this place is so sick! i'm so glad i stopped by. private parking lot which is great. the entrance is a bit weird as it is connected to couple of other stores but not hard to find. i came here to get some inspiration and find new local artists to support. Jess, the store owner, was so personable and kind. she knew who the artists were and the backstory of their pieces.. i thought many artworks were super unique and cool. my favorites were pieces by Tom Rye, Love Chai Chi, and couple of others... and the wood puzzle board made by a retired pilot.. overall so many talented people!!! overall i really like this small shop and would recommend you to check it out!

    Local artists art!

Whimsy and Artisan is a special place because it gives beginner artist who want to be known a shot to be discovered! Personally I have made great new artist friends through Whimsical boutique. The staff are kind and welcoming people, who love to help customers and artist buy and sell unique art pieces!

Pricing for the museum is $24. There are several garages in the area to park at and parking is charged a hourly rate. Unfortunately I was short on time but was able to visit the Frida collection, Aztec civilization, and Islamic Art collections. All of the art work was unique. The Frida collection was extremely popular and that's where most of the museums visitors spent their time. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here and wish I had more time to explore. They do have several dining options at the museum including a Michelin star French restaurant, Le Jardinier. The menu looks great and looks like they had a lunch 2 course option there for $45.

I decided to upgrade my ticket for an additional $10 to access the special exhibits, and it was money well spent. The extra exhibits added so much more to the experience! Whether you're into art, history, or just looking for something fun to do, this is definitely a great way to spend a Thursday. Highly recommend checking it out!

We didn't go to all the tram stops (complimentary with your ticket), but we did stop at George W.S. Abbey Rocket Park Tour. It was cool to see! Other things you should know about the Space Center: -It's a huge campus, and the museum itself is only a small portion. -My wife went 15 years ago, and it's gotten a LOT better apparently. So if you haven't been in a decade or more, give it another shot. -They don't have much pertaining to the recent Artemis mission. We went as the astronauts were heading around the moon, but we didn't see any current info. -It's great for kids, especially over the age of six or so. -You should book some tours in advance. By the time we got up there, most things were sold out except Rocket Park. -Rocket Park is still cool. The sheer size of the Saturn is incredible. Take the little trolley and say hi to the longhorns. -The Food Lab (the food court) is hit or miss. The salad bar was surprisingly great, and the pizza is abysmal. DO NOT GET THE PIZZA. -You should go in with an open mind, ready to learn. That goes for everything, not just the Space Center. -You know where astronauts hang out? At the space bar.
