********FAST SERVICE********** I placed an order online for store pickup because I noticed an email with a coupon for a discount. I decided to make an online order and pickup in store. After placing my order. I noticed how close I was to this location and decided to stop in before my order was ready for pickup. I was greeted by Joann the front store attendant. She was so polite, kind, happy and ready to assist in anyone possible. I explained about placing an order online and requesting to pickup before it was ready. I even offered to go on the shelves myself and fetch the items. The moral of the coupon was in order to redeem the order needed to be placed online for delivery or pickup in store. JOANN notified me she would contact manager and see what is the best plan to assist me. Now let me digress for one moment. I noticed an African AMerican lady working diligently in the store, picking flowers, organizing store, answering phone and fulfilling orders. I was impressed with her resilience ; however, I was thinking she has to be EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH. Unbeknownst to me she was the manager I was waiting on to fulfill my order. She politely asked some questions and assisted me immediately. I had already shopped for the items, she apologized for not hearing the device chime to notify of a new order. I was not in a hurry and politely told her I was more impressed with her working skills than worrying about my products. MRS DONNA was the best with whom I have ever encountered at this location. The store was clean, quiet, calm and friendly. No matter who walked in the door they were both eager to help and provide assistance. read more

Always friendly service and I got HUGE discounts last week! I love their variety of products.

Their framing department does excellent work and is very helpful. The store is clean and neat and always has unique treasures to be found. If you can't find something the staff is polite and helpful showing you where things are. The only down side to me is the store is so popular there is normally a long checkout line. read more

I have to update this and say that things have completely changed here since I posted this review! Jennifer is the BESTTTTTTT person who works at michaels, literally she is so awesome! I don't ever have to deal with anyone else working there but I can say that Jennifer is the BOMB!! Checkout has been faster since she started working there & she's so sweet! 5 stars now! :) The people who work here are nice. I use Michael's for work so I am here a lot and I just have to say that the amount of time I spend standing in line here is RIDICULOUS. If you want to get in and get out order online because the checkers are slow and they don't care how long the line is they will keep 1 person on the checkout and then have a bunch of random employees walking around doing nothing. read more

Great store. It's obviously fairly new, and it's clean and well organized. They have a nice frame shop as you walk in, and you see isle after isle of craft supplies. You'll find cake decorating supplies, candy making items, seasonal decor and projects, stickers, yarn, a few mosaic supplies, craft projects for kids, books and tons more. Seasonal items are usually in the back, and I find sale items near the registers. Most of the employees are nice, except for one woman who seemed pretty annoyed last time I was there. She was sighing, rolling her eyes as customer's behind their backs, and tossing things around a bit. Maybe she was just having a particularly bad day, but that kind of behavior reflects poorly on an otherwise very nice store. I'm still giving it five stars because that's the only negative associate that I've encountered, and it's usually a nice place to shop. read more

Okay, I am only sent to this store by my creative wife. This store does not appeal to me, and I noticed their candy is horribly overpriced. I am calling the FCC and SEC about this travesty of confectionery injustice! I noticed that this store has millions of decorative tools and even costumes. It seems as though if you are looking good clearance deals on holidays and seasons that passed already, essentially stocking up for the next time, then you should check here. I saw some items that were priced to move. I had no idea where to look for the item that my wife wanted, and I was pleasantly surprised that the cashier shut down her lane to personally bring me to the item that I so poorly described! Great customer service points there. I made it to another cashier and made an inquiry about possible smart phone coupons, and she told me not to both and scanned a coupon paper for me...another customer service point. Oh well, this place is legit. Because I am not a creative person, and this store reminds me of just that fact, it will not get 5 stars...for mental anguish! read more

Want to give a shout out to Sam, the store manager. He was so patient, friendly and has restored a negative opinion to a positive about this store. I usually shop at this store and have had to speak to a manager before who was very negative, arrogant and seemed to care less about customers. Sam, on the other hand, was completely the opposite, polite, patient, very helpful. If his attitude and customer service could be put in a bottle and sold, he would be a rich man. I love this store. Michaels has a different culture for their business. They are not service on the customer based-(i used to work in retail-the industry is a small one- you learn a lot about other retailers ). But I know they are working on it. This store surprises me every time! Last time I was in there I was wasn't greeted but was asked if I needed help more than once. It was a little messy but only because they got all their wonderful Christmas stuff and needed more time (I think usually it's done overnight )than a regular shipment night to get it all out and arranged. Also, there is a lovely blond girl who is a cashier there. She always does the right thing customer service wise. I still have friends in the retail industry and I've told them about her. Extremely rude service. I came to make a return and didn't know that Michael's wasn't taking returns due to the coronavirus. The lady working at the door was being extremely sarcastic with me and arguing with me because I had a return, without explaining why I couldn't go in. She laughed at me in my face and wasn't even maintaining a social distance, the manager then came out and said all retailers weren't accepting returns, although that's not true. Respectfully, all that needed to be said is that Michael's protocol is to not take returns during this time, and somebody could've told me when Michael's will accept returns again. The demeaning and belittling I experienced at Michael's today will ensure that they will never have my business again. Hopefully my day and mood can bounce back from what I just experienced. read more

