Bro I'm so sorry but I need to change my review. I've noticed a change in this particular tj maxx…read morelocation. I'll break it down. Some of you may agree or disagree but again this is based on what I've seen and experienced ! 1. Taking advantage of non-English speakers Im not the only one who sees this in many employees. I've noticed these two employees are INCREDIBLY pushy on non-English speaking people/people who have a limited vocabulary. They will not stop pestering them until they give in. It irritates me in a way since I'm myself am Hispanic/Latino. 2. The line can take forever I found a super cute dress today I loved. All of the employees were signing up people for the credit card and I feel like there should be two or one registers or even a credit card sign up desk because you have alot of people in line waiting and these sign ups take so long. The people in front and behind me were very irritated cause 10 minutes have passed by and we haven't moved a bit.. I had to put the dress back cause I just didn't feel like the wait was worth it. 3. A change in staff attitude I noticed (not all) but many of the employees here are very rude and condescending. Such as attitude and rolling of the eyes at customers (they haven't done anything to provoked them like being mean first or messy) which throws me off That's all honestly I come to this place VERY often almost everyday lol so I can definitely see a change and the pace of the store is becoming slower and slower.

I came specifically to look at their books and the prices of books was amazing. I brought a novel home for $3.99. They have a lot of kitchen and home goods, rugs and small selection of garden things. I looked at the prices of some of their home appliances and it was fairly priced. What put me off about this place was the restroom mainly. It was so dirty, and not maintained. I blame mostly customers for throwing stuff on the ground including dirty toilet paper, who does that? There were not a lot of employees but someone should check in on the bathrooms because it was so gross. The employee at the checkout was so sweet and welcoming though, so I think I would come back if I'm in the area again.

This tall bigger white lady decided to notice me as a shopper and on her shift WORKING! She drifted…read moreme away from her by grabbing me a cart at first very unpleasant annoyed look. When I gently asked her where the lamps were of any kind. She raised her voice so sternly.. "THERE ARE NO LAMPS AT THIS LOCATION HERE"... So after that I didn't even know how to continue my shopping I just made sure to grab what I needed and leave her aggressive attitude. Right before I left a Hispanic male had started his shift and she again got shot red in the face and yelled at him. I didn't feel comfortable. When leaving I felt so drained and disgusted to ever go to a store like that again. A day that had to be so simple turned out so profiled into what a shopper shouldn't have to feel what so ever. I'm a young HISPANIC American mother who didn't have to deal with that kind of discrimination. it was my first experience of this store. If there wasn't any knowledge to where something was looking for it her self is something that was her job to do. Know where things are in a store.

It's kind of annoying from an environmental perspective - if you like their soap - you have to keep throwing out the pump bottles and buy a new one. I think I am going to have to start looking at the competition for an alternative - one that does offer a way to buy a large refill. I picked up the Tropical Passionfruit, Sparkling Peach, and Coconut Lime Verbena hand soaps. I really like the way the store smells! I mentioned to the cashier about my gripe - she agreed they should offer refills. She recommended I contact the corporate office to communicate my views on this - I had already done so - over a month ago - no response thus far.
