Overall the vibe here is good with the people who work here. I've only encountered one bitch out of the dozens employees I've comes across. I'm an absolute fan of the makeup, beauty and haircare aisles. Well organized. The only thing that sucked is there was one item I wanted. I picked up the box and it was empty. I find the prices to be slightly more expensive than Walmart but it's fine because I hate Walmart and will pay extra to shop here. The one thing I don't like about this specific location are the roaming groups of teenagers. I guess there isn't much for them to do in Cinco Ranch. Stopped by today, 3/12/25, at the cinco ranch location, to purchase a 7 ft Shady lady faux tree. They did not have one on display so I asked a target team member by the name of "Christopher" a younger Hispanic male who was outstanding and offered help without hesitation. He went above and beyond and walked to the back to find me a tree. Christopher brought me a tree that was already set up and in great shape! Thank you so much Christopher for your outstanding customer service and for being a good human being. God bless you. The plac is very organized and clean. The workers are super nice and help you find something. The items are super good for anything. The items go from like 1 dollar toys to 1000 dollar TV's. The prices are super correct and for like a stuffy they are 5 dollars for a big Squishmallow. read more

I enjoy this target. I take the kids after swimming. The lines are not typically long and the staff is usually friendly (unless restocking a seasonal setup and you are in their way). With the clothes, it's typically hit or miss but the kids section and maternity section is usually stocked. They have honored really nice target rewards so that's good. Most of my experiences here have been pleasant. I will keep coming back. read more

I went into this target for Ulta Beauty products and Faith was extremely rude - will not be returning to this location ! I even asked her what moisturizer would she recommend and she rolled her eyes as if I was bothering her...picked one off the shelf without even saying what product it was and walked away? RUDE. I've been to other target locations where the staff was super helpful. Sadly, that wasn't the case with this target! This is my favorite Target in the world!! Where do I even begin? It's always so clean. Everything is always well-stocked. The employees actually seem to like being at work. I could go on and on. When my kids find out we're heading here, they get way too excited lol and I'll admit I do as well. I hate crowded stores, but this place is just so huge that even when the parking lot looks super packed, it's still peaceful and easy to walk through the aisles without bumping into a ton of people. To top it all off, there's an Ulta smack dab in the middle! Between the well-stocked clothing sections, the grocery section, the Starbucks that always has friendly baristas to hand me my much-needed espresso to help me stay alive during a shopping trip with my 3 kids, and the skin and hair care sections, there's just no way for me to spend less that 2-3 hours at a time. The last time I came, I had to return a romper that made me look like I worked in a field somewhere. The lady working at the customer service desk was so friendly. My friend was with me and she had to return something as well. The cashier was such a breath of fresh air processing our returns. When we didn't locate my phone, she took my information and promised to call my wife if my phone was later located. She did call my wife when the store found my phone a little while later. Managers, are you aware your sales people are making recommendations not to buy at Target? You should send in your own shopper and see what is going in. It's a Target, you get what you expect and then add a star for friendly people. I read most of the reviews for this Target and feel that "gosh we have a lot of whiners in Cinco Ranch!" We've been using this Target since it opened and are happy with it. I mean, Target will never be my first choice for meats and vegetables or for healthy foods. But if your looking for the basics and don't want to deal with the crazy parking lots at H.E.B or Costco; or the super high prices at other boutique stores like Trader Joes/Sprouts/Whole Foods then why not Target? First I want to point out that the Target Pharmacy (now CVS) staff is the best in Katy. They try to learn names and provide caring service. I have also found all the clerks to be friendly and helpful. Sort of what we used to get from Walmarts! Anyway, for basics, including clothing and food you can count on Target. This is my go to Target store like I always do my Target runs here. They always have good service but I was charged for an item I didn't buy. I went back after 2 days and told the customer service about it. They did investigate and found that there was a mistake by their own sales associate. Here's where it gets pretty upsetting . The manager who handled the case came up to me and said, we saw the video of you and found that the cashier made a mistake. He did passed the case to the customer service to refund me saying it's up to her what to do. And I'm like, I was wrongfully charged here and I want you guys to make it right. That's basically my money and I just want to get it back. They had the evidence and I have proof as well.They did refunded me but none of them said sorry or took responsibility for the mistake of their cashier. They made me wait for 20mins. No one said sorry and I was very upset bc the customer service person was acting edgy on me instead of apologizing for that mistake. read more

They don't have much super To near where I am from. I can see how one can spend a whole day here. The meat selection was very diverse and I was intrigued with the Salmon Patties. There were associates everywhere I turned and the product was merchandised in an organized manner. I would come here to shop without hesitation. read more

