Indoor fun to beat the Texas heat! Came to take our kids and since I have a pass, why not... I decided to play too! Pretty sure the guy at the front desk was shocked since he was already wrapping a spectator wristband on my hand. I shook off my nerves since you're seeing straight down when you're going up what felt like 50 flights of steep stairs and I ended up having the best time. 2 hours flew by literally. Unfortunately a lot of things were shut down but all in all we all had a great time. The play park is huge and netscape was interesting and challenging but my old butt was not going in there. Left that to our young ones. They have go karts, basketball, dodgeball, a swing and a free other activities. I was truly shocked at how much there was to do in the mall overall. You could spend the entire day there. They also have plenty of comfy seats to just kick back and they sell snacks but it's a mall so if you're hungry there's plenty of food outside of the park. I'm still trying to figure out the recycling gun station. Yuck. read more

Fun Once You're In, But Be Prepared for a Rough Start The check-in process really needs improvement. Even on a slow Monday, the line was long and painfully slow due to limited staff. Noah at the front desk was doing his absolute best (props to him!), but he was alone and clearly overwhelmed. Management -- give this guy some help! Heads up: the Groupon doesn't cover taxes or socks, so be ready to pay about $15 extra per person at the door. That wasn't clearly mentioned anywhere, which felt a bit sneaky. Once inside, the experience is much better. The slides are amazing -- well-designed, clean, and surprisingly varied. The bounce zones are split into dodgeball and basketball, which is fun, though some supervision or age separation would make it safer. There's a great toddler area (under 3.5 ft), but not much for kids just above that height -- a bit of a gap in options. The swing jump was nostalgic and fun, but poorly managed. Only one hook for two lines made the wait unnecessarily long, and there wasn't much staff presence to keep things moving. Concessions were fine -- typical venue pricing, nothing outrageous. Great park! I've never been to a spot like this. Think indoor water park without the water, or obnoxious long lines. A little different from a trampoline park. Yeah you can get a little injured if your are thicc and have your knees and elbows rub off of the mat you're sliding on. I would recommend wearing cotton long sleeve shirts and long pants for extra protection. It's great for the kids and great for adults who are still kids at heart. I like how it's free for spectators too. So many places gouge adults for going in to watch their kids. read more

And yes you have to climb these giant ass steps with linter room to even get onto the slide and there's 0 staff up there to maybe give a damn about your safety. his was our first time visiting and we really enjoyed it. My 12 year old and her friends had a great time on the slides. The lines to get on the slides were not long, and also the lines to buy tickets was not long. We were going to buy the tickets online but they have a convenience fee. You can however do the waiver in advance. The waiver is a bit extreme, I almost cancelled our visit because it includes waiving liability on them for their negligence and it says you will pay all pf THEIR attorney/mediation fees so be sure to read it. I also wish there was more signage on the entrance to let people know you have to come in through the mall. It's entrance 8 but it looks a bit abandoned. It needs an upgrade read more

I attended a birthday party at this facility, and while the building itself is clean, well-maintained, and generally enjoyable, my experience was overshadowed by an unfortunate incident and disappointing customer service. During the party, the assigned table collapsed. The host informed us that, per the manager, guests affected by the incident could receive a complimentary beverage at the concession stand. When I went with a family member to request the drink, we were met with unpleasant and unprofessional behavior. The staff--who appeared to be a group of young employees--told us the drinks had already been "replenished," made dismissive remarks under their breath, exchanged looks, displayed attitude, and were confrontational for no reason. It was uncomfortable and unwelcoming. When I attempted to clarify the situation with additional staff, I was told something completely different. The lack of communication and the disrespectful demeanor from the concession team completely ruined the experience. Despite the nice facility, the customer service was frustrating enough that I left early and will not be returning. A business can have great amenities, but the staff's attitude makes all the difference--unfortunately, that's where this place fell short. read more

We had such a great time at this place!! My husband and I had no idea it actually even existed. My kids had the time of their lives at Slick City. They have food, drinks, slides and even a small activity area for kids 3 and under which is kind of closed off just in case you have "a runner!" They also host birthday parties! The only downside to this establishment is sometimes, the kids do not exit off of the bottom of slides soon enough. I saw a few times that it caused some chaos and there many need to be staff put in each area to remind the children to "get up and keep going". However, the landing spaces are big enough for it not to cause any real threat. I am sure we will be back soon for more fun and excitement. . .OH! And there were a few areas that were shut down. Maybe because of staff shortage during the time that we went but we hope to catch all of it when we go back! read more

