Love this Target location! Utilized this location for many years. Seen a lot of changes over the years. Some good, some bad but mostly with customer service. I love their red card, circle rewards and gift cards for buying quantity. Before Covid-19 I would give this store a 5 star rating. Customer Service improved significantly and always eager to help if needed. Since Covid-19 I do not know as I have not shopped in this location due to a move to Central Virginia. I enjoy going to this target much more than the one on RT 28... The only thing I can't stand about this target, is if I have to go to the bathroom and I can't hold it and have to use their bathrooms, I feel like I need to burn my clothes afterwards... The bathrooms look like someones bowels exploded on the floor, walls, ceiling....... I mean come on women of target... did you pee to stand up? How is it all over the toilet seat?? How is your fecal matter on the stall door?!?! How is it that there is a crap load of "pubic" looking hair all over the seat too? What did you do? Have a disgusting party in there??? did you wipe your bottom on the door? And any given time I have ever been in those restrooms, they look like they were cleaned a week ago... They do not smell fresh, clean etc. I even told a target team member and someone went into "clean" the bathroom, which I didn't think the teenager was going to so I went back in 30 minutes later to check and it was still as nasty as before. Toilet paper everywhere, water everywhere on the floor...Bloody toilets.. I don't blame target for the nasty costumers that can't flush a toilet or clean up after themselves (if you sprinkle when you tinkle please be neat and wipe the seat) but I do blame target for the bathrooms not being cleaned even after I told someone about it, and I also blame target for not monitoring the bathrooms for cleanliness more closely as well as no air fresheners.... Word of advice, go next door to use the bathroom, or else you might catch a disease at target's.. read more

I love target! Well, this is a super target and right across from our house, so convenient and I do pretty much all my shopping here. They honor coupons and have coupons on their website that you can print out and use. I use a lot of recyclable bags too, and I think they take off like 5 cents per bag used, so I save a little more that way. I literally can get anything here. I got a points card for my boyfriend's Xbox, a DVD, decent pair of slacks for work, socks, greeting cards, my prescriptions, sunglasses, not to mention my whole grocery list. This Super Target is pretty good and will most likely have what you need when you visit. The store has a grocery section which is a nice bonus. Otherwise it is a very standard Target and it has just about everything you've come to expect. The store is well organized and stock is usually plentiful. The minimal encounters I've had with the staff have been okay. For the most part they are helpful and nice, although I've come across a few that were less than excited to be doing their job. The parking lot can be a madhouse at times. I always park way out and away from everyone to avoid the nonsense. *Target has recently "respectfully asked" people to not carry guns in their stores, but I respectfully decline their request and conceal carry anyways. However, I would mark this business as not gun carry friendly, with particular reference to open carry. read more

I come here a lot with the wife. We love Target. but this one is much better because it's a "SUPER" Target. There aren't many Super Targets in Northern Va. But I have been to ones in Florida. The people at this one are really nice though. They have Marvel and DC Comic T-Shirts! :) Their plain hot pretzels from the cafe thing are freaking amazing. They have lots of furniture. We got our outdoor furniture set from here. They have complete grocery store, eye care, furniture, a cafe, even a Starbucks... In general, Target is awesome, but this Target being Super just makes it that much more awesome. :) read more

I used to live in Gainesville and this Target was my go to for so many things! I was visiting a friend last night and had to stop by for some dog food. The set up is still the same, their carts are plastic, light and easier to push around the store than those heavier ones at other targets and what I love most about this place is their customer service and cleanliness, ALWAYS on point! The layout is very nice, it feels very open when you first walk in through the market side. The aisles are clean and organized (with the exception of the school supply aisles, which I imagine kids are the reason why this section doesn't seem to stay organized) it's very easy to find what you want! I noticed that they have self Check out aisles now, which is PRETTY awesome! I didn't use it of course, because I wasn't trying to pick up that heavy bag of dog food anymore than I had to. I am ALWAYS happy with the Gainesville Target! Everything is always freshly stocked (yes I tend to go on a weekly basis for home purchases), the store is super clean and staff has always been super friendly! I am taking away one star, however, for the terrible produce this Target always seems to have - I typically don't shop here for groceries, but if I happen to be here shopping and want to grab stuff to make dinner, I almost never buy from their produce section because 9 out of 10 things are brown or look like they've been sitting out for weeks. ok this super target is like going onto the airport or better than airport more spacious and combining Harris Teeter like grocery and Walmart is so awesome..i went to target last night after geting of work and boy do i like it but i thing the lighting is not as bright like Fairfax's target. If i bought something that means its worth going here. normally i don't buy stuff from discount stores. They have starbucks, grocery store *limited items*, pizzahut, eye center, and more...their color theme is red so everything is red and i sure like their $10 music/dvd option but i rather download it for free. ipod is pricer from where i bought it from and electronic wise prices are alright i bought lexmark (cheap brand) printer for $50 its worth buying it. on receipt they won't show the original price but arrow mark going down so u know its for sale but that's ok. pharmacy looks pretty busy but u've got options to go Giant AND Walgreens/drive thru. i hate crossing over to CVS. i'm planing to come here or fairfax store again...no walmart for me. read more

