This was my third purchase from Ashley Furniture in Manassas. The first time I ordered a dining room set and a large sectional couch (total around $5,500). The middle section of the couch was not delivered with the rest, so I went a few weeks with an incomplete couch. Other than that I was happy with Ashley Furniture overall. The second purchase was for a mattress set, which was delivered with no issues. The third purchase from Ashley Furniture in Manassas was for a 4 piece entertainment center/tv stand, a coffee table with 4 little stools that tuck underneath it, a L shaped sectional couch, and a TV stand fireplace. They called me when the furniture was ready for delivery and we set a date a few days ahead so I could arrange to take off work. The morning of the scheduled delivery I got a call that my fireplace tv stand arrived damaged, so that would not be delivered that day. When they arrived, it wasn't the TV stand fireplace that was damaged and not able to be delivered, it was the bottom/core piece of the 4 piece entertainment center that was not delivered. In addition to that, THERE WAS NO COUCH. The drivers had no clue about a couch. On top of that, the top of the TV stand fireplace was damaged and loose on one end. Then when I checked the confutable with the 4 little stools, they were all scraped up underneath and looked like they were used or had been the floor model. The 3 pieces of the 4 piece entertainment center appeared fine, but since the bottom piece was not there I was not able to have it set up to even know if it was damaged or not. I immediately called the store manager and explained that the delivery guys were currently in my home, informed him about the damaged and missing pieces, and asked him where my couch was. The manager remembered me, even remembered my husband's name, and asked me to hold while he looked in to it. He left me on hold for several minutes so the receptionist picked up and asked for my name and phone number. I explained that I was waiting for the manager to look in to something, then she told me that he was busy helping another customer and would give me a call back. Well, that was Friday and it is now Tuesday evening and I still have not received any calls. I asked my husband to call as well, and he also left a message for the manager to return his call. He never got a call back either. The receptionist basically told me that "all sales are final" and that even if I refuse delivery, they will just send them back to the warehouse and deliver different ones. That I am not able to return anything. For the record, I didn't want to return anything. i only wanted to know where my items were and when all of the pieces would be delivered. But since I was ignored, then rudely told that I am stuck with this deal, I decided that I a=will not be forced to do business with a business that treats men in this way. When I checked my Synchrony credit account, I noticed that I had been charged for the couch since September, the date of purchase. Yet I was told at purchase that I would not be charged for anything until delivery. Hmmm. I still have no idea where that couch is. It was a clearance item that was on the showroom floor, not something they had to order from the warehouse. I see how important I am to Ashley Furniture Manassas. I spent 10 grand (Ten Thousand Dollars) in a 2 year period, and even expressed to them that my next purchase was a new bedroom set next year, and they still don't value me as a customer. I was very excited about receiving this new furniture. My husband had been up until 4am the night prior to delivery to finish painting the living room it was all to go in. It really broke my heart to not have my furniture, and also at the way I was treated and disregarded. I hate to say that I will never do business with Ashley Furniture ever again. I really do like the product, but I refuse to be treated in this manner. If you respect yourself, please shop somewhere else. I also left numerous messages with their corporate office. Dishonest and Deceptive - Stay Far Away! If I could give Ashley's Furniture in Manassas zero stars, I would. This place is the definition of dishonest business practices. I was promised a 2-year no-interest financing deal, and I trusted their sales team to honor that agreement. But after making a few swaps on my order, they created a new bill and conveniently left out the financing deal we had initially agreed upon. No one bothered to explain this change, and I only found out when I was slapped with insane interest fees after the first year. What makes it worse is their absolute lack of accountability. I went back to the store multiple times hoping someone would help me or at least acknowledge their mistake. But instead, I was met with nothing but excuses and indifference. The sales team? Useless. The managers? Even worse -- they acted like it wasn't their problem. It's clear they'll say whatever it takes to get a sale and then disappear when things go wrong. And don't fall for their insurance scam either. They'll push it hard, promising that it covers "everything" -- but surprise, surprise -- when it's time to use it, they'll find every excuse not to pay up. It's a complete money grab, just like the rest of their shady operations. I can't stress enough how much I regret trusting this company. Ashley's Furniture isn't just incompetent -- they're deceptive and unethical. If you're thinking of shopping here, DON'T. They'll smile in your face, promise you the world, and then leave you drowning in hidden fees and frustration. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that values honesty and customer service -- because you won't find it here. read more

