Expensive and poor poor poor customer service. Inquiring about the cabana and was ping ponging between stations because each place kept referring us to the other place. Drink stations don't know anything about the products they sell. Drink band on menu - don't know anything about that. How much is red bottle - don't know. How much is white one - don't know. Which one is $14.99? Don't know. Not only do they don't know - they don't give a F. They just stand there and stare at you. Like move on (except nobody was behind me). Went to guest relations and they don't know either! Equally clueless. Not sure how they stay in business. Oh I know. $400 weekend cabana rentals and high admission prices ($60/pp and that's the weekday price). Well we did end up getting a cabana eventually although we did later see a large covered picnic area and multiple covered smaller picnic tables so maybe the cabana was not needed. Cabana comes with free water and a hotel sized locker at the cabana - so I got a good deal ... right? FYI No food allowed inside. The cabana has a personal food concierge too (I've posted the menu prices). But they're kinda useless as I asked for more water and never got it despite reassurances they'd do it. There's a button to call them too. Useless. Lockers available for rent (see pic) and life jackets available for those who can't swim well. Also they sell various swim wear there in case you forgot something. WiFi for VIP members whatever that is but not needed as cell reception strong (T-mobile at least). Folks were smoking in cabanas and there were armed guards walking around so I guess they have issues

We came on Thursday and it wasn't really crowded. We loved it since the line wasn't very long. They have 2 different kids area which I really enjoy since my kids have more to do. The food was like any waterpark but the pretzel was soft and warm. It was the best. I took away a star because some of the food stand were closed an hour before the park close and the one that was open was slow service.

First of all they opened 3 hours late and closing early. We paid $54 dollars per ticket and they won't even give you a ticket to return on a better day. Water is freaking cold and it's sprinkling on and off. Park was almost empty today but they didn't cancel or close. We had a scheduled event and this is so wrong of them to do this.

I have been waiting to try Typhoon Texas for years now. Despite many of the reviews and some things I have heard, I wanted to try it for myself. I paid over $85 for Sunday tickets. First and foremost, I am not sure why it was so costly for Sunday tickets. There are literally about 4 adult rides in this whole place. I guess free parking comes with it? The drinks were not as expensive as anticipated, so that was a plus. You are looking at about $8 for beers and $10-15 for the big frozen drinks. I forgot to mention that you are allowed 1 bottle of water per person and no snacks when entering. This place was so packed with people for how small the park is. It was not enjoyable at around 2 pm. We did have fun at the lazy river, but there needs to be some sort of cut-off amounting to fewer people at this park. It's just not big enough. While there are plenty of places to sit and eat, there isn't enough space for people to swim. I felt like a sardine in the lazy river at many points. Kind of trying not to dry heave thinking about everyone packed in the same water as I was... The bartenders were young 18 year olds that were moody because it was so hot. I almost didn't blame them. It was 100° outside this day and felt hotter than that! Altogether, I was glad to have at least checked this spot off of my list. Although, I won't be returning.

Lines were long and it's not even Sumer. It's also just a Sunday afternoon. The rides were fun, but they need a more defined line system. The food was good until I found a French fry with mold on it at the botem of the bbq sandwich basket. Vibe was way off. They were playing summer adds even though it's fall. Most of the staff was pretty rude as well. The only thing g saving them from getting one star is the fun level of the slides.

It was all of our first time here at Splashway Waterpark and we were super impressed! From purchasing our tickets online to getting inside the park things were super easy and breezy. Like everyone else has been noting be prepared to fill out a waiver for entrance when you arrive as each person in your party will need to fill one out (digital/online) and show a QR code of your confirmation before you get access to the park. It was awesome we were able to bring it our own food, snacks, and drinks on our own! I loved this option as we have some picky eaters and drinkers and ultimately saved on costs for us on buying essentials like bottled water and electrolyte drinks to keep us hydrated of course! But don't worry if you don't come with anything as there are plenty of food options and fresh food & drinks for you to order throughout the park. We opted for funnel cakes to boozy margaritas and even pizza too! Rides and features for the waterpark were so much fun and safe. We had such a great time walking around exploring what we wanted to get on and beat through the June heat. Plenty of tubes and lifeguards all around to make your fun even safer and a no-brainer to try all of the rides. We especially loved the cool and semi-rapid lazy river. Their lazy river was wide and feels much longer than other Texas waterparks we have been to. We loved it so much we spent most of our time here. We didn't do any of the campground parking or RV grounds use as we had a hotel in a nearby town to be able to hang out with each other and have some hotel accommodations so I cannot speak to that experience here. Lockers were super easy to use and rent so don't fret about any valuables you have as they will be safe. There are 3 options for locker sizes too that can hold things like wallet & phone only (if needed) or a large bags and ice coolers. We were super impressed with our overall experience and will definitely be back in the next year for sure.

