I USED-TO be a hard core Target customer but now... FORGET IT!! When I shop, I like to go thru almost every aisle and look at everything. Its kind of therapeutic for me BUT when you linger in Target for too long, the LOSS PREVENTION people start following you around. One time I looked up and the LP guy was staring at us from the top of some merchandise stand (all you could see is half this face with these eyes and head staring) In the Target at the Hub there was an LP staring at my daughter from a corner with his walkie talkie and my husband came up behind him and asked why he was staring at my daughter! The LP made us some excuse and said he was looking at someone else n walked away. It's degrading to (practically) be labeled a thief and you are a totally innocent person being harassed. I understand that they have to protect their merchandise but for god sake use some tact and use your surveillance cameras. They have lost a BIG TIME spending customer. One xmas, I spent about 400 bucks for the needy children for Costco wholesale and I SHOULD HAVE went to Walmart INSTEAD of Target because it was so uncomfortable trying to make decisions finding specific toys with these bastards following me around. Its a good thing that they treated us like that because now we have been giving our business to both of the Walmarts in Fremont and I can take my time and look thru everything and relax. read more

I like this target a lot since it's close to the theater. I get to drop by and buy food/snacks and put it inside my bag to sneak it inside the theater. I'm pretty sure a lot of people do that too to save money. Lol. Also, this target sometimes have good clearance, so keep an eye out of anything that you might need. read more

Today at target the older woman that checked me out cursed multiple times and was very unhappy with her employment their at target. It was disappointing to see such an unhappy woman working and complaining about her eight hour shift calling Target a shit hole she directed her comment twoards me and when I kindly suggest her to bring out her my device to check the online price of a Lego set I purchased she told me " don't you dare tell me how to do my job". I was with my two year old child and she suffers from autism so I didn't want to wait for a manager but I did want to speak to someone so that's why I also took the online survey I'm loyal Target customer and worked for Target in the past in the mobile department. For 4 years she left me with a very dissatisfied and horrible gut, wrenching feeling and I'm sure I'm not the only guest she made feel this way. She had a European accent and seem to be in her 60s. I think her bade may have said Alicia but I'm not sure I just wanted to leave after that experience with her. read more

Yay for shiny & new. Boo for a few minor details not given much thought. Located behind Lowes and across Kohls, this Target really does add a new flare to Pacific Commons. The parking lot is large, it offers the same amenities as other Targets, and the new employees are eager to help. Unfortunately, the buck stops there. This Target is secluded from other shops, restaurants and ATMS, so it doesn't offer much to the person looking to maximize their "one stop plaza" experience. Personally, the convenience of the Targets at NewPark or the Hub just make more sense to me. Lastly, while an electric car charging station is nice.. fewer of them would have been sufficient, and even better would be to place them on the sides of the lot. Not smack dab in prime parking vicinity. Come on, they can drive solo in carpool AND get preferred parking?? No fair. read more

I love this target!!!! Conveniently located in Pacific Commons, this Target has it all! It has a large selection of clothes and products. I love that it is SO BIG! I love buying clothes at Target, and at this one, you can be sure that the clearance and sale sections will have the size you're looking for. They even have a large selection of cute shoes! The grocery part of this Target is well stocked and everything is kept well chilled. This Target is truly your one stop shop! read more

dont buy this crap. targer sells you untrusted bad quality appliances. they always say it has a warrantee but its so much hassle. targer will not help you get a new product for this one. i bought it and stored it. the moment i used it after 6 months it broke. 5 use and it's done. they say if i dont have a receipt they cant refund me. fine but i wish they helped me getting a different product. they should know that this came from then. point is if target can sell you crap products, what else can that mean with the rest of the products. so much hassle. i don't deserve to go thru all these diving back and forth calling for warrantee fuck that. $35 dollars something. everything that target sells walmart has it. everything is also made from china so dont be fooled with branding. stay away. no wonder u have alot of stores closing. online stores are better than u. read more

Costumer service needs improvement. . . I decided to give 2 stars, 1 because I have to and 1 because I like Target. I will continue to shop at Target, however due to the costumer service I will avoid this location at all cost. My experience: Due to having a very busy day I placed a photo order for store pick up, so I can run in and out, quick & easy. I received an email at 8:20pm my photos were ready and arrived at 8:55pm. I walked up to the customer service counter where they do the photo pick up. I went to the open attendant (1) and she said, "You help her" to another attendant (2). She responded with a super sarcastic annoyed response, "Oh thanks". I let her know I was here to pick up my pictures, she turn to get them and you could see she was visual upset about it. I could hear her shouting and after about 5 minutes, she (2) came back and said, "I think you have the wrong store". I showed her my confirmation email, she continued looking. After 5 more minutes she came back and said, "They never printed, but we are reprinting them now". She did apologize, but it seemed disingenuous. I asked about how long it would take, she shouted to the back and then said 20 minutes (there was a big order currently printing). At this point, I am extremely frustrated as I am a commuter and have to be back at work the next morning now looking to not be home until almost 11pm. The store attendants offered very little comfort or reasoning for the error. Trying to make the best of things I went to shop and came back after 20 minutes, they both looked at me, instead of greeting me, the 1st woman said to (2), "Did you get the photos yet?", again super sarcastic she (2) responded, "No". (1) Responded, "while she is here can you go get them?", (2) "You get them!", (1) "You are closer", (2) Grunts and then huffs off to get them. When she handed me the photos I looked threw them before leaving. I ordered only 20 photos, they had given me about 10 photos that belonged to someone else (privacy issue). They offered no discount and overall didn't seem apologetic for the situation. When all was said and done, a quick in and out pick up ended up taking 40+ minutes. In my review: (1) Is first attendant, (2) is second attendant read more

