I am in love with Target. It's a store I'll go to for 1 item, but I never leave without walking around the whole thing at least once. The reason this location is SO fabulous is because Automall is definitely the up-and-coming shopping area (though I'm not sure about the name...."The Block"?). Also, it's brand new and perfectly stocked, and CLEAN. I was lucky enough to drive by with the boy on March 7th (they secretly opened 3/6) and there were only 5 other patrons in the store! If only it were like this every time :) We all know the cleanliness and order won't last forever, but the employees were all super friendly and sweet and it's a giant location with groceries and produce. I had such an amazing experience the first time I visited this Target but every visit since then has felt more and more like a Walmart. There is always trash overflowing outside by the front doors & the women's restroom seems to be completely trashed every time I try and use it. Honestly, it feels like every time I go here, the store looks worse. The Walmart by my house is cleaner and that's just wrong! It is super annoying when on a BLACK FRIDAY like the one in 2016, you visit the store for a store pickup, the computer systems are down, and the guy needs to access your cell phone to view your order, cancel it, and put it on the credit card in your wallet instead of the credit card you used in your order. Nice, clean new Target. But the only complaint is the workers are just as new as the store. I asked where something was and a worker had to turn to her coworker to ask her... Starbucks and Pizza Hut are also attached to it, much like the Target on Story in San Jose. It's true that the location of Target is kind of secluded and not really near anything. But eh. Since this location opened up, I've been a frequent customer. This store is huge, compared to other Targets and every aisle is clean and organized. I usually go to Walmart since it's much closer to where I live and the prices seem relatively cheaper but when I have a long list of things to get, I would come here. read more

*Snif snif* gotta love that new store smell! Brand spankin' new store at the "Block" at Pacific Commons and everything is so shiny and new. Pretty easy to find close parking in this huge parking lot. Of course whenever I go it's during the week (Mon-Wed) when my weekend starts. Decent grocery section (thanks for the FREE Dozen eggs coupon Target!) Close to my house being only a freeway exit away. Of course Newpark Mall was close enough to me too. This Target floor plan is huge and the employees are friendly and happy to help you find what you need. I'll now be dividing my business between this new location and the Target on Fremont Blvd depending on where my errands take me for the day. read more

I am literally shocked at the reviews for this location. I've been to many Targets (my boyfriend says I have a problem) and I'm obsessed with this company lol. Today was my first time ever being in this location. My boyfriend and I were stunned and this became our new favorite location! Honestly, Target is Target anywhere you go they have the same stock. Somethings that I was looking for weren't in stock but being me I don't mind because I'll literally go back to any Target a few days later. The staff was friendly but I never really ask for help. I work in customer service, so I know a thing or two about when a employee is annoyed or rude or actually really helpful. People take things way too far and expect too much out of the employees, they are not your personal shoppers. I seriously love this Target tho, much bigger and cleaner than my home Target (on whipple road) but I will gladly come all that way to shop here because well... It's Target! read more

I used to work around this area and they had finally opened. I believe that this Target was the replacement for the Target from Newpark Mall. There is plenty of parking space since it is located in a private lot. Their parking lot has charging stations for electric cars so it would benefit for those who has one. Staffs seems to be friendly and welcoming when you enter. They have a Starbucks store open inside this joint so if you need a quick shot of caffeine, it is located to the right side of the entrance. The departments are well-put together and well-organized. I like to go a store where I can browse things and not disorganized (who doesn't right?!). read more

This is a nice Target! Clean and not too crowded. I used to live in Sunnyvale and the Target in downtown Sunnyvale always had bad parking and the one in Mountain View was super packed. A good tip is to park to the left of the entrance - there's a row of spots people rarely go to and you can usually find a close spot. read more

