I paid the…read moreextra $25 to drop off my child at 8 instead of normal 8:45-9 drop off and on the 1st day was told that no one is able to pick her up until 8:30. First sign that something's off. By day 3, I asked my child how the robot was coming along and was told that she had a broken one and the counselor gave her his. She was never enthusiastic about going in the morning, actually she would text me asking to be picked up early. Then Family Day arrives, the last day of camp where the children are to demonstrate their "successful robots". It was pitiful, of about 18 students only 2 had working robots. I even asked the counselor why my daughter's didn't work and he said "I don't know, none of them really worked". I continued to ask if he trouble shot hers and he said it was something SHE did when putting it together. After I reminded him that the one she had was the one HE put together he just threw his hands up in the air and said I really dont know what happened and walked off. We left with one robot out of the box that didn't work and 3 boxes of completely untouched robots that WE needed to put together at home. It was a total waste of time, money and as much as my daughter loves science and building things was a true disappointment to her. You are better off buying a bag of Legos than attending this camp!

From the ladies at the front desk (even through change/new hires), to ALL the teachers, this place has relieved any and all stress about our daughter's development and learning. She loves going to class, all the teachers welcome EVERY KID everyday. You're able to "checkin" via a live stream video which is awesome when you're missing your nugget. Our daughter has learned SO MUCH and comes home with new knowledge everyday. They communicate extremely well and always provide necessary info. Calendars to help keep you up-to-date, reach out and alert you of any changes made (even daily meals which may be overkill but, I'm for it!). We are planning on another kid in the coming year and they will 100% be going to Kiddie Academy - Katy West. Thank you to this staff!

The teachers and the director were super nice and great during enrollment and the entire time my son was there. They made our start and abrupt stop very easing and we're very understanding and accommodating to our needs. It was the first time my son (4) had been in anything cause, you know, Covid. He was terrified of everything and having the camera to let me check in eased my mind a lot. His teachers helped calm him each morning and let him sit and do puzzles as his classmates trickled in. I do agree with a previous commenter that there aren't a lot of obvious Covid protocols in place. The kids did not wear masks, though my son does everywhere else, and they only washed hands and tables right before eating. They sit and sleep right next to each other and share just about everything. My biggest regret was that there was little to no free time or open center time for the kids. Everything was very structured from the product-art that his teacher obviously did or corrected to three/4 circle times and lots of table activities. He went outside once during his time there. Even if it's hot, kids need at least 15 mins outside a day to just move. Our plan was to send him there for socialization but he barely had time to do that. They provided food and snack but did not let me know if he ate anything or not. When I questioned him, he couldn't give me an answer either. They have a letter they send home but it's a generic one that has nothing to do with a specific lesson or activity or your child for that day. It was the same one for the whole week and pointless. Works for older kids, perhaps, but I sent more detailed ones when I worked in Early Education and even as a fourth grade teacher. Overall, it wasn't what I was expecting but it wasn't bad. We pulled my son out cause he got sick a week and a half in. It was a regular cold from new, preschool germs, but with Covid on the rise again, we just pulled him for at home care.

All their set ups are so cute and there are plenty of learning stations for kids too. It's a great variety of stations for all kinds of interests. They give you a token to redeem for a free snack at the end of your visit which my kiddo loves every time we come here. The staff is always very friendly too. The only thing I don't love is that you have to make a reservation for the play session you want and it's not that long. I can understand that it's probably for the purpose of cleaning in between sessions and regulating the amount of people coming in but I think for the price it should be longer play times. I also wish there was a membership option. But other than that we still love it here.

It also appears the facility was never cleaned or even at least vacuumed due to the dead and live bugs I would see around the place on the inside. I would not recommend anyone to bring their kids here if you truly care about your child. You would think for the price you pay to have your kid there you would at least get better care and a clean environment.

I have been taking my 8-month-old daughter to the Babies Classes taught by Kapila. There are also Family Classes for 0-5 years old. Kapila is an excellent teacher. The class was wonderful & I love giving my baby this exposure to music from an early age. They give you CDs of the music & there's also an app for your phone -- so that you can play the music at home to increase the amount of exposure your children get. During the first class, my baby was just in awe because she hadn't been in any music classes before. She looked at everyone, especially teacher Kapila. She gnawed on the various instruments we were given (afterwards, they get put into a special bin to be cleaned before the next use). The second class, my baby felt more comfortable and started crawling around during the class as well. The third class, the others no-showed so Kapila gave us a private class. I highly recommend Prelude Music Classes.

They both create a warm, playful, and flexible environment to allow children and their caregivers (parents, grandparents, nannies, uncles, etc.) to enjoy, learn, and participate in music. Babies and children are encouraged to be themselves, whatever age or stage they're at. Any toys or musical instruments that are mouthed or otherwise exposed to saliva can be placed in a special bin to be cleaned before they're reused. During each class series, you get a CD of over 20 songs, an illustrated songbook, and access to those same songs via a downloadable Music Together mobile app. Highly recommend Prelude Music Classes for all babies and young kids.

Love the interaction with all the kids and the birthday girl. Our scientist was so organized. The experiments were fun, entertaining and educational. Definitely worth it.