Could be really fun if major modifications were made. This may be fun for young children who don't mind aggressive play but this was actually a really painful experience for several adults. The slides where you fly off and are launched onto an inflatable landing pad - the pads are very hard and you will inevitably bonk your face/nose flat into it. Be warned. Other landing areas do not have inflatable bumpers at the end and you will inevitably slide off the landing pad into the hard floor. I rolled over my knuckles holding the sliding pad and am all swollen and bruised, whacked my foot on the edge of a slide and it hurts to walk, got a huge burn on my elbow when my arm moved off the pad after getting some serious air after one of the bumps in the slide and landing wonky, and smacked my face into the landing pad. You can follow all the rules and do your best to protect yourself but you will inevitably get hurt. 3 adults for 90 min experiences with socks was over a hundred dollars and we all left injured. It took the fun out of it. Luckily it wasn't too crowded so we didn't have to wait for a mat as other reviewers did. But the bathrooms were wet and messy and the go karts and lockers were out of order. The staff was also extremely rude and inattentive. The "attendants" at the top of the slides were on their phones instead of watching the kids and letting other customers know when it was their time to slide safely. Took our kids to the small kids area and it was fun! The kids kind of ran out of things to do but they had a large area to run around and climb up and down things. Sucks you have to buy the non slip socks because they weren't cheap but I did see people not wearing the branded Slick City socks so there's that. They didn't really enforce the timing but we also didn't stay over our time. Parking is easy because it's the mall and the place is clearly labeled from the outside of the mall so you know where to park as you drive around it. read more

Double check with your children before arriving here if they are ok with the heights to slide down and that it is only face down position only. If your kids are adventurous with the adrenaline this is the place for them. You can buy tickets online, they have 2 lines, one for walk ins I showed my kids the internet influencers ad and they were sold... but when we got there they went to excitement to feeling intimidated and fear when going to the top. So they did not do a single slide. Luckily for the playground to keep them company but mom math 2 kids for almost $80 with the grip socks for 90 mins to play but ended being there for less than an hour. Also It doesn't tell you on your wrist band what time you begin or when your time is up. My rating is not based off on my kids not sliding, just what I observed how the facility operates while my kids enjoyed the playground area. They have a 2 dodgeball area that got taken up by older teens and there are 2 basketball court. One was broken I didn't realize it until I saw the court was semi inflated. They did a poor job on closing it off and no signs that say out of order. They had a gate that was supposed to block the entrance but it got knocked over. Honestly someone could've gotten hurt. Also I'm confused on the sock situation I saw the employee told another customer they need to use Slick City brand socks but when it was my turn they asked if I had my own grip socks similar to them that 'trampoline places' sell. As for the restrooms it's disgusting to take young children and everything seems broken from no toilet paper holder to rolls on the floor instead and the paper towel situation. For a new facility this bathroom looks pretty beat up and unattended. We were told it's more hectic on the weekends when there's bday parties so I can't imagine the madhouse. read more

Lots of slides, some can be high and scary. They have mats laying all @ the park or inside buckets. Safety: I did not see any employees monitoring kids running @. Kids are everywhere and no monitoring at entrance/exit. It is inside a mall so it's easy for anyone to go in or kids to walk out. Not all slides had a person in charge. Everything is clean for now... while it's new. - FREE electric shock therapy. I was shocked on almost every ride from friction. - Don't wear nice pants (burnt holes in mine) (see pics) - ⁠go early, right as they open. Lines got really long. - ⁠bring a bag to put stuff in or be prepared to pay $6 for a locker. - they force you to buy socks even if you bring grip socks that an extra $5 a person. - ⁠tell your kids to keep their heads up so many kids chipped teeth and banged their heads on the drop slides in only the 2 hours we were there. - Food prices... $13 bucks for a small kid pizza. This was so much fun. I'll be honest some slides look pretty intimidating at first. But it's such a great experience for all ages. You go fave first on these slides. And be careful. It is easy to get a scrape or scratch from coming down. It's located inside of the mall so I suggest parking near the movie theater so you don't have to walk through the mall. read more