I'm not sure what to say about this new renovation. The new store set up reminds me of IKEA -- you have to snake your way around to find anything. It makes very little sense to me except that perhaps the idea was to force you to go all the way through the store and encourage impulse buying. I don't like that kind of manipulation and the setup if frustrating for me. I avoided this store during the renovation and found that I am quite comfortable going to Walmart Haymarket when I need something like folding tables and paper napkins at the same time. It's a lot better than many targets we've been to. Their shelves are always well organized and stocked. They have a Starbucks in there. So pick a nice drink and begin shopping! So I live in a place where I can drive to the Chantilly Target or go to the Gateway Center Target that is maybe 5 minute-ish longer. I will definitely always go to this Target if I have the option. I love how large the produce, bakery, meat, dairy section is. It really is a spectacular Super Target. This Target is always clean and the staff is super friendly. One time--my fiance and I were waiting in line and the manager comes up to use with a coupon with 5 dollars off because he wanted to apologize for the long wait. It was a really nice gesture. *we weren't even waiting that long! haha* TIP. They offer Wifi so connect to the Target wifi. If you are looking up products and can't find them in the store--the Target site will show you what aisle it is in the store you are at. I wish all stores did this! Like the Target - good selection, groceries, but I adore the medical clinic! It is quick, easy, the NPs are really competent, kind, and helpful! It has helped me so many time to get little things like ear infections addressed quickly without having to miss time from work for me or wait until a Monday and have a kiddo miss school. Side note... All the people who comment about the produce - yeah, they are spot on but I consider the value of target the pantry items when it comes to groceries! read more

And this is the third visit the warm food case has been completely empty at nearly noon. I will probably be back because the location is convenient when I visit family here in Virginia. This Super Target has a great sales floor aesthetic. Every time I have shopped at this store, management has made sure that neatness counts. I have four reasons for giving it a one-star rating. No matter how aged your face looks and the number of gray and white hairs on your head, purchasing alcoholic beverages demands the presentation of a government-issued identification to the cashier at the check-out. After doing comparison shopping at Walmart, local drug stores, Dollar Tree, and regional grocery chains, just about all of the merchandise in the store is overpriced, which includes all the Target house brands (Archer Farms, Market Pantry, Simply Balanced and Up and Up). The refund policy is questionable. Even with the cash register receipt, a customer returning too much merchandise over a period of time gives Target the right to refuse a refund. So shop carefully and make sure that sure that anything you buy from Target is merchandise you don't plan on returning for a refund. The check cashing policy is a joke. Target's policy regarding the acceptance of checks for payment of merchandise involves finding a reason not to accept checks at all. read more

I prefer the Target on 28 simply because the layout is better, it is easier to find what I am looking for and there are self checkouts at both ends. This Target doesn't seem to have everything or if they do, it isn't where it should be. Very hard to understand where one thing begins and another ends in the clothing areas. Worst Target I have ever been to. 2 times I have had bad interactions at the checkout line. The first time my wife ordered something I went to pick it up and didn't have the receipt. I was told that I would not be getting any thing that my wife ordered in the nastiest manner ever. Fast forward to today and I was having issues scanning grapes at the check out line, and a lady shouted I was scanning the item wrong! I told her then why do the grapes have a barcode on them smh.. This is an easy in and out place - it has entrances from the main road and side road. It's clean, well lit and has everything that you should be able to find at a super target. The wine prices are pretty good too! What more can you ask for? read more

My daughters have been buggin me for these toys called "mini-brands" for weeks. Finally had a day to go out and try and find em in manassas. No luck, looked up on Target.com and it said the gainesville target (15-20 mins away) had em in stock. Took a drive over there.. huge mistake, seems like most employees are so reluctant to help. I hope they get the same treatment when they go out looking for things. Asked this one worker where they would be, she seemed like she was in a rush to go on break or something. She called some guy on the walkie talkie.. and told him they the items were not where they should be (aisle N20). Instead something else is there. She looked it up on her phone and it said they had 40+ in stock. Yet not one was in sight. Supposedly he "checked" the back and they werent there. All they could offer me was a "looks like we dont have em" and walks away. What woulda happend if i clicked purchase for pickup because it would be "ready in 4 hours) . I wish there was a negative rating. I can't stand this Target store. The manager there (a young, Caucasian male with brown hair) is rude and beyond unprofessional. They also have a security guard (short, African American, male) Who is just as rude and even began talking trash to me like he wanted to fight. Really? this is supposed to be a family place and you have two staff there in positions of authority treating people like garbage? This Target store is an embarrassment to the Target brand. The only reason I didn't give them one star is because their customer service is pretty decent. Even though I've had an issue when trying to contact an associate via the phone station and was hung up on multiple times, in general I haven't had much issue with associates and they've been kind and helpful. My issue with this target is how poorly they handle their inventory. Most recently I've come across entire baskets of white onions that were moldy, they don't restock their products in a timely manner, and just the other day I reached for some of their packaged fruit and was met with a handful of slime and mold, which I took a picture of. Whoever manages the store needs to do better with inventory. These are things I'd expect from Walmart, not Target. read more

This was my second time using Minute Clinic. The first time was at a different location and the service and billing was fine. I was seen both times for the same illness. However, this time they sent my lab results to a lab that my insurance does not cover. Instead of just paying my copay, I now have to pay an additional $213.50. I have spent hours trying to get this resolved and Minute Clinic has been awful to deal with. Im so angry that they will not admit fault. Beware when going to Minute Clinic!!!!
