One of my all time favorite activities growing up was playing laser tag with friends. We would save up our allowances and get memberships where we could play unlimited laser tag. Needless to say, I'm deadly in the arena. Well, atleast I like to tell myself that. Laserzone in Sugarland is one of my favorite spots to pay laser tag now as an adult. It has been around forever and always a good time. The staff here is young kids so pack your patience as they get easily distracted, especially when their friends are there. My son grew up on this place. I still strap up and have no shame in sniping the youngsters in the arena. The arena has 4 levels is a whopping 13,000 square feet. It's a great way to get a good cardio workout in too. Pricing here is very fair and they have unlimited play options on certain days and times. They also have arcade games and a laser maze challenge. I skip that activity as my body isn't as limber as when I was younger. If you're looking for a fun, interactive and physical activity, I highly suggest trying out Laserzone. read more

We got here at 3:22 pm and nobody was at the front desk. We waited 5 minutes then had to go actually look for an employee. We finally found one then asked him at 3:32 that we wanted to play. His words "I'll be right there," but proceeded to sweep, stand around, and look at his phone multiple times. Here it is at 3:49 pm and he barely went to the desk to let us play. Laser zone more like no running zone . Yes on my birthday 12 years ago we got kicked out for running . Also they should put Security cams in the actual lazer zone cause I got bullied . Came for a 7 year old birthday party. Older kids were bullying him. I raised the issue to the staff. Said he couldn't do anything because he is one person at the desk and there are older kids. He could sit out on his game if he wants. All I asked to was to watch him but I couldn't watch the video "with him" I'm putting it in airquotes but I don't see that he has been able to watch the video at all. We came here for a work teambuilding event and while we had a lot of fun on the course itself, the location could use some TLC. Specifically - AC. Inside the course was SO HOT. Not great when it is 105deg+ outside in Houston. Add to this that the host/worker (only one there) was not the most helpful...he told us halfway through our 2hr booking that we had access to the party room and the small laser escape maze thing. Why was there no introduction / welcome / explanation of what came with the package? Since I didn't pay for the event I can't comment on the value necessarily, but I think it is still a really fun activity for kids (and kids at heart). This was pretty disappointing. We had my sons 12th birthday party here last month and all I can say is that I'm glad The kids had a great time. The laser course is really fun (but this was my first time so don't take my word for it) but the facility is very poorly kept. We rented the largest party room which unfortunately was near the restrooms which were absolutely filthy. So enjoy your pizza while being inundated with the smell of urine. No soap To wash hands, no paper towels, no party service like most places offer when you rent. The party room was dirty when we arrived to setup (30 min prior to party as directed). We had to wait for the guy to take out trash and do a bit of clean up before we could come in which then left us still trying to set up while guests were already arriving. We had a small birthday outing for my son and 8 of his friends here before going to lunch and they had a blast! This was the first time any of them played laser tag and they played for 40 minutes. We got there right at 12:00 pm (when they opened) and the owner and staff were very kind and helpful. My son had his bday party here on the 22nd of February. He and his friends had an awesome time! The man who assisted us was patient, kind, non-demanding, and made everything super easy for me! Having a bday party after working all day on a Friday, I thought, was going to send me into crazyville but it was not that way. The best thing that I love about this place is you can bring your own food, drinks, and decorations to your party. My daughter and her classmates (12) had a blast with the lasertag/maze for 3 hrs. You'll lift someone up or down once you sit/stand up Other kids hadn't arrived yet and we told them about 5 more minutes and they went ahead anyways. For a child's birthday (a special time in their lives) to be rushed to the point where he barely had time to open his presents is ridiculous. This review is for both a family outing on a rainy day and a boys 7th birthday party - both experiences exceeded our expectations. The young employees/hosts were great and the 3 story laser tag is what it is all about. The kids had an amazing time and the party room is a nice set up where you can bring whatever you want for food and decor. I really enjoy this place. It is by far the best lasertag place in the state of texas. As much as i enjoy it i think $7.50 for a 2hr game is a bit expensive. Also it isnt very modern. Location is easily seen off Highway 6. The website was pretty easy to navigate as well. There is plenty of parking around. They share a parking lot area with a CiCi's pizza, so there shouldn't been an issue with parking. The inside waiting area is a bit small, especially when there are multiple party groups having an event at the same time. They have a side room that offers additional space, however the overall location can get crowded. The lobby has some arcade machines to pass the time if you are waiting for awhile and want to spend some money. There is also drinks that you can purchase on-sight (Nonalcoholic, this establishment is mainly for children and parents). There service is alright. No complaints either way. The establishment offers two kinds of entertainment. The first one is the staple laser tag that most people have done before. The other is a "laser maze." Basically, if you've seen Ocean's Twelve, it's the moving laser field that is trying to tag you. The whole point is to avoid the lasers and get to the other side. I didn't get a chance to try this one so cannot attest to how fun this is here. The laser tag portion of the game is the staple that you would expect. The maze has three stories and it's what you'd expect going into something like this. Nothing special about the venue. Bonus: Be sure to check on the website for hours. They have different hours during the Fort Bend ISD school year and the break periods. On Saturdays, they don't usually have teams, it's more of a free for all, which can be good or bad read more

We live within walking distance to this place and we decided to give his place a try for my son's 9th Birthday Party. All we have to say is, "AMAZING". Friendly staff, clean facility, just the right amount of space for a party of 10. We were designated the lobby party area for our party and I thought traffic would be bad since it's located in the main area with all the games and arcades, however it was very organized and still quiet. The workers running the main laser tag area were all very efficient, patient & friendly. The manager on staff running the front area was so professional and helpful with everything we asked. I remember when this place first opened. Over ten years later, and this place while fun probably needs a bit of a facelift. Mainly, some airing out since the place smells like sweat and stinky feet. I wonder what they do to sanitize this place? But for $7.50 for about 20minutes of play time, it is still fun. We were there for about 2 hours when you figure in play and wait time, and played two games. However, besides just the rules of the place, they should go over the rules and sportsman like conduct of the game for some of the little ones in particular didn't know what they were doing. read more

What a great way to spend quality time with the family for a decent price. For a little less than the price of a movie ticket, you can get your blood flowing by playing a few awesome games of Laser Tag. The battlefield is three stories, and there are plenty of places to hide behind and shoot through stealth-fully. By the end of our time there, I felt like I was a Navy Seal. There's a mini arcade. To all high schoolers and above, make sure you ask before you purchase anything if their is a member who has the invulnerabilty perk or God mode. It makes that member unable to be killed and management will not be able to do anything. Essentially, you will always lose and you will not be able to do anything. Yes their exists a person that actually comes to this place who cant be killed and will literally will not allow you to use a 1/3 of the arena! In other words, there are plenty of other laser zone arenas without these silly perks. Protocol change or boycott in my opinion. read more