I like this location. Items are most always in stock and there are plenty of people to ask for help. It feels kind of small considering the area but it's well organized and clean. Other than a specific color tulle I wanted, I was able to find most everything I needed for recent projects. Another thing I like is they have ideas right when you walk in. Projects you can really do yourself - not things they are selling, unlike some stores. It's a nice touch. read more

I had 3 family heirloom original pen and ink drawing that had been in the same frames for 50 years. Christy was wonderful to work with, she talked me through thir specials and provided her recommendations for mat color and coordinating frames. She was exceptional to work with. The framing took about 2 weeks and Christy was there when I picked them up. We took a quick look and they were so perfect! I love the new look so much and that was all Cristy. I have a love-hate relationship with this chain. They usually stock less than Hobby Lobby and are more expensive, but they are open on Sunday. I went this time for stamp carving items and ink. The ink was easier to find than at their competitor and they even had a pamphlet telling you which ink pad to buy depending on your intentions. Unfortunately, I couldn't find an empty ink pad like I could at their competitor - lots of ink tubes, but nowhere to put them! I will still come here though if I find I really need something on a Sunday! read more

They're never fully prepared for the kids craft classes. Been here 4 times so far for classes but today's was the worst, which is why I'm finally writing a review. So for Easter's decorate your egg, they didn't have any eggs to decorate. ???? You knew this was coming up, how could you not be prepared???? We've come in other times when it was a paint day and they didn't have paint brushes... but not having the main item, eggs, to paint on is a problem. We waisted our time driving over here. And according to the teacher, they sold out of the eggs last week... Anyway, like the other people are mentioning, the lines are always way too long... read more

The worst customer service in all of retail. The employees are not very friendly and I have seen them multiple times on their phones etc at check out. The check out line is so long all the time!!! The store is crowded and messy. It's definitely worth your time to drive to another store. You will spend the same time waiting in line. read more

I observed a Michael's employee smoking outside the store and then throw the remainder of the cigarette on the ground. When I approached her about her poor behavior and how it was detrimental to the birds and just overall trashy, she basically laughed in my face. Turns out she is a manager. She needs some remedial training and should be demoted. read more

Yes, the lines are always long. But the people here are super helpful and they have a lot of great crafting, special occasion and holiday decor. Plus there is always a sale on something, and add a coupon from retail me not on top of that and I hardly ever walk out paying full price. That's a win in my book. read more

Very disappointed with this Michaels, not only is the store unorganized but every time I go here I always get horrible customer service. This is the 5th time I'm here and this is the 5th time I've gotten horrible service. Bad attitude, eye rolling followed by a long sigh, or being ignored. I will never return. The store itself is nice. Well organized and clean. Nice savings with coupons and everyday sales comparable to hobby lobby. I have 2 issues with the store. The last time I came in, there was an issue checking out (network?) today same issue. I waited well over 25 minutes attempting to pay and possibly a network issue. Not a big deal. What made me upset was the complete lack of customer service and team work their manager, Gia, lacked. How she managed to become manager is beyond me, the checker, Matt, was helping to train a new employee and checking out his own customers while trying to keep everyone happy and resolve the issues. He seemed very genuine and helpful, Gia literally shrugged and said 'they're just going to have to wait it out' ..25 minutes at the register I feel was quite patient. She never made eye contact with me nor offered another option to check out. Meanwhile she continues to check out everyone else in line and I'm still standing there with my newborn who was not handling the situation very well. Hindsight, I should've left everything at the register and left but I wasn't in too much of a hurry so decided to hang in there. Very frustrating experience today. The staff was friendly but this store is very behind the times in having a "store pickup" option, I thought it would be easier to stop by after work instead of having my package sitting on my doorstep all day....Wrong, at first they couldn't find my order then once it was found the package was EMPTY. The service at this location is horrible. This store is close to my home and extremely convenient. Yet every time I step foot in this place I wish I hadn't. After dealing with yet another rude employee unwilling to properly handle a situation in which I was overcharged, I can safely say I'm done with Michael's. They won't see another dime from me. I don't care what deals and coupons they have running because it just isn't worth my time and effort. While getting all of the items I needed would have involved visiting a couple of stores, I think at the end of the day it would have been far more satisfying and less stressful experience. read more

If you enjoy waiting in line to give people your money, then this is the place for you. They seldom have more than one (very slow) checkout line. On more than one occasion I have simply given up, set my items down, and walked out. I'm not sure how this place stays in business. read more
