With Kings CDL I managed to get my CDL permit two days after completion of 2 weeks training course. These 2 weeks of studying were intense and we had to spend 9 hours every day learning how to do pre trip as well as how to learn to drive such a big vehicle. Within 2 weeks, I turned from a guy, who doesn't even know how brakes work to a skilled truck driver, who can easily drive truck with trailer , do parallel parking and able to perform full pre trip inspection as well as brake test. After 2 weeks of studying , I can disassemble the whole truck and locate all the components of that vehicle. We start our education with mister Tony, who is a professional CDL teacher, whose main focus was on a pre-trip. By the end of the first week, all students from our group learned how to do form A,B,C. Mister Maj and Ryadg taught us how to drive tractor and control trailer. I was really surprised that with their techniques and tips even unexperienced drivers could do off set backing by the end of the first week. With Reeza we learned how to do the actual road test, where we have to pay attention to traffic, turns and perform emergency stop. Overall, I am very satisfied with my training and happy that I got my CDL so quick. I would recommend this school to anyone. My rating 5 out of 5!

Me and my parents both agree this was the best decision we've ever made, the instructors are all absolutely lovely and sweet (in the Katy area as I did my drives there) and they made me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable driving. The times they offer are perfect to fit around school schedule. I am incredibly grateful for the skills I have learned at Safeway as they have made me a very safe and rational driver, I can approach uncomfortable road situations with calmness and certainty. I drive my two sisters to school everyday and I can confidently say if it wasn't for Safeway, I would not be the mindful and reliable driver I am today. Their online course is also really good and their Katy office staff are so helpful and kind, although the price can be hefty it was worth every penny and nothing compared to impeccable service and quality they provide.

It's a waste and it is indeed archaic. The formatting makes no sense. Why are there so many steps just to submit an assignment? I can't get them to grade my assignments as they have now exceeded the "ten business days" that they need to grade them. Also giving feedback and having the assignment marked as "completed" are two separate processes-so when one of my assignments was "graded" it then took 3 more days for them to mark it as complete?! There are cheaper courses that would be smoother and not having to go through all this hassle. For example, UNCG's supervision course (if you're based in NC). It's antiquated, but there is no hassle. No one has responded to my support ticket requests for my assignments to be graded ,so I can then wait for a Tuesday when the certification will be sent out (only sent out on Tuesdays).
