Be warned on leather dining room chairs. It isn't leather. Probably bonded leather. I bought a teak table and 8 chairs about 7 years ago. They rarely get used, maybe 6 or 7 times a year. They are cracking and literally peeling all over. Maybe it's my fault for thinking a $300+ chair would be real leather. These pictures are just one of many spots on 6 different chairs. Two chairs with a different back material just might be real leather. read more

This place is AMAZING! I love their buyer's eye. Walk through it multiple times because you see something new every time through.... If you get a chance, walk through it with Sandra. She is super helpful with a wonderfully positive disposition. Have referred multiple people and they are all as happy as I am. read more

Home Source Furniture - Valencia 54 inch Table and Erik Wishbone Chairs - Furniture Stores Near Me - Houston, Texas

Was told about this place by an associate of the company. Was actually shopping with my daughter. The associate told us that this warehouse might have what we were looking for at affordable prices. So we checked it out. What my daughter and I liked most was the fact that she could mix and match her pieces. And they had very unique pieces. She found exactly what she wanted here. We will be going back. Loved this place. Glenda read more

Home Source is new to the Houston area and what a welcome addition. Amazing selection. You can find any kind of furniture you want, from low priced basic to solid wood with dovetailed joints and dowels. Upholstery furniture from economically assembled to high end 8 way hand tied coil foundations. The non-commission staff was great. No following you around hounding you trying to pressure you into a sale. I am in the furniture fabric, vinyl and leather business and found this store to be one of the best. read more

I'm so hesitant to write this review because even though Home Source is located in the busiest area of town, I feel it is a hidden gem that I want to keep all to myself. Walking in I honestly wasn't expecting much other than perhaps some really expensive furniture (I mean, it is practically across the street from Roche Bobois) or home goods comparable to Kirklands (not that Kirklands is bad but......). **SHOCK** Affordable, one of a kind, beautifully unique pieces! I found a super cool dining table and coffee table made from reclaimed wood that I fell in LOVE with (please, please, please no one on Yelp snatch it up from me!). They also had a bunch of really unique vases made from some type of wood which were somewhat pricy ($75 price range) but artistic enough to justify the price. On top of the fabulous merchandise, the staff was very helpful and very nice. After Eurway shut it doors I was somewhat concerned as to where I would be purchasing furniture. Ikea is wayyyyyy to cheap for my tastes and Star & Ashley Furniture is not really the style I'm after. Although Home Source is absolutely nothing like Eurway style-wise (i.e. the furniture is not modern at all) I surprisingly really liked it! When we purchase our next home I definitely plan on returning here to pick up some key pieces. I'll be sure to update this review when I return. read more

WOW! This place is a GEM! I'm an interior designer and am always looking for trendy eclectic furniture finds. I've never found a single location that has so many unique statement pieces! I'm kind of obsessed. The salesman I worked with was extremely personable and knowledgable about every piece (and cute too!) I'd say the best thing about this place is the prices. Being in the design industry it is not rare to spend thousands upon thousand of dollars on a single sofa or dining room table, i definitely experienced a case of sticker shock in a good way today! I will absolutely be frequenting this furniture establishment on a regular basis! read more

Wow, this place has some beautiful items and they are very well priced!! I am always attracted to carved wood and this place had it wall to wall. Beautiful imported pieces with various finishes applied to them. I was especially attracted to a dining table and chairs with a neat turquoise patina to it. It was a lovely piece and very substantial and well made. It just didn't quite suit my dining room but I highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the market for some furniture. read more

If you're looking for rustic & one-of-a-kind pieces that won't completely obliterate your budget, give this showroom a visit. Home Source is a great alternative to cookie-cutter furniture store chains but not nearly as expensive as other boutique showrooms on Post Oak. PRO TIP: check out their warehouse showroom in Katy for even more variety. It's seriously HUGE. 1055 W Sam Houston Pkwy N read more

Great selection of solid wood and other quality furniture; very helpful staff and good prices.

Don't be fooled by the pretty furniture. If you want pieces that are well-made and that you'll still call well-made after six months or three years, go elsewhere. We've bought three major pieces of furniture for our home over the last three years - a dresser, a TV stand-type thing, and our dinner table and chairs. After three years, I've lost faith in Home Source as two of our dining room chairs are now detaching at the joint. and one is also coming apart just below the cushion. When I called to ask what they could do about it, they told me that "even though the furniture is no longer under warranty, they would repair them for me as a courtesy for $50 each." First, "as a courtesy," really? You made a product that doesn't last and you have the nerve to charge me $50 to fix it AS A COURTESY?! Second, when I inquired as to how they'd repair the chairs, they said they'd just glue them back together. Um, if gluing is all you're doing, I'll save myself the money, buy some glue at Home Depot and do it myself. But also: this is probably part of the problem -- glue is not going to hold chairs together. Finally, chairs are for sitting in. If they're not, they belong in an art gallery, not a furniture store. My mother has chairs that she's had for forty years and they haven't fallen apart, but these chairs can't withstand the weight of my 24-pound daughter and 180-pound husband, respectively? Talk about terrible quality (even though they look pretty otherwise). I've also noticed that the varnish used to finish our table has been coming off for at least the last two years. Even worse: the dresser that we just bought in October is impossible to open. My husband and I both tested the drawers of all of the dressers we considered before purchasing this one, and the drawers on this dresser opened just fine when it was delivered. But in the six months since we bought it, the drawers seem to have expanded, as neither my husband nor I can open at least three of the six drawers. As you can imagine, that makes it a real challenge to put away laundry and, still worse, to get it out. Needless to say, we've bought our last furniture here, which makes me a little sad because I loved the look of all the pieces we have when we first bought them. read more