My son loves this place so we held his birthday party here. He had a blast! But if you want a place where you can relax and you don't have to do anything, you shouldn't hold a party here! They assign a party host, but they literally just brought the pizza and cut the cake. We didn't even know who our person was for the first 30 minutes. We set everything up, cleaned up everything between the pizza and the cake, and had to remind them a couple times for announcements and drink pitcher refills. They didn't even fill the cups for the kids or pass out napkins, utensils, etc. I think they may have spent a total of 3 minutes with our table. When it came time to pay, they ask if you want to leave a tip instead of letting you fill out the screen, which is smart on their part. To ask for a tip was crazy to me since they didn't even do their job to begin with. Oh, and random kids were added to our tab, so they definitely need to improve their controls around checking in and party management. It's a fun place for kids! I visited here and wondered why it gets such low ratings, but now I know why. Too few employees at registers checking customers in, and at times too few at the cafe. In addition, on many occasions, I saw multiple employees congregating and talking. Why not place more staff on the registers? There are long lines out into the mall for both people looking to purchase tickets, and for those who have already purchased online; however, when no one staffs the register, or the employees walk away numerous times for extended periods of times and disappeared behind the back area while all these customers are just waiting, it really turns into a cluster. We reserved a time of 3pm and purchased tickets ahead, but we are still waiting in line at 315 and still a couple of customers in front of us. By the time we finally got to the front, all of a sudden, 2 groups tried to cut in front of us. I confronted both of course since thats how i am...and one group told me the lady at the back of line in the mall (an employee) told her to go straight to the front....and bypass all the other customers who had already waited at least 45 mins to get to that spot. The 2nd lady said she was with a group, and her start time was 130. It's not my fault she is late. Get in the back of the purchased tickets line! I eventually was able to make my way in front of both of these cutters. I told the lady she was in the wrong check-in line....there is a line by the cafe for event check-in, since she was here for an event. The guy didn't give me any problem, thankfully, because he was just clueless and decided to try and cut in front of 40+ customers and hoping none noticed. There are no shoe bins, but everyone must take off their shoes to play and use theor socks. I'm guessing this place exceeded the fire code the day I went ....there was no way there were enough lockers for every person if they chose to use them. The lockers are well hidden too, not where you would expect them. They're next to the event room, a large open room at the back left for b-day parties. The restrooms could use some help/repair. Both toilet paper holders were missing from the stalls. One stall didn't have any TP at all. The other only had a tiny little bit for a whole day. Geez,I feel sorry for the people who need to use it. The air temperature is super hot inside. I wasn't even playing, but I was practically sweating the entire time....and I saw many others doing the same. read more

