I love Cobblestone Cottage. I have been to 3 locations and had amazing experiences with each. At the Fulshear location I nearly overlooked the cutest flip flops that were 70% off and thankfully I had an awesome salesperson who pointed them out! Bought 2 pair and came back for 2 more for a friend! They do have some very upscale items but they also have a wide variety of very affordable items. Everyone comes in with a different budget and a different need ( personal shopping, shower gift etc) and they have something for everyone! Check them out, you'll love it! Whoa some of the reviews on here are ridiculous. The item I purchased was $2 more than the website where the item is sold. I am impatient and wanted it ASAP though. I contacted the retailer through Facebook originally, and multiple times. Each time I was answered promptly and with a friendly attitude. I went to the new location near the ihop off of the Katy Fwy, and my Google Maps and Maps from Apple were giving me two different locations for the same address. I had to call and get directions, and the person helping me was so kind, I do not know the area and they stayed on the phone to give detailed instructions. When we finally got to the store we were greeted by a friendly employee who offered to help us. She took me straight to what I was looking for! I will be back in the future and will tell my friends about this store. read more

I went to both locations and at both I've found the staff to be super friendly and helpful. At the Cinco location they had been closed for 20 minutes already while I was browsing the store but they never rushed me or said anything about it. It wasn't until I finished making my purchase and the sales associate walked out with me to lock up that I realized they had been closed. I apologized for keeping them and was told that it was okay she didn't want to rush me out. I was impressed with this especially since after all my time browsing I only made a very small purchase. read more

This is the cutest store! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I was in awe. I think I spent more time staring at the trees than looking at everything else. Everything was GORGEOUS! Great place to buy a gift. It is expensive, but it's good quality stuff. Now, I didn't feel like I didn't belong. I guess you would say I looked "homely". No makeup, hair wasn't done up, I was wearing an oversized worn out (but cute top) with my Lularoe leggings and tennis shoes. I was a mess. Did they seem to care? NOPE. I felt comfortable walking around the shop looking all homely. They were kind to all of us in the shop. I may have looked like I "didn't belong" and I didn't buy anything, but I know where to go to get good gifts! I'll be back for sure! read more

I will start off by saying that Cobblestone Cottage is a nice store where you can find unique gifts. Unfortunately the young owner/manager has offended me while shopping in her store several times. Her mannerism and her unpleasant tone is uncalled for when I was just simply asking for help. Over hearing her tone with others is offensive as well. If she treats her paying customers with no respect it makes me wonder how her employees are treated I work everyday in a professional environment where customer service is valued. I can honestly say with experience that is not the case at this store with the owner. It is unfortunate but there is other boutiques that will offer unique gifts and friendly service. read more

They have lots of cute merchandise but customer service is terrible. I bought an item there that turned out to be defective and went back 4 TIMES to try and speak to a manager/owner and was told to come back another time every time I went. Once I finally came at a time when the manager was there, she told me she would not let me return the item or give me store credit. Infuriating read more

I have to give it 1 star because it wont let me give anything less....pity points. Everything is totally overpriced. The owner gets it all at market and doubles the price of every item....can you say rip off? Really understaffed, every time I come in there there is a totally new set of employees. Low employee retention rate must mean something? The owner and manager stand behind the counter and stare at you in repugnance as you browse their costly merchandise. You would think they are under the impression that they own the Taj Mahal. Uh Heads up...its a freaking gift shop with overpriced shelf stacking garbage. In Katy, Texas nonetheless. Get over yourself people. If you like overpriced candles and frames or if you collect those ugly Marc Roberts fairies and elves, OR if you like shopping while being stared at in total disgust then this place is totally for you. I find this store absolutely horrible. They have cute stuff, I'll give them that. But that's where it ends. Whenever I go, they look at me up and down to see if I "belong". Snobbery at it's finest. Half of the time they won't help you. They talk amongst each other at the register not even thanking me for my purchase. The young owner/manager ALWAYS has a scowl on her face and does not even attempt to greet customers - I would think for a small business, this would be pretty key. The final straw for me was when I brought in my kids to the store. Immediately I saw that the staff was NOT pleased. However, I know my kids and I knew they would be fine. And they were. They even walked with their hands behind their back and only looked with their eyes per mommy's instructions. When we got to the back of the store, they did play with some of the stuffed animals on display but immediately put them back. Not less than 20 seconds later and employee was back there huffing and puffing as she rearranged them "just so". Seriously. They are stuffed animals. All we wanted was to buy a special ornament for their daddy for Christmas. And instead we got a whole bunch of attitude in return for our purchase. I won't be back. There are plenty of other places in Katy that I can "shop small". read more