There are times when going to a Target is seamless. The parking, the organization, the lines and checkers can all make or break your experience. I agree with other Yelpers that this Target is super clean and well-stocked, but it is the parking that makes me less than Yelpy 5-Star-ey. There always seems to be a lot of shopping carts in the parking lot and some wayward carts that always end up drifting toward parked cars. I know there are cart attendants, but c'mon peeps. Recently, this Target replaced their old carts with those containing bumpers. Is this because of the parking lot situation? Other than that, I can count on this Target to have the items as advertised and to have plenty of friendly cashiers. Meanwhile, be wary of those runaway carts in the parking lot. John (I believe he is in charge of asset protection and security), is the rudest Target employee I have ever encountered. Ever since Target started this new sports card release every Friday at 8AM, I (and some others) have been treated disrespectfully by him. I visit this store multiple times during the week to purchase everyday items and I have never been threatened to not be able to buy a product or limited to buy a product when others were not limited for that same product. I understand Target wants to control their sports card product as best they can, however at the end of the day I am a paying customer and I have done nothing but followed rules. This week, I was threatened, accused of things and treated awfully by John. I really hope management can look into this employee, his motives and make things fair across the board so that my future experiences with this location aren't so terrible. read more

Not as big as other Katy Super Targets but it does the trick most of the time. Their bakery is great. Really nice and super affordable for custom cakes/cupcakes. Spent $29 on 36 cupcakes with the cutest swirl design frosting. They really try their best to make what you're thinking. I'll be sure to come back just for that. Nice in store Starbucks. Most people working the customer service desk are good at what they do. Sometimes I encounter new or dense people and it irritates me but ehhh, that happens everywhere. I know most of the cashiers and the ones that stick around are the more older ones and they are sticklers for rules, which honestly is a good thing sometimes. Store is always clean, I've never had an issue with their milk or eggs but the fruit, yes, again with any store it happens. I went in Saturday morning for fruit and I couldn't even buy strawberries, they were all bad (except for the organic ones) and the grapes I bought were half bad so I had to return them. When I went back to return they gave me zero issues but I couldn't find fresh grapes. They were the same ones. All in all, I go to this one bc it's only 5 miles away and less traffic than many other locations. Plus I don't have any serious issues with them. They have tons of parking btw. read more

I shopped here recently, and when I got home I realized I must've left my cell phone there. I immediately went back to the store and searched where I thought I could have left it but didn't find it. Then I spoke to Customer Service who helped me search. Sure enough, they helped me find my phone, which I left in the shopping cart I used. It was still in the parking lot. I give many thanks and all of the credit to Santi, the employee who helped me. He was polite, respectful and showed care and concern. He did an excellent job & I'm grateful to him!! NOTHING in between and NOTHING to wear in an office setting. Extremely disappointing. This place is the perfect place to go because there is a grocery store inside. I'm surprised I spent less than $50 on this trip. This stores location is great! The store seems to always busy which is great I'm sure. Some of the management staff are lazy here. I see the regular employees really hustling, cleaning, pulling, dusting and still somehow smile and greet you. The managers seem to just bark more orders over the walkie talkies and stand around with their shirts perfectly in place with their khakis perfectly creased and pressed. I have asked on many occasions where was a specific item and the management has no clue. They request info over the walkie talkie and an have another employee show me where the item is located instead of just showing me after receiving info. Guess to them it's beneath them to help guests guess they don't want to really work might just decrease those freeshly pressed khakis , untuck that perfectly tucked polo shirt or dishovel their perfect hair. I went into the store last week and over heard one of the managers saying they were having a store visit from top corporate personnel. This maybe the reason why I saw what seem to be a full area of managers stocking shelves being nice and helping on the sales floor. Typical... They go around barking orders for months. You have an issue regular associates handle things and run the store. But ohh boy Corporate is coming you see the whole management team on the floor. Lol. Target here in Katy 77494 you get my business because this store stays pretty stocked and I love the regular employees that always help me and my family and most even remember my name. I love the ladies in Star Bucks, the women in the beauty dept and a few others around in the store. I give this store 3 stars because they need to get New managers that tall skinny manager name Jason is always rude and seems fake a total tool and a know it all. You know the type we all know a person who lets the position go to their heads. Like he missed his true calling so he gives them hell at work. Ive witbessed him being rude when speaking to the employees. Another manager my family and I call the Ken Barbie doll. He just walks around being pretty seems he's more interested in looking good than helping out. Always seem to carry papers around but dont do S@$t. I am 7 months pregnant and I am a shipt shopper, I usually come to this target for my orders I go to the self checkout to verify my order. When I went to the self checkout I couldn't find anyone to verify my order there where 2 employees in the area but the completed ignored me an walked away, when I finally found someone who was a older looking Indian man who was about 5'5 I asked him to verify everything and he claimed he did but after I bagged all the Items and was about to leave the employee who had helped me came back and tried to grab the bags out of my hand and got very aggressive with me saying he needed to check them again. I let him check my bags again and he said everything was fine but shipt is on a time limit so for him to inconvenience me from doing my job because he didn't do his was just really not right. I am a young African American woman who is pregnant just trying to make a little money an he really imconvinced me an gave me major anxiety.