I've been trying to take my kids here for awhile but was hesitant because I read some negative reviews regarding the conditions of the place. However we had a blast! Slick City is located right by AMC theater very easy to find. We came on a Sunday right after they opened at 11:00am (very crowded already but I believe it was because it was someone's birthday party) You have to options to purchase 90 minutes or 120 minutes I believe it's only a $6 difference. They do make you purchase grip socks $4.99 per pair. Your child grabs a mat to slide on and they have a variety of different fun crazy slides. It was fun to watch different kids off all ages (even adults) enjoying the place. It's pretty big. I section for the toddlers and younger kids. A bouncy basketball game section and much more. You can purchase food and drinks but they were too pricey! I did see workers cleaning off tables, sweeping the floors, and taking mats to be cleaned. Now some reviews say the teens working there don't do much which is partially true I did see some young employees just standing around by the slides not doing much of anything but my kids still had a lot of fun. It's alright. My kids enjoyed and want to come back. That's really all that matters. For two kids(ages 8 and 11), I spent 70 bucks on tickets and socks. I went to entrance 8 in the Mall. I reserved my tickets online. When I got there, it seemed like the non-online purchase line went a lot faster than the online reservation line. They may have not had enough folks to handle the online reservations. They have lockers, but you have to pay 6 dollars to rent one. I'd say bring a backpack with you to keep your belongings with you if you have nowhere to set things. In the meantime while you wait in line, they have a person demonstrating how to use the mats when sliding. They have concessions, but it's in Katy Mall. Some of those slides are extreme be ware lol my son did burn his chin on one of the slides because the mat does tend to hold underneath itself on some slides but nothing severe enough to kill the fun. This is a really cool place for kids and adults. I attended a kids party last weekend and the kids had a blast. The place is pretty big and kids are running around everywhere. They have lockers for your shoes and personal belongings which is a plus. They also have a concession stand with food and drinks. My first complaint is there should be some type of stamps or something for the kids safety. Anyone can leave the building with someone else's child. Second complaint is the restrooms. The restroom was absolutely DISGUSTING! There was standing water on the floor. Anyone could slip and hurt themselves. I was there from 2:30 - 8pm and the restroom was a mess the entire time. Someone needs to be assigned to keeping the restrooms clean. Thirdly, the a/c unit broke while we were there so it was hot as heck inside the building. It was my son birthday so we decided to give this place a try on a Monday night. It is still new and very clean. They have slides and play area for kids. The slides are VERY fast and kids went on a couple and never went back on. They were scared because it was too fast and they almost flew off the mat. They instead stayed in the play area for toddlers. They had a blast in there. The reason why I gave it 3 stars was because I think it's overpriced. They charge around $25 for regular ticket and around $15 for toddlers (which is not advertised until I asked). I wouldn't mind paying $15 for each kids but $25 was high for me since all they did was stay in the toddler area. Also, the restroom was filthy and no food yet just snacks. This is a new indoor slide park for kids located inside Katy Mills Mall. Easy to find, obviously tons of parking (entrance 7 near the AMC theater). It's $25.99 for 90 minutes of play plus $4.99 for socks (and YES you do have to buy THEIR socks!) we went on a playdate with two 8 yo and a 4 yo. And all three loved it! They could do everything by themselves. Time went by too fast for them. ***go cart is out of service at the moment -looks like they were still finishing it*** (Dec 2023) Sign the waiver before you get there! I think if you come before noon it is better with the crowds. We came during the week in the summer and it was fine. Last weekend, we came back for a birthday party at 3:00 on a Saturday and it was ridiculous. There weren't enough mats to use, people leave them everywhere and there is no one gathering them and putting them back in the bins. It is so loud, you can't hear anything and the birthday area is too crowded and the floor was sticky and filthy. This place is not meant for grown adults despite being advertised for every age. It was a Monday afternoon when I went and they were out of socks. How is that possible when you literally need the socks to enter. The employees just be standing around and congregating when they really need to be picking up the mats and cleaning them. The mats be all over the place and are wet with sweat . the stairs to get to the slides are huge. It feels like going up 3 regular sized steps at once. my friend and I left this place with numerous frictions burns, we were beat up, and were sore af the next day. There is one grey slide with bumps but you literally go airborne! This is not safe at all. The slides also come to a hard stop so I was literally tumbling off the mat getting off the slides. I hit my teeth on the bump on the pink slide shown in the picture. There's literally one slide where you can't see the bottom, so you have no clue if the person before you is off the slide or not. This same slide has u falling onto an air cushioned mat head first so ur literally breaking ur neck coming off the slide. There are TVs at the front displaying the "rules". One rule said to not go down a slide without an employee present. However, I only saw one employee up there and he was sitting by the slide that was closed.. what good does that do. There's another rule saying to watch for the stoplights that will glow green when it's safe to go. Where exactly are the stoplights because I didn't see any. They just making up rules not to get sued. I should've know this place was gonna be crazy when I had to sign a waiver. The bathrooms are also disgusting and you have to pay to use their lockers. Wish I could give in 0 stars... let's start with what is fixable... it's HOT needs better AC. The ladies room was filthy at noon! No toilet paper in any of the stalls...good thing I carry tissue with me. It's Dangerous... you slide head first on your tummy then come to an abrupt halt...feet fly over your head and neck bends at an awkward angle. The steps up are high and it's dark carrying a mat,,, took my granddaughter there . That would have been ok but they only had extra small and extra large sizes available. My kids had to wear extra large socks that kept falling off. Don't make your kids party here! Got there early to have everything ready, after asking a couple times who was going to be my host party, they sent one person, whom didn't know where to start or what to do, never brought the water pitchers, I was told pizza was going to be ready at certain time and when I went to the front to ask about the pizza, they said pizza wasn't ready and it was going to take 25 more minutes. After those 25 min they brought one pizza at the time (imagine having 16 kids sitting at the table with only 1 pizza). Party host NEVER SHOWED UP, no serving, no cleaning no refilling soda pitchers (which I had to go and get them myself) TOTALLY CHAOS!! The place is in a mall, and I gotta say, HOLY GYATT this place is big! So, the place is full of slides, dodgeball, and go-karts. (that weren't working at the time) Although, there were some bad things that happened. First, there were some slides that have bad landings and my 2 friends that came with got some rug burns. Second, the kids playing dodgeball are just plain mean! They made 2 kids (ages 8 & 9) cry because they were bulling them.
