Throughout the event I had to repeatedly go back and forth with staff to clarify these issues, which made the experience frustrating and unenjoyable. They also attempted to charge us an additional $200 for a game that I was clearly told was included in the mixed birthday package -- something I confirmed with them at least three times prior to the event. In addition, the facility itself needs serious attention. It was not clean, masks were falling off the kids' faces, the venue appeared dirty, and the bathrooms were out of toilet paper. Overall, the space does not seem well maintained and requires much-needed upkeep. It felt like the venue was overbooked and unable to deliver on what was promised, with many inconsistencies throughout the event. Because of this experience, we will not be returning.

In the past, we've used this card between three people and it's ample play. There is usually a 10-15 second wait time. This time, between three kids, the wait time wouldn't work even after a minute of waiting. This wasted around 10 minutes of our play time of the 60 minutes just trying to get it to work. I went up to the front desk, where there was one attendant. She was friendly but slow and it seemed like another ten minutes until it was my turn. I told her my problem and asked her for another card because this one was obviously not working. She told me I should switch to 60 points because that's the equivalent of one hour. I asked for a replacement card but she just told me to switch for 60 points. Fine, whatever will get it to work. Our kids are antsy. She disappeared for another 10-15 minutes, and I waited while there was no attendant in the front to a long line. Eventually she got the manager to help her who then started explaining things to me as if it was user error. Then he told me I had 50 points. I told him I thought it was 60 points. No, he said, because there was 10 minutes used on the 60 minute card. At that point, I was so over the wait and the obvious lack of efficiency and actual problem solving from the staff and three antsy kids that had been waiting to play that I just accepted it. 50 points should last 50 minutes right? The three kids used up the points in around 30 minutes, not 60. I saw within 5 minutes, another mother struggling with her play card with timed unlimited play and asked me how to resolve it. This was obviously a systemic issue, as I saw the attendants then testing cards later. They did not address that we had essentially been gypped of playing time. I wanted to purchase more playing time and pizza when we first arrived, because we were so excited, but after seeing the lack of timeliness and care to even provide a meaningful time, I didn't want to bother. And why charge $2 for wristbands for the playing cards? The place is spacious and clean and otherwise seems okay. This was definitely not the standard of other Chuck E. Cheese's we've been to and not worth the hassle.

I had a wonderful time painting and chatting here with my friends this past weekend. We came in during the evening time and stayed till a little past closing to finish our pieces, and Mark was absolutely amazing and so patient in helping us wrap up and clean up. I have been to other pottery painting places in the past, but this place by far has the best selection of items at a super reasonable price range. I found multiple items that I would've wanted to paint and take home. During the time there, Mark made sure that our group was well taken care of, understood the use of the brushes and tools, and shared fun stories and jokes while passing by us every once in a while. With the music in the background and the colorful walls surrounding you, this is a great space to channel your artistic talents and have a good time away from the hustle and bustle of life.

We went on a Saturday, and it was packed, which makes sense with all the birthday parties happening. Even with the crowd, the staff was friendly, attentive, and seemed to do a good job keeping an eye on everything. The only downside was the women's restroom. The stalls definitely need more attention throughout the day. Since everyone is walking around in socks, it'd be nice if they were checked and cleaned more often. We came back a few times and found urine on the floor, and one stall even had dried blood. Aside from the restroom, the facility itself looked surprisingly clean considering how busy it was. Check in was quick if you complete a waiver beforehand. The front desk employee was very kind & welcoming. There are two timed rooms with various inflatable obstacle courses. I like how the whole room is private & the kids move from one room to the next altogether. The play area accommodates a good range of age groups including toddlers. After the two rooms, they led us into the party room and the birthday kid gets to sit in a huge inflatable chair. The staff immediately started serving the food. The pizza was pretty decent and I applaud the employee for keeping the drink pitchers well stocked especially how thirsty all the kids were from jumping. I think they had forgotten the chicken for the adults but it came out fairly quickly afterwards. There were venue themed party favor bags passed out at the end, which was full of fun goodies that all kids were super excited about. There are, I believe 2 rooms with 2 bouncy houses in them where kids can run bounce and play and they have hand sanitizer everywhere. The bday party is super easy for parents, the employees do all the heavy lifting. They hype up the kids, guide them from room to room, lead singing happy birthday to the bday kid and serve the food to all the children. They leave the food out buffet style in the back of the room for the adults to serve themselves. They also take pics of all the kiddos while they're playing and then a montage of all the pics is shown on the screen in the pizza party room while they're eating. The kids loved seeing themselves in all the photos. It was so cute to watch them look at all the pics. More importantly, they absolutely loved the bouncy houses which seemed perfect for pre school to elementary aged children. Great job Pump It Up staff! Went here for pottery painting. The night before I looked up on their website to check if they…read moreaccepted walk-ins b/c when searching up on Google their name was listed as only "Cordovan Art School" (no pottery parlor). The website stated in bold letters "walk-ins always welcome". However, when I got to the store they had a sign posted on the door saying walk-ins were only allowed from 4:30 to 7:00. This was listed nowhere on the website. Quite inconvenient. As far as paint quality goes, pretty decent. They had a variety of brushes and tools for painting and they gave visuals of how each color bakes with 1, 2, and 3 coats so you have a good idea of how your piece will turn out. I was very disappointed with the finished product after glazing though. There were speckles of colors that I did not have anywhere in my piece and smudges (maybe from overcrowding the kiln? Not sure). Also, I believe they did not correctly glaze my piece as there appeared to be milky drips baked onto my piece that I assume to be extra glaze that dripped down and baked when firing. Quite disheartening as I took the entire 4:30-7:00 time to paint my piece and make it perfect only for it to be messed up during the firing process. The staff were fairly nice except for who I assume to be the owner. The day I went to paint with friends (unaware of the time rule because it wasn't on the website) we arrived at 3:30. The front of the store which featured tables, paint, and pottery pieces was completely empty. So, my friend decided just to ask if we could paint earlier since it was not too far from the walk-in hours (if not, no harm done. Just worth a shot to ask). The owner sharply responded with "No. Absolutely not." with some other explanations about camp. We were totally fine with being told no (again no harm done just worth a shot), but a nicer tone would have been appreciated. Another rude interaction was when I went to pick up my piece. My mother decided to come with me as she had been wanting to paint pottery and wanted to check out the studio. When the owner was asked about their opening hours by my mother (who is hard of sight and who did not get a chance to read the door since I opened it for her), she responded "It's on the door." (referring to the sign posted on printer paper) in a harsh, belittling tone. While I do get it can be frustrating to be asked a question when you have a sign, it does not take much effort to simply answer when asked. She also explained how the new hours were because the children were in camp and how pottery painters were not the priority (although pottery parlor is half of their name so a little misleading). Overall, not a great experience. Don't think I would revisit.

She's 11 and very talented in drawing anime already, and I was hoping the class would broaden her horizons. After one week of camp, she brought home a total of THREE pictures - the mediums were paper, canvas, watercolor, pen, and pencil. They pretty much taught them to copy pictures of characters from Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and Demon Slayer... drawing anime characters is not the same as drawing manga. My daughter also confirmed that they didn't learn a single thing about manga art. While I loved the artwork she brought back, it was very similar to things she produces at home. I cannot wrap my head around what I paid $339 for. She went to a different camp every week in the Summer of 2022, from volleyball to coding, and even another art camp at Sugar Land Art Center & Gallery that cost half as much. Cordovan was the most expensive camp we sent her to, but the least rewarding. I would not send her again.
