I LOVE that they provide lunches here, are a smaller school so you can really get to know the staff and other families, and that they have outdoor playgrounds and large indoor spaces for play on rainy/cold days! The fact that it is Faith-based is what really sold us and was very important to us. Our children have all enjoyed and benefited from the chapel time everyday. The week I started there was drama and chaos. The director and asst director claimed they were just toxic, bitter CO workers who would be "leaving" (fired) I didn't understand at that moment what in the world was going on. 3 months later, all those "toxic" ex employees weren't so crazy after all. They took advantage of my kindness even when I busted my butt working 12 hours. Cut hours, refused to hire an assistant for each lead teacher because we were "in ratio" which means 17 plus kids by yourself, not to mention the curriculum they make you do weekly that can never be incorporated because there's too many kids with 1 teacher. There was no structure, consistency, definitely no "learning" food is trash and cooked in the microwave. They don't care to make changes, unprofessional, calls their employees expletives, and expects you to be "professional, no gossiping" but it doesn't apply to them. They don't value good teachers/employees and this has been an on going cycle since they first opened. The kids best interest aren't put first and they talk bad about parents behind their back.
