It is a 4 week process though. You come in to throw your piece of work and then you have to go back 2 weeks after to paint and fire your works of art! I'm so hooked now I want to sign up for their classes! Come wearing cloths you don't mind getting dirty and with a group of friends or solo! I had a wonderful time painting and chatting here with my friends this past weekend. We came in during the evening time and stayed till a little past closing to finish our pieces, and Mark was absolutely amazing and so patient in helping us wrap up and clean up. I have been to other pottery painting places in the past, but this place by far has the best selection of items at a super reasonable price range. I found multiple items that I would've wanted to paint and take home. During the time there, Mark made sure that our group was well taken care of, understood the use of the brushes and tools, and shared fun stories and jokes while passing by us every once in a while. With the music in the background and the colorful walls surrounding you, this is a great space to channel your artistic talents and have a good time away from the hustle and bustle of life.

They cleared out "the party room" and gave us our own space. Also, it's BYOB and Specs is 3 doors down.. so we got a few beverages before beginning. The owner of this establishment, Lottie, is a former teacher and she really enjoys taking the time to help you pick the right colors and learn the techniques and understand the process. As a group we decided to draw names out of a hat and paint a mug for the name we drew. Good times. Each piece was under $20 and we were there for 3 hours painting. Honestly, it's one of the more inexpensive excursions a group of adults can do and being able to take something hand painted home from the day is a beautiful reminder of a moment of time. We never felt rushed to leave and any questions we had were answered immediately and in a way we could understand. I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.

You simply pick the pottery you want to paint, and the price is listed on the bottom of each piece, which makes it easy to choose. We spent about two hours painting and had a lot of fun with it. After you're finished, they keep the piece for about three days so it can be fired and cured in the kiln. Overall, it was a really fun and relaxing experience.

All their set ups are so cute and there are plenty of learning stations for kids too. It's a great variety of stations for all kinds of interests. They give you a token to redeem for a free snack at the end of your visit which my kiddo loves every time we come here. The staff is always very friendly too. The only thing I don't love is that you have to make a reservation for the play session you want and it's not that long. I can understand that it's probably for the purpose of cleaning in between sessions and regulating the amount of people coming in but I think for the price it should be longer play times. I also wish there was a membership option. But other than that we still love it here.