It was always a dream of mine that a Target be built in the Pacific Commons (now known as "The Block") area to make the outdoor shopping experience complete. So you can imagine my excitement when I happened to be passing by one day and noticed the oh-so-familiar red markings of none other than Target, complete with sign indicating "opening on" date. YES. I never have to go to Wal-Mart again (unless it's after 10p.m., which unfortunately, is the closing time for this location). Huge parking lot and modern-looking exterior makes for nice appeal. Inside is pretty standard as Targets go. I'm impressed by their speediness in stocking items- I came here one day and found a pair of shoes I liked, but alas, my size was missing. Came back the very next day and BAM- there were the same shoes in my size. Majority of staff here look a little on the younger side, but whatever- they're friendly and attentive, and give good custy servy- that's all I'm interested in. Will I come back? Oh yes. Yay! Target! This one is still relatively new, so the store is still snazzy and good looking. There is also a Starbucks inside this Target, so you can stop by and get your daily coffee fix before or after you shop. (fun fact: that Starbucks is owned and operated by Target, so those baristas are technically Target employees.) To be honest, my favorite thing about this Target is their parking lot and location. Right in the prime location of Pacific Commons, next to the movie theaters, lots of restaurants, and of course next to plenty of shopping. I briefly stopped by to pick up a few items that I needed for my night away from home; snacks, lotion, body wash, water, V8 fruit drink, and concealer. I think this is the best Target in Fremont or Hayward. This place has ample parking and the store is huge. It gets a lot of foot traffic at times since it is connected to all these places in the Auto Mall/Pacific Commons area. It usually is pretty stocked compared to the other Fremont Target and is much nicer as well. read more

OMGGG my most favoritest fave of faves of all targets! This store is so clean and always fully stocked, neat shelves and errthang! The parking lot is huge and I always seem to find a spot right in front. The architecture of the front of this store is even pretty nice. As you walk down the aisles all the shelves and floor just seems to gleam making your shopping experience so much nicer. I swear the air even seems cleaner than other stores. Perhaps it's all only because it's a new store, but still it makes me put it on top of the target store pedestal. Hope it will always be maintained so. Definitely one of the newest and nicest locations. Its a pretty standard Target store and layout. What I like best about this store is the abundance of parking since its currently the only major store in its corner. There's electric charging stations and it always seem to have some cool color'ed Fiat 500E charging there. The Starbucks inside is very convenient and I've never had a problem with returns. Its definitely our go-to place for anything household related since the prices, quality, and shopping experience just can't be beat by the competition. read more

This is my favorite Target ever! It's so new and huge and I love it! The location is great since there's many other stores next to it and across the store. The parking lot is gigantic and it's great! The store itself is very clean and spacious. It's huge, unlike the other branches. It also has a produce area where you can get grocery. But I think most Targets are starting to do that now. I feel like this store just has more variety in selections in clothing, cosmetic products, food, and several other things as well. I come here pretty often because I feel like there's a more selection in certain things. Overall, my shopping experience here is great. read more

Stop by Target and pick up those items you need (paper towels - on sell; will last 3 months in large size - check; toilet paper; paper plates - some greeting cards and more). Target gets 5 stars from my end! So happy to have one here in Fremont that is close to my parents' house. They live right near Ohlone College, so having the Pacific Commons has been extremely efficient and awesome for us! Ever since I've been back in Fremont, I find myself at Target to get the most random things - kitchen appliances, groceries, birthday cards, clothes, etc. I love the Target clothing line, by the way. What is so great about this specific Target's is that it's just so darn organized! Clothes aren't flying over the entire place, and they have so much supply - I feel like whenever I find something, there's like 10 smalls, mediums, and larges in any article of clothing you want -- it's amazing! Also, their birthday card selection is awesome too. They carry funny cards, quotation cards, etc and even the Papyrus line. I never knew Target had such great cards - forget going anywhere else from now on! This place is great for the suburbs for this kind of stuff. It's no SF or big city, but it does the job. They have tons of cash registers and it's really easy to get in and out of here. They also have a Starbucks for all you coffee lovers. The only downfall is that I think the parking lot kind isn't that great. The spots are a little small (I feel like they're all compact size!), but the lot is huge so you'll have no problem finding one. Thanks for the new location, Target! read more

