We were greeted at the door by the owner, Maged, who was not at all pushy, but instead encouraged us to look around and promised he would get us a good deal. When we didn't find what we were looking for, he sent us 2 minutes down the road to his other store. There, we found exactly what we wanted--a Jackson Furniture L-shaped sectional (sturdy and American-made) under our budget. Maged insisted on covering shipping costs for us and told us to expect our new couch in 8 weeks. It arrived in less than a month! We now have the most comfortable sofa on the planet and we can't stop lounging on it (or bragging about it) :) Bottom line: Maged provided exceptional customer service and bent over backwards to get us what we were looking for at a good price. You go into a mattress place, you order a mattress, and they deliver it to you. That's how it works. But that's not all. They also try to sell you other stuff. They had some sheets. They were $45 sheets, but they were on sale for $15. We were stupid, and we took the bait. Go ahead and laugh at me. I'm being honest here and sharing this so as to warn people. But we could have gotten better sheets than that for $5. I have no reservations about going to this place (except for the other reviews - Heavens to Betsy). The store manager was not able to assist and gave us the district manager info. We have tried to reach him for three days and no response. The DM voice mail says I will call you back in 24 hrs or sooner yet no response. We are now trying to reach a regional manager or someone that can assist us in resolving this matter. I'm afraid I would not be able to recommend this company at this time. I'm hoping we can work this out and I can return to my original recommendation. We went to Ashley Furniture and found that Mattress Warehouse sold and delivered the old version of the Temper Up foundation that is very wide and made it impossible to use with our king bed with drawers. We told the sales staff we had a bed with headboard and footboard with drawers and trusted them to sell us the right bedding. Little did we know they sold us the wrong foundation. They sold us the old model. The current model is very thin and would have been a perfect fit. They refused to take it back or swap it for the correct foundation and we never heard from the store District Manager "Chad" or anyone else from Mattress Warehouse My last words on this matter is DO NOT PURCHASE FROM MATTRESS WAREHOUSE ON LIBERIA RD MANASSAS. They do not know what they are selling. I feel bad for the sales guys trying to make a living but we definitely got the ripped off. Not only did we find out the foundation was an older model, the pricing was much higher than sold at Ashley. Ashley sales staff said we would have gotten the thin foundation with the head and foot motion and been much much less. The foundation was a def $1400 mistake from Mattesss Warehouse. I was told firm, I needed medium-firm so I was good with that. After struggling for weeks for comfort I found that the manufacturer deems the mattress medium-soft. I'm now attempting to sell this mattress because it causes even more pain and even though I was misinformed I was told that "we aren't responsible for comfort issues". This is an ALL SALES FINAL store so leave the store and do your research if you are spending a lot of money. It's been 8 weeks and several contacts, I'm still waiting for the leg extension kit that I was promised. Would I go back, probably not for a high end mattress.

The Allenton King that I purchased was sagging so when my parents offered to get me a good quality mattress I figured I would see how the warranty process went. If they didn't stand behind it I still had a mattress, but if they did then it would give me the opportunity bless someone the way I was blessed. It started out fine. Once the mattress my parents got me came in I contacted Barry via Facebook and he asked me to contact his partner via text. I was asked to send pictures of the mattress, the problem areas and the actual tag on the mattress. The pictures were sent and the approval came rather quickly. We set up a time for me to come pick out a new mattress. I inquired at this time about the return process of the old mattress and was told it would be discussed once I pick out a mattress. Up until this point I was pretty confident that things were going to go well. Upon going in to pick out the mattress was when things started going downhill. Upon entering the business I was wearing a mask. The first thing he said was masks aren't necessary for him. I told him I wear mine because I do senior Home Health and it is out of respect for my client and their family. He told me masks are stupid, but did say he wasn't calling me stupid. I was disturbed because 4 days prior to this meeting a local pastor we both know died from the virus. Due to the conversation regarding the pastor he was aware I use to attend that church. He then asked where I attend now. When I told him he said he use to be on staff and was so happy not to be there anymore. As many times as he said it I began questioning him because my church is AMAZING. At this point I'm just trying to get out of there because I don't feel like I can say what I want because if I make him mad I might end up having a problem getting the replacement. By now I've told the person who is getting the mattress that since it was approved I would be gifting it to them when it comes in so I didn't want there to be a problem at this point. He gave me instructions for return and said I would be without a mattress, but I told him it wasn't an issue because I had another mattress. I told him at that time that I don't have a truck so I have to get someone to bring it. He said he would be at the office most of the day Saturday. I told him I would try to get someone, but I had to check. He said if I couldn't we could set up something for the following week. The person who I asked for hurt at work so Saturday was out. I let him know so he wouldn't be expecting me. He told me to get with him the following week. I sent my first text Tuesday. He told me he didn't have any appointments scheduled yet so he couldn't tell me a time yet. At this time I explained that I only had a truck and someone to move it Friday anytime after 12. He said he would be there Friday, just not sure when. I told him if I couldn't do it Friday it would be the following week because Fridays is when I can do it. After that it was rudeness and I was told to check Thursday evening or Friday morning (such a great amount of time to plan when you are asking people to be available to help you) Thursday comes and I wait until 7:11pm as to not irritate him. I waited all evening to hear anything. Basically, he won't make the time to come to honor the warranty and give you the same customer experience as a person coming to buy. I vented to a friend who made an online appointment to purchase a mattress just to see if he would contact her. When I got up this morning I had a text at nearly 11pm saying he would be there 11-1130. Had she not done that I don't think I would have heard anything at all. I honestly am confused about what happened for him to start responding so rudely. I don't know if it was the fact that it was in regard to a warranty (which I doubt because everything was fine up regarding it up to the point of me coming in the office), our opposing views regarding masks and the Covid virus or the fact that he dislikes my church so much. Whatever it is/was this whole thing was testing the integrity of the business to see if they stood behind their word. The salesperson I worked with was knowledgeable and listened to what I needed. While he showed me some more expensive options, when I selected something less expensive that I thought was a better fit for my needs, he didn't push me to buy the pricier option. So, sales aspect of this place gets an "A". They didn't have the mattress I wanted in stock so it had to be ordered. 10 days after I had ordered, I called and they seemed a little surprised that I was still waiting to hear about when the mattress would arrive. Altogether, from the time I ordered to the time the mattress was delivered was over 2 weeks. Even though my townhouse is about 10 miles from the store, they charged me $49 for delivery because I live in the District. And on the day of the delivery, the 'delivery' was one skinny guy with a pickup truck. No way he was going to get the mattress up to the 3rd floor by himself, so my husband had to help schlep it up two flights of stairs. So, in effect, we paid for the guy to get the mattress to us on a pickup. I kind of feel like they should pay US for the manpower we provided to actually deliver the mattress to the bedroom. The 'service' after the sale is the reason for the 3-star rating. I liked the salesperson but I feel like the wait time and the delivery experience were not at the same level.