Look out for the people trying to pull wool over your eyes when they tell you they've reserved the court (that you know is false since YOU actually reserved it). All it takes is a quick look up online to see if they indeed reserved the court.. 7/10 times they have. Some people reserve two courts when they only use one but in those situations it is A OK to stay put until the other guys arrive.. If they ever do.

Luckily people were finishing up and leaving by the time we were getting settled in. Free parking is available at the second entrance and the walk isn't bad at all. There are locker rentals in the bathrooms but also at 2 other locations near the pool chairs. There's only 1 family restroom, that I saw, and the stalls aren't large enough for changing clothes privately and comfortably. So come dressed and leave with an extra dry towel or swim cover lol. After going through the check in we put our things on the pool chair and got in the lazy river. After tubing around we got in line for the water slide. Then we finished up at the wave pool. All were fun and not overwhelming. There were enough pool floats to go around. And the staff were keeping the place clean. Afterwards we grabbed a personal pizza & soda from their stand which weren't too costly. They also have a BBQ restaurant available too. The only unfortunate parts was trying to eat with the yellow jacket bees around. There were so many getting on the food and drinks. And the bathroom not having private changing areas. There were amusement rides available too but we didn't have time for it. Upon leaving, the guy that's often seen on their social media posts (I don't know his position) was waving and saying goodbye to everyone. I thought that was a really nice southern hospitality gesture.

This is set up OUTSIDE of Katy Mills Mall... on the parking lot, to be exact. It's fairly obvious and easy to get to. We went with our 2 young kids, ages 3 and almost 7. We watched Jurassic World 2 nights ago to be prepared and the experience largely follows that movie. You're one of the visitors to Isla Nublar and you get a VIP tour that also includes seeing the hatching room and petting baby dinosaurs - namely a parasaurolophus and ankylosaurus (Bumpy). You also see the raptor cage and even sneak past a T-Rex! No Pterosaurs though. We heard there's a chance of jump scares courtesy of Blue, BUT that didn't happen on our tour. I assume it's because our group had a lot of young kids. A bummer (we prepared our kids for any possible ones, but it didn't happen). There is a human in the Blue costume. I felt that part was fairly tame - the fog machine helped set the scene but it was still PG. Maybe even G. Overall, it was pretty fun! For about $20 per person including the discount, it wasn't bad because the animatronics were pretty impressive. Family friendly, though one kid (maybe aged 7-8?) was scared with the T-Rex. Videos and cameras are allowed, just no flash. You get many photo opportunities throughout, staff will help you with photos, and you have a chance to buy the ones you take at the beginning. They have a gift shop where most of the things are overpriced (shirts, plushies). I grabbed a magnet and some postcards. I was also tempted with the posters. The biggest thing is they clearly favor certain dinosaurs over others. My daughter's favorite is stygimoloch but other than him appearing in the tour, he had no merchandise. On the plus side, I didn't fork over $30 for a Stygi plushie or shirt. I also wish there was a jump scare to make it feel completely worth it, but it was still great fun - especially for dinosaur lovers! Got home a few hours later and my 3 year old kept on saying how the dinosaurs were fun. Expect to spend no more than an hour there though.

Even at check-in, they didn't mention any of this. Well, we get there and head to the grill because we were famished and ready for a burger, walk in and were told they only had one cook and they had a limited menu: chicken strips, wings and pizza. Not what we expected when the menu online had much more of a selection. It was basically a kids menu. So, we had no choice but order what they had. A corn dog, wings and chicken tenders. Gross, gross and gross. Undercooked corn dog, dry wings and processed chicken strips. The swim up bar was closed. The snack shack was closed. The slides were closed. Kids in the hot tub (which is clearly marked no one under 18 in the hot tub). One trash can for the whole area. Water was clean enough and drinks were okay, nothing special. Everyone was nice, but the person on the phone clearly should have told us what we were walking into. They put us in the spot right next to the playground area. We called and asked if the lights were on all night and how bright they were. Yes, on all night and no, not bright, was the answer. Good thing we requested to move because those lights were incredibly bright! Even from four spots down! Sunset was nice.
