This location is off to an outstanding start. I love stopping into different targets as I know some more carry a different variety of things. I was particularly in search of business casual office wear. The selection was in transition from summer to fall so I didn't live the options but still found some great gear for work. I wondered over to the beauty and makeup area and this place has it all! My daughter uses proactive and I didn't realize it was sold in kits here. Very please! Store associates were in full swing and all helpful and present. Store is clean oh my!; the dressing rooms! Beautiful and well lit! Enjoyed my experience here and will be back as it is closer to my job. Is there a new manager on site? I stopped by today to pick up my usual items, and the experience was very different from what I'm used to. About half of the registers were closed, which already created some confusion. Then an employee loudly yelled at customers to move to another checkout area on the opposite side of the store. I understand that operational issues happen and that employees may need to redirect customers, but there is a respectful way to communicate with people. The tone and manner used felt unnecessary and stressful. I also noticed employees gathering in the hallways, laughing and appearing disorganized. What happens behind the scenes isn't my business, but customers shouldn't feel like they're walking into a chaotic environment. read more

The optometry department is a total rip off. They are not trustworthy not responsive and absolutely not held accountable. The store enables their bad behavior by stating that they are under a different operational management team. Strongly recommend you go somewhere else. Huge huge store!!! It was well worth the 45 minute drive to tour Targets new large format store!!! Walked every isle except food and still took 1.5! Plus I got to charge my car the whole while I shopped!! I love Target and this one is a wonder land for sure... Clean besides on shelf where nasty customers dumped their Starbucks trash. This is a new Target location with a new design. It's definitely eye-catching. Once you walk inside, the store is very nice. It's large, well-lit, clean and appealing to the eye. The new style shopping carts are awesome. They ride smooth as silk and have 2 cup holders. After I got over my initial oohs & ahhhs of the appearance, I started shopping for household essentials. This is where my experience fell flat. Everything I had on my list was out of stock. This was disappointing. I thought oh well, I will just pick up a few other things then. I decided to get bath towels since they showed a sake price when I scanned them in the Target app. At the self checkout, they did not ring up on sale so I went to guest services. The team member told me that was an online only price and would not honor. I returned those items. I drove 30 miles out of the way to see a pretty store. I didn't get anything that I needed and didn't even get the extra things I picked up because of pricing discrepancies. Overall not the best experience. Yes it's a nice store. This Target is so close to my house so it has become my one stop shop! I can run in really quick and grab one thing and be right out. If you go during peak times, avoid the self check out and head to the side by Starbucks and find the one open register. There is always one and it never has a wait. I passed up all the people waiting for self checkout by just walking to the other side. Huge store, never crowded and easy to find things. read more

Very nice Target that has about everything. However, this is the most understaffed location I have ever been to. They will either have one or two lines open with no self check out or only self check out available which has customers scanning $200 worth of stuff at the checkout and holding up the line. Not to mention the self check out cashier, having to run around to assist with secured items or performing ID checks when it could've been done at the register. This location is only going to get busier as more restaurants and homes are built, I just moved here and it is my main place for groceries and any essentials, but the lack of staff has made its convenient location inconvenient. read more

As someone who's from a state where targets are small, to the point and everything is locked (NYC) this place was heaven. It's is HUGE. I mean, bigger than Texas huge. The workers are kind, they sell wine and other spirits, the selection is much bigger and honestly I was amazed by how big it is. This target went down real quick. It's really lacking in merchandise. Whoever is in charge of music late at night plays random stuff that's probably not part of the target playlist. The aisles have gotten very unorganized, especially the clothing and make up department. The kid's section, especially toddlers is very lacking. I hate coming to this target now, and choose to go to 290/spring cypress or even Copperfield over this one. read more

Every Target should look like this one. This location is HUGE - it's kind of in the middle of nowhere so it's surprising to see the size of it but you know from the minute you see it, it's got a different finish out that's immediately apparent from the exterior and it carriers into the interior. The only thing that was a little weird is that they carried the clothing section across the aisle into the checkout area which seemed a little off-putting for some reason. The bathroom could also use more stalls (or maybe a second family restroom to compensate). The front was adequately staffed and it has a really cool dedicated pickup area with covered drive-up lanes. read more

