because it's Target. They carry softballs and plates, but not the peach butcher paper that you want to wrap briskets in, just in case you had the exact same shopping list I did. read more

It's official! My favorite Target has come the way of it's biggest competitor. I overlooked the times when the weekends meant checkout lines wrapped all down next to the aisles. It took me over 9 months to decide to write this, as this is when I initially started to write it. Then, a random Tuesday night, 2 cashiers and lines as far as the produce section. There was a time when this would have never occurred. One of the main reasons for the loyalty used to be not having to endure this. There used to be numerous cashiers, fast service, employees who stocked products knew where things were. Is this really pandemic related and lack of resources? This is one of the better staffed stores where people don't ignore you. I was actually able to run in on my lunch break to buy a shirt since I got something on the one I was wearing and also got my watch battery changed with no problem, I was in and out in 10 minutes. The battery thing............man- target you sold me the watch so you carried it- the battery has died once a year for 3 years- its not an expensive watch but I do like it so keep the tools in ALL of your stores to be able to change it. read more

This store is usually pretty clean and organized. The softlines area is a mess. They STILL aren't allowing customers to try on the clothes they are looking to buy...unlike their competitors. I placed an order online for pickup and when I arrived I was told they lost my item, which was now sold out in-store and online. I waiting nearly 30 minutes for assistance as employee after employee seemed to not know how to handle my item which they lost. I kept getting alerts for days prior it was ready for pickup. I will never ever order online for pickup at this Katy Freeway location. The pharmacist here is very unfriendly, too. read more

This store was recently remodeled and it looks great, right from the second I stepped inside their doors. Very bright, very clean looking! I must say that it was quite impressive and a pleasure to shop in. I loved how the beauty section was done up beautifully, giving it that high end department store look and feel. Even checking out was a breeze, with team members willing to help, like when I had trouble scanning an iTunes card at self-checkout, the team member working there was very quick and helpful. I also loved that now Target accepts Apple Pay, so that I don't have to fumble for my wallet, all I have to do is get my iPhone and boom, I'm done. How convenient is that? Even though my days as a team member with the company are long over, I still will find time to shop here because of how wonderful the store looks. Keep it up! read more

What sets those two stores apart is that Target generally sales better quality clothing, and their pricing is a little bit higher overall. There are some items that you really can only find in Target, so every now and then you have to check them out. Also, because they are the little sibling of that store that starts with W, the lines aren't usually as busy, and workers aren't usually as stressed. This is just a regular Target, so don't expect a huge variety of food here. Very few fresh food items. read more

This is the worst Target I've ever been to. The employees do NOT care about helping the customers whatsoever. My brother found a jacket on their website, but it rang up full price. I remembered that Target price matches, as a Target in Dallas price matched with Best Buy's price for a TV for us once, so I suggested we go to customer service to get the issue resolved. Not only were they unwilling to honor their policy, but the lady was REALLY rude and condescending. We asked if a manager could perhaps help us with the matter to which a snotty, young girl sneered "I've been standing right here the whole time", still unable to help. It was actually difficult to stay calm because of the absurd way the employees were treating us. Also, this location is RIGHT off the Katy Freeway, and I know there have been issues in the parking lot with dash and grabs, being that the thieves can so quickly escape down I-10. Long story short, don't waste your time at this Target. Shockingly, the Wal-Mart across the street has better customer service than this sorry excuse of a store. read more

I am a Target connoisseur. I pop up Sunday mornings thinking about what is on sale at Target. It has become part of my routine to look at the Sunday ads. Regardless of my love for everything associated with Target, this particular Target lacked a lot of the things that were listed on the ad. I am a bit spoiled by having a Super Target near the house. This Target simply did not live up to expectations. However, it did regain my respect due to an unfortunate incident. We had bought the 5th Season of How I Met Your Mother on DVD. Upon bringing it home, we had open the package to discover that there was no discs in it. I immediately called up the store and spoke to the manager. The manager told us that we could come back in so that they can review the video tape. The fact that they even offered us the opportunity felt very generous. I love target and I buy most of my things there, whether it is groceries, makeup, or other stuff. But this is the WORST location I've been to. At first I thought it was just this one employee, but after going several times, I realized this location just doesn't care about their customers. Rude rude rude! And they never have the things I need. A lot of the makeup sections are almost empty as well. Cashiers seem like the got hired straight from the McDonald's drive through, no manners or respect whatsoever. If you hate your job so much, leave. If you want good pay, do your job correctly. I went here to pick up an item that Walmart didn't have. Can you imagine that. I thought I could find it on my own but after several minutes of searching I still couldn't find what I was looking for. Their website said it was in stock so I had to ask for help. The person that helped me took a whole to find or on her scan tool. I have to give it to her she didn't give up when it just didn't show up. Eventually she found my item: One Touch Razor. It looks like the razor your dad used to shave with. I saw it advertised on tv but I'm too impatient to wait for it to be shipped. It comes with 12 extra razors but the tv one comes with 24 extra razors for the same price but takes 5-8 weeks to deliver. I don't come to Target much but the associate that help me really show me great customer service skills and refused to let me leave until she found what I needed. I'm sorry I didn't get her name because after she helped me she was off to help someone else. This was on Thursday afternoon 7/17. She should be commended. read more