Alright guys, just wanted to write a follow-up review to last Friday's (9/7/12) experience. Haven't seen the same girl yesterday (9/10/12) neither today (9/11/12), now there are two Barista helping with taking the order and preparing the drinks, instead of one. Their attitude are very welcoming, as a matter of fact the two Barista who where serving today after lunch were already very pleasant, but after last week feedback, they showed a very warm attitude, even wrote nice notes on the paper cups, which was noticed by my female colleague. Whom also mentioned she noticed how attentive the (Barista) were with the order taking, and showed the patience on taking our orders. The experience was like day & night, compared to before and in particular last week's Barista. Now, hope they keep up the good service standard! read more

As far as Target stores go, this one is new, clean, spacious, and very organized. They have nearly everything you need for one stop shopping, and they have a Starbucks and Target food counter inside. Check out lines are never long, parking is ample, and staff is very helpful and courteous. Docking one star because I can't quite do all of my food shopping here. July 10, 2015 3.5 stars Came here to pick up some snacks before watching Inside Out at the Century at Pacific Commons and XD. I bought a large bag of variety chocolate(Ghirardelli), gummi bears(Market Pantry), and some soft candy(Mamba). ***Food*** ~Ghirardelli chocolate(62% chocolate, dark-mint, dark-raspberry, milk-caramel) Good, no off flavors, not expired, but can't really rate the food because it's not their product. I enjoyed the 62% dark best, since I enjoy dark chocolate more than any other types of chocolate. ~Market Pantry Gummi Bears Gummis are not dense or too hard from sitting on the shelf for too long. It was soft, but had no fruit flavor, but still enjoyable textured gummi. ~Mamba Good, but is not their line of products. ***Greeter, Staff, Wait*** I didn't notice if there was a greeter because I was walking a very brisk pace to try and get in and out of the store as quickly as possible, to rush over to have dinner and making our showing on time. Staff was nice, but waiting in the line to pay was long and because of this I was given a $3.00 discount for inconvenience. The one thing I didn't account for while I was waiting in line is the person in front of me making a purchase did not read her discount coupon properly and held up the line an additional 3-5 minutes, because they was under the minimal purchase limit for the particular item of purchase. ***Ambiance*** It's nice open, brightly lit, and a decent sized target. One unfortunate thing is the selection of sweets on offer and they not being very organized, so looking for items was challenging. ***Parking*** NOT INCLUDED IN RATING I was parked in a private lot near the Pacific Common theater and walked 5-10 minutes to get to this location. read more

I love that they are open late and that they are such a clean store. The store is usually well stocked and has a pretty friendly returns service department. I kind of wish they had more selection in the TV department but oh well. Maybe we went on a bad day. They had a huge variety of the nerf guns that we were looking for. read more

A lot of people that work here say things with a lot of confidence but don't know a damn thing about nothing. I give the workers props cuz the way they outright lie to your face is super convincing. Coming here is like dating a hot crazy person. Yeah it looks good on the outside, but then you just start to unravel all of these ridiculous things about them. I came to pick up an online order yesterday and they told me it got canceled and that I had to go pick it up elsewhere. Customer service rep at the self check out was irritated that the register kept needing assistance. So she felt the need to inform me that I had too many items to be in the self check out anyway. By the way there is no sign stating limitations on the amount of items . There were no other customers waiting for self check out and I wasn't causing a back up. She kept explaining to me how this was inconvenient. I understand the frustration I was going through it with her. I just felt like a burden to her instead of receiving her help. We waited in line at 3 AM for the super NES console that was being released at store opening at 8 AM. When I got there workers were present and they said there were 65 available. The line grew longer and longer but I knew I would get one (I came super early and I was #13 in line). A team member came out at 6:45 AM to tell us that all 65 were sold out because they sold them online. I don't know why they waited till 6:45 AM to let us know when we were all waiting in the cold.
