Pro tip: Bring socks! Learn from our mistake... socks are required, and we ended up paying almost $7 for two pairs. Save yourself a few bucks and toss some in your bag before you go! This place is HUGE with plenty to keep kids entertained for hours. There are giant play structures, slides, a ball pit, oversized Legos, a dance floor, and so much more. It's the kind of place where you look at the clock thinking you've been there 30 minutes, and somehow it's been two hours. We went on a Saturday, and it was packed, which makes sense with all the birthday parties happening. Even with the crowd, the staff was friendly, attentive, and seemed to do a good job keeping an eye on everything. The only downside was the women's restroom. The stalls definitely need more attention throughout the day. Since everyone is walking around in socks, it'd be nice if they were checked and cleaned more often. We came back a few times and found urine on the floor, and one stall even had dried blood. Aside from the restroom, the facility itself looked surprisingly clean considering how busy it was. A spacious and clean indoor playground with various obstacle courses for kids. There is a toddler zone for young kids too. There is a good number of tables and chairs for adults to sit. No shoes are allowed beyond the entrance. All shoes are placed in bins and deposited at the front. Personally, I am not fond of this rule as shoes may be taken mistakenly. If you book a party with Kids Empire, they provide everything you need from the cake to decor and they also had Huggy the dragon come out for the kids. We opted out of their decor and brought our own. However, they literally provide everything you need for a party including plasticware, drinks, balloons as well as pizza and goodie bags for the kids. On May 30, 2026, I hosted a birthday party for my two daughters at Kid Empire Katy. Like many parents, I spent weeks planning this special day and trusted that Kid Empire would provide a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for our children and guests. Prior to the event, I paid a $150 deposit and fulfilled all of my responsibilities as a customer. Unfortunately, what should have been a joyful celebration turned into one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had. When we arrived, the staff immediately rushed us to pay the remaining balance. However, at no point before the party was I informed that the facility's air conditioning system was not working. Considering that this was Houston in late May, with extremely hot and humid weather, functioning air conditioning is not a luxury--it is a necessity, especially for young children. After noticing how unbearably hot it was inside, I asked a staff member why there was no air conditioning. I was told that their air conditioning units had been stolen and that replacement units were expected to arrive that day. Unfortunately, the replacement units never arrived before our event. Even worse, the party area assigned to us did not have adequate fans or ventilation to help with the heat. We had approximately 20 children attending the party. Within a short time, many of the children were drenched in sweat, their faces became bright red, and several appeared visibly uncomfortable. Parents began expressing concerns, and I became genuinely worried about the health and safety of the children. If my daughters had remained there another 10 to 15 minutes, I truly believe they could have suffered from heat exhaustion. Guests who had just arrived were forced to leave because the environment was simply unbearable. Children could not comfortably play, parents could not enjoy the celebration, and the entire atmosphere became stressful and concerning rather than fun and memorable. As a result, I had no choice but to cancel the birthday party and leave early. The most heartbreaking part was seeing the disappointment on my daughters' faces. They had been excited and looking forward to their birthday celebration, only to watch it fall apart because the facility was not properly prepared to host guests. A day that should have created happy childhood memories instead left them upset and heartbroken. What concerns me most is not just the lack of air conditioning, but the complete lack of transparency and professionalism. If management knew the facility was experiencing a major issue that affected the safety and comfort of customers, they should have informed us before the event and offered the option to reschedule or cancel. Instead, we were allowed to arrive, pay the remaining balance, and discover the problem ourselves. Adding to my frustration, we were unable to fully use the services we paid for. The children barely had the opportunity to play, our guests could not comfortably stay, and the party ended before anyone could properly enjoy the food, activities, or celebration. We did not receive the experience that was promised or paid for. Despite all of this, when I requested a full refund, I was offered only a 50% refund. I find this completely unreasonable and unfair. A 50% refund implies that we received half of the services and experience we paid for, which is simply not true. We were forced to leave because the facility failed to provide a safe and usable environment. The party was effectively ruined through no fault of our own. Families trust businesses like Kid Empire to provide safe conditions, honest communication, and professional service. Unfortunately, our experience fell far below those expectations. I strongly believe Kid Empire Katy should take full responsibility for this situation and provide a full refund. Unless this matter is resolved fairly, I cannot recommend Kid Empire Katy to other families, and I will not be returning in the future. read more

The bald man who is either the owner or the manager is the sole reason we will never return. When I come on my own with my daughter, he's all creepy smiles and never has a problem with bringing in my redbulls, tumblers or sippy cups. Additionally, I have always kept my shoe totes with me at my table where I can keep an eye on my belongings. Today, my husband comes with me and suddenly outside drinks are not allowed and shoe totes are not allowed at the tables. It's generally worth the coin. General admission is $20 per kid and tax. No AMEX here. Multiple adults max 2 per kid is free but it's $5 extra per adult if over the per kid ratio. There is a small toddler play area to the right. Inside the large general play area are game card enabled rides, power wheel type tho bf s. There's also other hidden charge game machines. While this is pretty standard for lots of places like these now, I think the best feature is no shoes allowed-- even for adults in the general hard wood area. It keeps it a little cleaner. The suck part about this place is the food selection though. If you're that hungry maybe leave to that buffet thing across the sidewalk . Fry and 99 is a busy area, if coming from fry take the light on Park Row and turn into the Starbucks and Planet Fitness area. read more

This place is okay. Staff is unbothered and make you feel like you are bothering them when asking them something. I kept seeing parents sitting in the play areas, preventing kids from passing through with no staff to redirect these rude parents. Kids were improperly using bikes on a long stretch that were NOT meant for bikes and my autistic children were run over as a result. Staff all gather at the cash registers... not that many people need to be there. This place is a great idea in theory but needs better management. read more

Horrible customer service/experience!! Had my daughter's 3rd birthday party here Jan 7th. I came in to book the party the beginning of November and answered all the questions pertaining to decorations, pizza amounts, if a cake was needed, seating area and all other specifics. I received a phone call from Jasmine a week prior to the party asking me all the same questions I had previously answered when the party was originally booked. When I asked her why was she asking the same questions she stated she was verifying the information, when I told her verifying is confirming what was already told but she was re-asking she then proceed to have an attitude. I requested a supervisor and she stated she was one, I think requested her manger she advised his name was West and he wasn't there I requested he have him give me a call. Fast forward to the day of the party I never got a call from West, when I arrived I wasn't greeted and immediately was asked to pay my remaining balance, talk about great customer service!!! I then advised Jasmine I never got a call from West and she advised he was there so I requested to speak to him, he stated he did call but did not leave a voicemail, if you have a customer with a complaint why wouldn't you leave a voicemail or email! I explained how unhappy I was to book a party months in advance and to the receive a call one week prior asking me all the same details I originally answered! He proceeded to say they have had a lot of new employees coming and going so it may have been a new employee that booked the party who did not put the info in the system. This may have been an ok response however when my party host introduced herself I realized it was the same person I booked the party with originally! The entire experience was crap!!! I had to pay for teens who are clearly at the age to not participate but since they were under the age of 18 and were attending my child's party I was charged for them! I was charged twice for the same transaction and when I showed West my bank account showing both transactions pending he lied and said it only went through once and will fall off which it never did I had to dispute the transaction through my bank!!! Several times the host was missing and we had to find her when we were the only party!! DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! read more