Three stars because the customer service lady was very nice. I bought an item online for store pick up. I assume the reason for this option is to save time. I received a text saying my item was ready so I stopped by quickly to scoop it up. I waited twice as long. I could have gone to the shelf and grabbed it and checked out twice for the amount of time I waited. As I listened to the radio conversation. The back room wasnt responding. As much as I like Target and their products, this store really needs a makeover and a lot more organization, staff... and a really over-zealous cleaning crew that loves a challenge. Most of the carts are outside, and frequently I have to bring my own cart inside. If they do get indoors, the carts are full of trash, and never cleaned up before being pushed back in place for the customers to use. Avoid the food court like the plague, unless you enjoy dirty tables, a beverage center that is sticky, with solid mush in the ice dropoff, and food that looks like it's been sitting there for days under a heat light. Bathrooms... did not go in them, since you can never be sure who will be in there already glaring and staring. Even if Target did not have the ridiculous bathroom policy where everyone can go where they want, you would not be able to find a security or cop anywhere anyways. The infant and toddler toy section is one tiny little aisle, so good luck in having choices here. The baby boy and girls clothes section is very small as well. With the boys section being a quarter of the size of the girls. Target usually has amazing clearance items, however, at this store you get a lot of broken products or items with missing pieces. These really just need to be thrown away. The store must be smaller, as all the sections seem to have less than any of the other Targets. Actually this store feels like the Target of years ago, with few choices and less trendy items... or should I say, it felt more like Walmart. Oh and the dollar days section in front was nothing but notebooks with ripped pages out of them, crayons with missing crayons and open packages, and broken cups, sticker books with missing stickers... just a joyous plethera of product mishaps. Customer service? Well, you won't see employees on the floor, so you can't get help there. The employee that checked me out never once spoke a word or looked at me, same treatment as the person in front of me as well. Never felt that Target taught basic customer service to their employees anyways, so did not bother me. I'm not much of a germaphobic, but I did purchase a bottle of sanitizing hand gel to use before I got in my car. Looking back at this review there is not really any positive comments. Don't want to be too negative, so here's a few good comments on this store: * They have a great selection of board games, some that you would not find anywhere else. * Store is laid out similar to the others, with few differences, so if you run in for a few specific items, you can likely find them quickly. * The infant section with diapers, wipes, and baby food and snacks is well stocked and maintained. Bought Red Diamond Sweet tea on 3/13/19. Tried to drink it on 3/14/19. The tea had expired on 2/27/19 and tasted like Dirt. I will for sure be checking dates on more than just milk and bread now. This is a terrible oversight and terrible use of the FIFO (First In First Out)system that should be used for all shelf life items. I have reached out to Red Diamond as well to let them know their product has not been rotated properly at your location. Please ensure the staff is paying attention to dates when stocking. read more

Clearly, the negative reviews on this store don't make much of a difference. The store is incredibly messy and unorganized. It's 8 in the morning there's no way the mess is from today. Aside from that, it seems as though no one has restocked anything at all even in the grocery department. Of course all of this is just a testament to the incompetence of their employees. I came in looking for a specific item which I had called ahead a confirmed that they had 12 in stock. I asked the rep to confirm that they were physically on the floor and she did. I get to the store 40 minutes later to find shelves empty. And a manager, Baxter, basically calls me a liar by telling me that the girls in customer service haven't received any calls and that the items in question are "still on the truck." Still a fan, but thought I'd write a little update. They now have nicer fitness clothing for women. The sports bra were different styles and not just the generic "uni-boob" design. And they had fitness/yoga pants in three different lengths with 4 different cuts. And each of these items were about $20 or less. They have increased their grocery aisles to try and make their stores into a mini super-Target. The selection isn't as wide, but I have found items I needed in this area and that saved a trip to my usual grocery store. This trip was mainly to pick up some vitamins and other supplements and their pharmacy had plenty. I'd still rather come here than buy a possibly used item at full-price at the "big W". read more

Its Target, what can I say? They have the stuff every regular Target has. This is NOT a "Super-Target", so not much in the way of groceries. My only problem with Target is their return policy, so I make sure not to purchase anything that could easily break like electronics. read more

The manager named Sheila I believe was rude and had an attitude towards me in front of my 3 year old twin girls. I asked if they priced match items. The guy at the register wasn't sure so he asked the manager Sheila.. she said no not from the direct company. I found one off Amazon since they said they did match. She seemed upset at this point on my second "discounted" items.( They had Elsa Frozen dresses put in on the shelf at $19.99.) When I got to the front they rang up $27.99. I had to walk Sheila to the area I got them from labeled $19.99. She said we can give you one for that price. I said it's okay I don't want the dresses I have twins.. this other male manager I believe told her that's okay give it to her for $19.99. I only gave 2 stars since I did receive my fair discounted price. I will drive to Cinco Ranch or Copperfield Target become coming back to this location.
