The Cinco Ranch Montessori provided such unique and spectacular PK experiences for my daughters. They have developed socially and academically during two years stayed there. The staffs are helpful and supportive. The room teachers we had were Mrs. Meera and Mrs. Crystal. They took good care of my kids. Built so much confidence and leadership in them, that they will be able to walk in a new environment not being afraid. Our time went by too fast, and life has to move on. We have been very pleased with Cinco Ranch Montessori and would strongly recommend this school. They have very good teacher retention, which was important to us when deciding on a preschool. Our child was enrolled in Classroom #5, with Ms. Meera and Ms. Crystal, where she developed a love for her teachers and for learning. Both my son and daughter loved their time at Cinco Ranch Montessori. The staff and teachers are great and have a true love for the children and for what they do. Overall great school- my son has been attending since he was around 18 months and now will be 5. Like many of us, he was kept home for a while during the pandemic and returning to school was not an easy transition. However, all the staff and teachers made the process seamless and comforting. They really work with you to pair your child up with the classroom environment that best fits their needs, lines of communication are always open (which is appreciated from any parent's perspective). His first teacher was Ms. Kim, can't thank her enough for being so warm, loving and guiding during his toddler years. He's now in Ms. Cecilia and Ms. Alexis' class, another wonderful dynamic. I've seen him grow so much in such a short amount of time, academically and socially. They were always readily available to address any concerns I had and vice versa. We finally found a great school for our kids. We love the teachers and the administration staff. Everyone is always helpful and friendly. We love Mrs Cecilia and Mrs Alexis. I know the past 2 years have been really challenging with Covid, but truly they entire school has done a great job keeping the kids safe. They communicate with parents all the time. I appreciate the open communication and the camera access. The only I regret is not getting on waitlist sooner. We tried other schools in the area and by far Cinco Ranch Montessori is the best. read more

This school have just a reputation of being good! After 2 years there my daughter went to kinder and passed her test today, she dont even know her whole letters! I was concerned about that but when asking they were always saying let her on her past.... lot of smiles from the admin but nothing is done when a problem is talked about... At the graduation party, we all parents saw how teachers were very unpleasant with the children! we felt they do not like their jobs !! I would give Cinco Ranch Montessori 10 stars if I could. Our daughters (twins) attended CRM for three years, from ages 3-6; they graduated kindergarten in June 2021, and went on to do a few months of summer school afterwards as well. Back story: We moved to the Katy, TX area from Los Angeles, CA in 2018, and started the girls quickly (too quickly) at British Private Prep. That was a great disappointment - during the first week of pick up, we found them crying at the front desk of that school, watching Peppa Pig on the computer with one of the administrators. Obviously that didn't last long. Thankfully, through more research, tours and upon getting more settled in the area, we found and loved Cinco Ranch Montessori. We're very involved and engaged parents (as surely you are too, if you're taking time to research a school for your child); my undergraduate degrees are in child development and sociology, and we very much subscribe to the whole-child Montessori method of education. One of our daughters was in Ms. Elizabeth / Ms. Ruby's class (amazing!) and our other daughter was in Ms. Patti / Ms. Cristina's class (also great!). Great classrooms, wonderful teachers. There were a few minor hiccups in the very beginning as some things fell through the cracks with regards to communication with the teachers as a whole (i.e. in early 2019, one of the extracurricular teachers gave expired green tea candy to our kids, etc.), but I was very open about our expectations and desires for our children's education, and Ms. Jessica, the director, was very understanding, and implemented changes. We grew to love her and the entire program all the more. Over the years, the teachers and team at Cinco Ranch Montessori became like extended family. They truly care for and nurture the children as if they are their own; the care they have for the children and families is crystal clear. Communication is great - we would message the teachers via Montessori Compass and email Ms. Jessica; if it was crucial we know that any given word get passed on, we would call. I very much trusted these wonderful people with the care and education of our children. As the Montessori method is known to do, our children were performing to their limitless capability - they were telling time, learning parts of language like articles/verbs/nouns, and doing multiplication and division in kindergarten (really!). Their leadership and social skills have grown exponentially, and they absolutely loved going to school with Ms. Elizabeth, Ms. Patti, Ms. Ruby and Ms. Cristina. Ms. Alexis, an afternoon teacher, is a whiz with arts and crafts, and we highly recommend her as well! One slight issue is the lack of the discipline that we experienced some fallout from, but what we had to deal with, could've been experienced anywhere. There was a, we'll call him a "high maintenance child" in one of our daughter's classes for a few years. He threw tantrums, bit people, yelled, threw things, etc. etc. Our daughter would come home and test out / replicate the behavior, which was obviously tough to deal with. I do wish there was a way around this, but obviously he and his family are paying customers as well. I know the teachers tried their best. For part of the third year, he went into a different class, and the issues seemed to subside for the most part. Overall though, this is a truly wonderful program - and I would do it all over again. Cinco Ranch Montessori navigated the pandemic amazingly, as well as all the inclement weather, flooding, the freeze - everything. The administration (Ms. Jessica, Ms. Gloria, Ms. April) are all so caring, and every holiday they decorate the school super festive and cute, and it's just like a home away from home. With the teachers, administration, wonderful, caring education, healthy food (lunch and snacks) and the no-screen approach that the Montessori method is known for, I truly can't recommend this place enough. read more

My daughter attended CR Montessori for the past 2 years. We recently moved to Fulshear, so I have been trying to find a school closer to home. And to be perfectly honest, I am having a VERY hard time finding one like CR Montessori! The director, Mrs. Jessica, is incredibly friendly and down to earth. I loved her the moment I met her! I knew that school was meant for my daughter! I am still searching for a school closer to home, but if I can't find one. We will be headed back to CR Montessori! read more