This hidden gem nestled in the galleria area is more than a specialty furniture store. It is curated with fabulous pieces from all over the world. I had just moved back to Houston and was in dire need of a new bed. I went to high fashion home, pottery barn, cantoni, nadeau and finally found one at restoration hardware that was on the cusp of hitting my taste. RH delivery timeframe was 13+ weeks and overpriced. Given that I wasn't completely in love with the bed I held off and wanted to check out one more store a girlfriend told me about ... Home Source! I went to their Post Oak location (I found out they have a warehouse with a ton more inventory off of I-10 near city center) and found my amazing bed! The staff was very helpful and thorough. My king bed was delivered by two very nice gents the very next day! They brought it up to my third floor master bedroom and assembled it. I appreciated their thought and care in coming through my house and making sure to not hit the walls or scratch the floor- they were seamless. I am heading back to their post oak location where they have the deep blue crocodile chair with brass legs (saw it in Luxe Magazine) - so chic and I have to have it so please save one for me!!! Thanks home source for helping me add style, comfort and statement to my home! read more

Very interesting store that imports from India, although I have suspicions things might be getting replicated from China. Solid, interesting, unique furniture at very reasonable prices. Large pieces for big Texas homes. Some Asian influence pieces similar to Vietnam and Bali. Definitely go to the warehouse off Beltway 8, near City Center to get a full experience of the volumes of product. Tip: take pictures of the things you like with the tag to remember because there are several rooms to go through and you will not want to go back. read more

I have 2 great pieces that I bought at this store 2 years ago. I was thrilled to find the store in the first place - it looks like a generic discount chain from the outside, but the inside is like a jewel box. I was recently in town and went back, hoping to see something worthy of paying a big delivery fee. But it seems like the prices have gone up and I didn't see anything really great (obviously the selection is always changing, but I was disappointed in the overall choice that day). I also noticed that a lot of pieces had been shellacked, while mine are not (mine = good). I hope they aren't taking a turn for the worse. I used to love this shop! Check it out, but be cautious with your credit card. read more

I love this store. I had been shopping for the perfect dining room table for our new house. As you can imagine like most I have champagne taste and a beer budget. The tables I like are made out of reclaimed wood and look rustic. They usually range from $3500 and up. I found the perfect table for $899. Not only is it the crowning jewel in that room it's big enough to fit 8 comfortably. One guest gushed that she has a similar table but spent $3200. Love my table, love the store and the employees. Definitely going back to add those finishing touches to each room. read more

We searched ALL over the greater Houston area...until we, unfortunately, bought our living room furniture from a chain store I won't name. It fell apart literally before we could get it home & my husband had to repair it before we could use it. BUT -- we thankfully found HOME SOURCE FURNITURE before we redecorated our bedroom. The difference in craftsmanship, style, and durability is like the difference between a stick of uncooked spaghetti & a cypress tree! We are never looking back - from now on our furniture is HOME SOURCE FURNITURE! read more

Just visited Houston for the first time and I stumbled upon an amazing furniture store called Home Source. The selection of solid wood furniture from all over the world was awesome as were the prices. The sales staff was super friendly and seemed pretty knowledgeable about the furniture. I wished I had more time because walking through their showroom there is so much to see. They also have a warehouse showroom which they said was huge with even more to see but time did not permit me to visit. Next time I'm in Houston I will definitely check out the warehouse. read more

Best furniture store in town for unique and one-of-a-kind finds. Independently owned and operated with wonderful customer service. I have been a returning customer for over 10 years and still see the same employee faces when I visit the store today. I recently had a stranger in my home that commented, "Wow, you must travel a lot!" I replied, "No, my furniture store does and I buy it from them!" Skip the big box furniture stores selling mass produced furniture and head to Home Source (both locations!) for selections imported from all over the world! read more

I have been shopping at Home Source for many years. I also have recommended them to my friends for as many years. They are always courteous and helpful every time I go in. If you visited my home, you would think you were in the Home Source showroom. They have unique and exciting pieces to enrich any room. I love going to the warehouse to see what new items have come in and see what I can't live without! Five stars from me! read more