My 2 girls went to try on a pair of clothes in the fitting room and both of them have very different body types. The worker at the fitting room grabbed the tops they were going to try on and told them "the kids section is over there, you CANNOT TRY this on!" I'm furious!!! As someone who loves to shop at target. Also someone who has worked retail, I had the worst experience today. there was an item on the wrong placement done by the workers. I did take pictures because it was more than one item on that placement and so I asked the manager if she would consider to value their mistake. She denied to do that and then when I go ahead and ask for a corporate number, she did not like that came upset left to get the corporate number came back somewhat handed me the sticking out with the number and I asked for her name and if she could please write it down for me so I do not forget she didn't replied no, I will not and started to walk away as she walked away. I asked are you a manager walking away from a customer that's asking you to please write your name down so I do not forget it when I go ahead and I call corporate she continued to walk away. I have called corporate. I have put the complaint just because the way that she handled it. I don't believe that it was a management type of move and especially that I also have my children there and there was a lot of people there watching her name as she said was Kayla I will be speaking more to corporate as I did get a reference number and I am someone who's gonna keep up with this? Everything has been well stocked while I've been there, and lots of employees are around if you need assistance. I really hope they can keep it nice and clean for a long time! This Target is the first store with the new reimagined Target Co. design, consisting of sustainable elements and a larger footprint. This location just opened for the Grand Opening today, and it is a good looking Target, probably the coolest one I've been to in Texas! Walking in, the entrance was aesthetically pleasing, bright (with many windows and lights), modern, with a conservatory/greenhouse look. The newly designed shopping carts are also remarkable. It wheels around so smoothly, is lightweight, and has 2 cup holders! The staff was very friendly, and since it did just open...expect a crowd during prime hours and weekends. We played it smart though and went a bit later in the evening, so it was nice being able to explore our new neighborhood Target without rubbing elbows with strangers, even though this location is roomy and huge so it probably wouldn't be the case. We were told that this Target will also have solar panels in the coming months and EV charging ports, all part of Target's sustainability goals. Overall, I was so impressed and can easily see this being my favorite Target store. With it being so close to home, I am in trouble for sure!! read more

Decent. The shopping carts are wonderful and zippy lol the day after Xmas they already are putting up Valentine's Day things. Women's Bathroom was good and not a total nightmare. I took one star off for ONLY 4 stalls in the women's bathroom and one of them had no toilet paper. Hand washing station is on the other side of the stalls. So BOOO to them on that. After the bells and whistles died down, it is a regular Walmart. Just bigger and shinier. But a small bathroom area. Thumbs down. read more

I drove over an hour from Montrose to katy to see this "huge and beautiful" concept target to be underwhelmed and disappointed. From dirty fittingrooms to empty shelves, I found this Target poorly taken care of and out of stock on the things I actually wanted to get from here. I walked in with a blown mind from the gorgeous curb appeal, and as soon as I walked into the clothing departments (my favorite parts of target) I was completely turned off by the mid managed departments and just kept walking. Surly I'd find somewhere in the store cleaned....the only sections cleaned and inviting to shop was the home sections. I left only with a Starbucks in hand and not at all felt the joy of coming to targets as I usually do. :( I hope they find better management for this poorly disorganized store. read more

WARNING! Please, Please do not shop at this target. Their customers service is no good, If I can give this store a 0 (ZERO) I would. I needed to buy a T.V asap. I wasn't in a position to immediately run out to buy one immediately. So I go on line and decide to purchase a TV from Target ( this location on Westheimer Pkwy notes The T.V i choose to purchase was listed on line as in stock and I can get same day delivery within 2 hpurs. And this Target location is close to the place the TV is to be delivered . Okay order confirmed my credit card was charged, I was given a time frame in which the T.V was to be delivered. Tell me why after the time frame to deliver the Tv was about to passed here come the delivery driver (Jesus) from Target sent me a text message saying. They don't have the TV in stock do I want to cancel the order. Wait, WHAT!!!! Sir! Excuse me, when I ordered the TV it said you all have some in stock. Sir! I need this TV asap today as you noted, Do you understand we are under a thunderstorm watch ( Beryl ) I need to be able to watch TV to see what this storm is doing. Okay so then the guy who was shopping my order then says oh hold up. He's talking to the support team to see what they can do. Okay yes please how about you have it delivered to me from another store since you already charged my credit card hundreds of dollars, because if you cancel my order and credit my credit card back, now you're tying up my money . That credit won't show up on my credit for some days as they noted. Okay so I'm waiting for a update from the guy (JESUS) who was shopping my order. Jason don't care, he wasn't listening and he had no intentions on helping me. Because Jason never wrote down my name or complaint from the beginning when I initially gave him my name. Okay so now Jason the manager went to get a pen and piece of paper and say Okay Im going to write down your name and number Jason proceeded to say what's your name again, and spell your name, and I also provide Jason with my call back number. Wait! Mr.Manager Jason so you really never wrote down my information in tbe beginning for the front line managers. Until you had to go get a pen and paper when I told you. You don't have my phone number because all you asked for was for my name at 1st Then once you got your pen and paper Mr Managers Jason. Now you're asking what's my name again and how to spell my name. SMHH. if you don't like your job and you don't want to help consumers/ customers to the best of your ability, You shouldn't be at a job where you provide very little to none customer service. Me and my boyfriend went here to buy me an apple watch and the customer service we received was amazing!! We weren't sure what series i'd like since it's my first one but William helped us 100%.