You have to understand the Montessori philosophy in order to appreciate this school. My older daughter went to CRM for Primary and Pre-K and we kept her in Miss Meera and Miss Crystal's class for Kindergarten as well. When she went to 1st grade in public school her teacher was very impressed by her reading level as well as her ability to work independently in class. Our younger daughter is in Kindergarten room #5 with Miss Meera and Miss Crystal as well. The level of care and teaching expertise your child will receive here is above all of these "Montessori's" you'll find here in Katy. CRM is an accredited Montessori. That is a very important factor to consider when making your decision. read more

They do not return calls or emails. our child has been waiting for months in the waiting list and have not heard anything back from the director after calling and emailing them on the status. I sense that they are very "selective" almost to the point where they would disseminate against certain types of people, in which case I should be glad that they're not interested in taking my baby! read more

Our two daughters 4 and 2 attend to Cinco Ranch Montessori School. Before enrolling them, we went to visit several Montessori schools in the area. I can truly say that none of them make you feel that warmth atmosphere, we looked until we found Cinco Ranch Montessori School.  From the moment we got inside we felt comfortable and welcome, when we took the tour through the school, we noticed that the classrooms were clean and tidy, the kids were  working calm and smiling and very concentrated, the teachers seemed very caring, professional and well prepared. The Montessori philosophy is taken literally. (Education with love). Our girls are happy, they have grown so much in every aspect, and when pick them up they don't want to leave.  The lunch they serve to the kids is rich and nutritious, they have an excellent cook who prepares daily lunch especially for children. Thank you for all you have done for us. I have absolute confidence that when it's time to go to preschool both of them will be prepared as the basis they are acquiring here are excellent. read more

My son has been going to Cinco Ranch Montessori school since we moved to Katy two years ago. He really enjoys the class and learnt a lot there. Mrs Teresa and Mrs Ching are very caring teachers. They went out of their way to help him adapt when he was 3 years old. Now my son is one of the older ones in class and they ensure he stays engaged all the time. My daughter attended montessori school in Houston, and she is now a 2nd grade GT student in KISD. Sending them both to Montessori school is one of the best investment I have made. I will encourage everyone to give Montessori method and Cinco Ranch Montessori school a try if you live in the area. read more

Updating my review almost 3 years later...daughter is now in 3rd grade thriving in her Katy ISD school and other activities. After the original review I placed my 3rd child in the toddler program and now he is in his 2nd year of being in the primary program. Still agree with all the points of my original review. He has the same teachers my daughter had. Miss Meera and Miss Crystal are so loving and nurturing and run a fun classroom. While my kids are there I trust they are in good hands. I'll add one observation that in my 6 years bringing kids to CRM pretty much all the teachers and many staff have remained the same. The consistency, professionalism, expertise at CRM - you don't see that at too many other schools. Especially in Katy. read more

My son insists on being dropped off early and doesn't want to go home when I pick him up, I think that says a lot about how much he likes it at his school. The teachers, staff and director are outstanding. They really care about the children and follow the montessori philosophy. The lunch and snacks are nutritious and includes organic, fresh and whole grain options. When my son had a fever at school, the teachers and staff rallied around him to help him feel comfortable until I came. My son is thriving in this nurturing and positive environment! My daughter looks forward to going to school every single day. Everyone at CRM is so warm and friendly and clearly care about the children. The teachers are very seasoned in Montessori education. My daughter will be starting public school in August and I know for a fact she is already well beyond other children who did not attend CRM. My son has gone to CRM for two years now, this will be his last year there since he is in kindergarten now. His teachers are Mrs. Patti and Mrs. Christina, and loves them both. They are very dedicated and love what they do. They both take the time to understand each child as an individual, and meet the needs that they require at that moment and time. Our kids have been going to this school since 2014 and we love all that this school has to offer! Our oldest moved on to kindergarten this school year and is extremely well prepared and well ahead of the learning curve. We have our other children in both the primary and toddler classes. We appreciate the balance between practical life skills and academic instruction provided to the kids even at the early toddler age of 18 months! The teachers are montessori certified and their long tenure provides a nice stability for the children. Cinco Ranch Montessori School is a wonderful, nurturing place where children grow and thrive. The teachers are kind, caring, and really engage the children. My older daughter spent two years in Ms. Michelle's class, and she loved every minute of it. Her reading and math are more than a full year ahead of her grade level now that she is enrolled in public school. My younger daughter is currently is Ms. Elizabeth's class, and she is excited to go to school each day. She loves to learn, and she comes home each day with something new and exciting to share. The teachers really encourage the children to do and be their best. The director and administrative staff are superb. They know all of the children and parents. When we moved to Katy, I knew I wanted my three kids in a Montessori. I toured several in the area, but I fell in love with CRM. The Head of School is incredible, and she is very active in the kids' day to day activities. She greeted my kids on a daily basis, and was always willing to give them a big hug if they wanted one. I was nervous about starting my daughter (then, 18 months) in the toddler program as this would be my first time away from her. Kim, one of her fabulous teachers, made this such an easy transition for me. I could tell she truly loved my daughter, which made dropping her off every day much easier. My twins were put in different classes, and their teachers were matched up with them perfectly. I loved the smiles I saw every morning from the teachers. Finding a good school is one thing...but finding a school where you know your kids are wanted and loved is another. Rebecca and Jessica are fantastic, as well as the rest of the staff.
