We visited several places and then remembered that the place we got our mattress (Texas Mattress Makers) also did sectionals, etc. This places looks like a big warehouse when you drive up but when you walk inside you see that it is a nice place to shop. Living Designs has a large selection to choose from and the best thing is that they love making custom furniture., We were greeted by Dean. He showed us around, told us about the furniture that was on the floor and answered all our questions. The best thing about getting furniture from Living Designs is that ALL the furniture is made here in Houston Texas. All the material that is used in make the furniture is sourced in the USA. Living Designs has lots of different styles to choose from and lots of different fabrics to choose from also. Frame has a lifetime warranty under normal wear. Foam has a 1 year warranty. Sewing has a 3 year warranty. Fabric has a 1 year warranty. Dean made us feel comfortable which is why we decided on Living Designs Furniture for the purchase of our custom made sectional. Delivery was in a timely manner for furniture which was custom made. So far we are pleased with our sectional from Living Designs Furniture. They are cracking and literally peeling all over. Maybe it's my fault for thinking a $300+ chair would be real leather. These pictures are just one of many spots on 6 different chairs. They gave us options on the timing, communicated well, and the guys who delivered it were absolutely top notch. They gave me a heads up when they were 15 minutes out, arrived within their window, brought it upstairs without complaint, assembled it extremely quickly, and cleaned up all their trash.

I contacted them the next morning (not even 24 hours later) asking to cancel or exchange--even offering to spend more--but they refused due to an "as-is" policy. If a product has known issues, that should be disclosed upfront. Failing to do so is deceptive, I wasn't trying to return and walk away--I was willing to buy something else--but they wouldn't work with me at all. When they sell furniture there that has been discontinued it is probably has nothing to do with the manufacturer not making it anymore, it is because there were reported problems with it.