My husband and I went to the store to see the 6 piece living room set we saw online for a good price. The guy Victor came to help us and showed us a 10 piece rectangle table wood dining room set, he said he could give us for $840. We asked how much would the dining room set be with taxes, delivery, and the 5 yr warranty and Victor said $1090. I told Victor we would be back to pay the full price on the whole dining room set and I just needed to move the money from my savings to my checking at an ATM because my cell phone is not working properly. When we came back to the store Victor told me his computer is not showing the 10 piece rectangle table dining room set and he could give us a 6 piece round table wood dining set for $1025. I was angry and felt like he lied to us the whole time. I told Victor we really looked forward to getting that dining set. My husband was angry and walk off. Victor said his computer is showing something different than the other computer on the floor. He tried to show me but I could not see what he was talking about. We left the store deciding to look somewhere else. I called and spoke to the Manager Jim, explained what happen. The manager Jim took my name and phone number and said he'll call me back. I went to Ashleys furniture July 3rd in need of a sectional to go in my living room, once I arrived I was approached by a sales associate that didn't really help much & was pretty standoffish he barely wanted to show me anything at all to be honest. Moments later I was approached by Zee & I must say she made me feel way more confident about making a purchase. She went over the different material, new technology etc. Ashley Furniture has to offer along with the sectionals they had available at the moment. Just when I thought I had my mind made up she told me come back for the 4th of July sale & I am so thankful for that. Not only did Zee help me make a better decision that best suited me & my family, (I have little children so I needed a dark colored sectional & something more durable) but she also helped me save more money than I would've the day before, & she actually helped me make a better decision while staying within my budget as well. Next time family, friends etc. are looking for furniture I won't hesitate to refer them to Zee she's very professional, knowledgeable & really has the customers best interest at heart thank you again for everything you are appreciated! read more

We recently stopped in the Manassas store and Steven greeted us at the door asking if we needed any help, we told him we were just looking. We proceeded to walk around the store looking and found several pieces we really liked. Steven periodically checked in to answer any questions we had but didnt hover and wasnt overly salesy. For us, this was the right approach, we had no intentions that day of purchasing anything but Stevens technique and his quick yet informative answers along with the great prices led us to furnish several rooms in our house. Additionally, the day after we bought our furniture there was a sale, and I recalled Steven saying if the prices go down they'll reimburse us. There was another piece I didnt initially get so I stopped by and again worked with Steven. I was able to get the additional piece I wanted by applying the reimbursement I was due to discount the piece and I got it at an unbelievable price. I will definitely be shopping here again, and working with Steven. Thank you for a great experience !!! read more

We purchased a coffee table and 2 end tables from the Manassas location. The pieces were delivered in an appropriate time frame, but the color looked so dark in my house, much darker than in the store. I initially was not happy, but after going to the store, the manager, Kevin, worked with me, and I found something else I thought I would like from their digital catalog for an exchange. He got one of the tables delivered to the store, and allowed me to take it home to see how it would look in my house. I loved it, so I ordered a coffee table, 2 end tables, and a matching TV stand. And note - they honored the online pricing. Everything looks great, and I couldn't be happier! Kevin definitely took care of us!! The delivery crews were very polite and professional for both the original delivery and the exchange. In speaking with the distribution center, they were helpful and professional, and friendly as well. All in all, it turned out very well, thanks to everyone, and especially Kevin! read more

Our family had a wonderful experience at Ashley furniture store in Manassas Virginia! They were very accessible in case we had questions about the products but did not hover over us. They let us check out the furniture on our own. Everyone was extremely nice and professional. Delivery could not have gone better either. They were happy to change the date when we needed it. The drivers were extremely professional and polite and there was someone from the home office who called to ensure the correct product was delivered and everything was done to our satisfaction before the drivers left. Absolutely wonderful customer service and quality throughout the process. They get five stars in my book! I have nothing at all to complain about. We love, love our new couch! read more

We were looking for new furniture for our living room. We first went to a different store but the prices were very pricey. We then went to Ashley Furniture and saw several good, affordable options. Our sales associate, Lorena Molina, was extremely helpful. She was a good listener and paid attention to our budget and tastes, without being overbearing or pushy. I do not recommend Ashley to buy furniture's. Horrible experience with Ashley customer care and the delivery team. Not customer friendly at all. They were so mean, very rude, and not taking things seriously at all even when the mistakes were completely on their side. I ordered furniture's on March 12 but they were able to set it up only on May 24 after multiple failure deliveries attempt (4 times) due to sending wrong parts, damaged parts, missing parts. read more

We had a great experience with our recent purchase from Ashley furniture. Great sales person listened to our needs & was able to provide the furniture we needed. Timely and accurate deliver mad the experience that much better & they were friendly enough to allow us a few different setup options, you don't see that very often. Great respectful customer service and great prices. I shopped furniture stores throughout Fairfax County and this Ashley store had by far the best selection and the most affordable prices. Delivery notices were given staring two days out and up until that morning. Delivery guys were polite professional and on time. And I got no interest financing. We have been coming on and off to the store for several weeks trying to furnish my first apartment and they have been with us every step of the way helping us and guiding us through everything. they are very responsive they have all of the answers to any questions you could have. Hi, Just want to take back some of the nice things I said about the delivery guys. They put a large scratch on the door as well as left some trash on June 20th of this year. I paid $168 for premium service to get my sectional put together and this is the result. I want my money back for the premium service at least. I contacted customers services a couple of times. We had a size restriction with our living room, and she worked with us until we found the perfect solution - without being overbearing!
