I am extremely disappointed at the lack of sensitivity from the school at this time during the Covid 19 pandemic. The school hasn't been sensitive to the financial constraints parents are facing. Sugar Creek Montessori has not adjusted the tuition for the time the school has been closed (two weeks now). They have charged parents for the normal curriculum which includes full time staff and materials but are only providing "ONLINE TEACHING" which should be offered at a discount. Some of us are out of work or have reduced incomes. Others are trying to manage the demands of working from home while taking care of our kids. I've sent multiple emails regarding a refund or at least a credit and all I get is a generic response "Thank you for your feedback". I have tried calling, but I of course do not get an answer. Understand, I am not giving you my feedback I need an answer! Your policy is "NO PRORATION FOR SICKNESS AND/OR VACATION", however, this is not a vacation, this is an unfortunate situation the world has encountered so all I am asking for is for fairness and my tuition to be valued at the product I am getting or lack of product to be honest. My child has been at this school for 2 years now and has enjoyed his time there. His teachers are great and he loves them very much. We have never had any issues prior to this situation, but at this point I feel the need to complain and voice my frustration with the administration. I have called around to check other schools policies and I am astonished to find out that 2 owners of two well known Montessori schools are discounting the tuition due to this pandemic situation without hesitation. I would hope that your school or should I say our school would be one of the local schools to acknowledge the services being rendered do not warrant the tuition fees we paid during the month of March. As of now, parents have been told April tuition will be charged once the school figures out how to offer an "off-site curriculum". Let's start with my son his behavior began to be so bad he was loving after some times he began hitting and crying every time I dropped him off and when I pick him up his eyes would just shine to leave . I've witnessed the teachers be very Ruff with other parents kids when I go to pick him up and I look through the window they are grabbing up on the kids like pulling them and poking they really hard with there fingers while yelling ...., I should have said something sooner because that would have avoided it being my kid . but what would they have done ... but He came home one day and there is bruises alllll over him his thigh,butt, stomach,shoulder I didn't think anything of it because I thought maybe he's just tuff housing with other kids . until I removed him from the daycare and put him in a daycare with cameras and it's been a complete 360!! He is so happy. it breaks my heart to imagine what my baby dealt with in that daycare with no cameras and not to mention he would be so thirsty !!! And starving when I picked him up , and i would also walk up and witness him just standing there crying because he just woke up and what baby can function when they just wake up ...they just stand him up from DEEP SLEEP and walk away and don't comfort at all , if you don't like kids don't be in child care simple . the director Mrs nevina she is amazing !! But then she went on maternity leave and it was hell from there no professionalism without her being there . Now for my daughter we know it's hard looking after new borns . they just leave your baby to cry on the ground . When they don't calm down especially from gas .i loved her teachers! they were great, but there is 0 to 12 month babies in one class so that means a 1 year old can be walking on your new born and they wouldn't even notice because they have a lot to do !! And can't see everything happen . But that's WASN'T THE ISSUE my daughter got covid from one of the teachers in there that had covid ! And has given her permanent respiratory problems to this day she was 4 months when she left that daycare and now she's 10 months . And I tell the office she just brushed it off like "oh it's just like the flu" and failed to let any of the teachers or parents for the baby's in that class to know my daughter have covid to warn another parents baby because it is contagious!! But no nothing was informed just brushed of.she would be sick EVER WEEEK like I don't get how she would never get better as soon as I changed her school she hasn't gotten sick one time !! This daycare really needs cameras or to get better management and more professional teachers they made it seem like my child was the issue with his behavior but it's the teachers and what they do to him/them behind closed doors I fear for any child in those class rooms for what really happens when we parents are not there

Long story short, after two months at this daycare and multiple "second chances" we switched our daughter to a new daycare where she has been for two months and we couldn't be happier that we left Kids R Kids. We moved from out of state in July and our daughter started in the toddler classroom in August. Everything was mostly okay (The first day I did watch the teacher literally ignore and step over my crying toddler for 20 minutes before picking her up or showing her any sort of attention), she cried every day I dropped her off but, we thought it was from adjusting to the move and new school. Day 3, I went to pick her up and the room she had been in had lights off and no kids. I went to the other toddler room, same story. I went to the front desk to ask them where my daughter was and the front desk woman walked back to the toddler room where I'd just checked and was surprised there we no kids. At this point I am starting to panic, thinking to myself these people don't know where my child is. At which point I ask them "where is my baby?!" They have no idea where she is. I hear my daughter crying and find her in the infant room hysterically crying. I went to get her as we're both distressed at this point and they won't let me in the room to get her. Fine, I get the rules. I tell them "fine, one of you needs to get my baby now." I get my baby and we head home. My husband calls them to tell them this is unacceptable and they LIE to him about what happened stating they knew where she was the whole time; false. The next morning I talked to the assistant director (I think? I'm not sure, no one ever introduced themselves to me) and she assured me this was an isolated incident and they were having a staff meeting asap to discuss. Against my better judgement I kept my daughter there. Every week something new would happen. An injury here, never applying diaper cream (which I provided) after diaper changes leading to terrible diaper rash, watching them be excessively rough with my daughter on the video stream and not to mention she never stopped crying at drop off in the morning, she cried everyday for 6 weeks straight. We eventually starting looking for other daycares and were able to get her into a new one very quickly. Right as Notify kids r kids we'll be moving our daughter, they call to tell me she fell backwards in her chair and hit her head and it was bleeding. After talking with the director we both decided it was best if that was my daughters last week and she waved the 2 week notice requirement. The director was aware of many of my concerns and stated she was actively trying to fix things. I really hope she is successful. The pros of this daycare were price and proximity to our house, which is why we stayed as long as we did. Looking back, I should have pulled my daughter out after they "lost" her on the 3rd day. Please do your research before I entrusting these people with your children/babies. There are tons of daycares in our area and ones where the teachers are loving and actually care for you and your children. Sadly, my experience at Kids R Kids was the opposite of loving and caring.

Furthermore they keep referencing "safety concerns" to mask there inability to properly run there faculty which apparently is under staffed according to themselves. No one should leave three kids here for any length of time as one teacher per 17 kids is not enough and "unsafe".