This place sucks!!!! How do they want our business if they don't accept apple pay!!!! They are affiliated with currentC. I don't want to use ever!!!!! Target said they gave us option!!!! This store in particular is my favorite Target. I've been able to find some items that I can't find at other Targets which is a big plus. This is the only location where I've seen the workers actually greet customers. The cashier I had the last time I went here was very friendly and engaged in conversation as she was ringing my items up. This store is huge and the parking lot is also huge so you can always find parking. I also noticed that they have bike lockers which can be handy. I wish this Target was closer to me! I'd be here all the time. read more

Target is already the top competitor for stores of its kind. It already has a good name to it. "Oh I got this from Target!" "Dude, did you check Target?" "Yeah, Target has them for cheap." "Go to Target!" They provide the best quality for the price you are willing to pay (cheap) in an environment that doesn't make you feel dirty. But this location in particular has gone above and beyond the normal Target experience you're probably used to. The store is clean, like all the time. The staff are very helpful; they're attentive and very knowledgeable of their departments and of the rest of the store. If I ask anyone, doesn't matter if it's their department, they'll know where something specific is. Sometimes in other stores there's a chain of asking questions until someone finally knows where to find what I need. I haven't experienced that here yet, and that's a good sign. All the employees also always look like they're doing something important, but also are ready to help you whenever. This is a very good look on their part. They look productive but still helpful. Great for business I'm sure. They also have these awesome deals every now and then where you can get a $5 Target gift card if you purchase certain items. Sometimes you have to get 2 to do it, but if you're getting $5 back, it's totally worth it! Overall, Target is an excellent store, especially this location. This is the nicest Target I've been in and is definitely a go-to for anything. If you need anything from home decor, bathroom stuff, kitchenware, groceries, electronics, clothes, pet stuff, school and office supplies... they've got it all! I love this Target. Oh and they have free wifi! 4-stars no doubt! read more

What's there not to love about Target? This location is new, spacious, and clean! It's also conveniently located next to Costco, Lowes, restaurants, etc. They have a pretty large parking lot and yes you can charge your electric cars! Target is number one in my book for most of my every day purchases and their prices are comparable to Wal-mart and other convenience stores. They're also pretty organized and their employees don't look so miserable working there so they're more attentive and helpful. They also have great deals :) This location also has a starbucks located inside so can pick up a nice beverage as you shop! I just wish they had a self checkout because sometimes I don't want to wait in a long line for just one or two items. read more

Apparently target allows bulldogs in there store as I found out yesterday while shopping with my 5 year old son in the men's section. We were minding our own business and sure enough the dog came within a few feet of my son and lunged aggressively towards him. The owner had him in a complete restraint harness and managed to just get a hold of him before he could reach my son. We left the store immediately because my son was terrified and so was I given the damage these dogs can do to young kids as well as adults. It's absolutely hard to believe target management and security would find this to be acceptable to the customer experience in the store. Targets store policy after speaking to customer service is to only allow clearly identified service dogs. Bulldogs are not service dogs. Do better Target and take the security and safety of your customers seriously in the future. read more

Love this target cause it's always so clean and organized. Not busy and crowded like the hub, but some of the cashiers aren't too friendly and some are just plain rude. I like to coupon on occasion when it's convenient and if there's a good deal, but it seems like these old ladies have something against me trying to save a buck. For instant, if a coupon doesn't go through, they refuse to enter manually. And what's up with the false advertising? My stuff always rings up higher then what's actually priced on the shelf. Make sure u take a pic if u think the price listed is too good to be true! BEWARE if u are using more then 1 gift card, double check your receipts cause they tend to not scan all of them, happened to me a few times. read more

The doors slid open, as if knowing I wished to enter. I took my first step in. Another set of doors. Again, as if by magic, the second set opened, beckoning me to venture further. "Open sesame," I muttered under my breath, and I gathered my strength to go deeper into the belly of the Target Store at the Pacific Commons Shopping Center, a part of the Target Corporation and Target Brands. Instantly, a waft of popcorn air overcame me. Where was I? The entrance. Ahead was the value spot that everyone ignores, to the right were fellow souls exiting this land of retail, to the right further stood a Starbucks. I looked slightly left from the Starbucks and found a soda fountain of youth. Slightly left again was the source of the popcorn air, a Target deli thing mixed with a Pizza Hut Express. "That smells good, but I already ate," I whispered to myself. "What?" "Nothing," I replied to my mom. Our quest was simple. Trade our coins for a TYLENOL® potion. My dear brother had fallen ill upon his return from Berkeley. Two hours later, we met a merchant and made the trade. The merchant was sly, and bundled the potion of TYLENOL® Cold Multi-Symptom Liquid with two bags of Frito-Lay Cheetos®, three cans of Campbell's® Condensed Soup, and one bag of Market Pantry® Mozzarella Cheese. However, our need for the healing medicine was dire. We handed payment of said items and made our exit. As we walked towards our 240 horsepower carriage, I gazed back. Like an archer aiming for his bulls-eye target one last time, I stared into the Target Brands logo. Below it, a security guard was vacuuming the entrance mat. Fear not, brother, our journey into this strange land is over. We're coming home. read more

I was in dire need of dog food and made to wait 15-20 minutes at a time when the store was NOT busy because no employee was in the area and then no employee would check the stockroom. Lynelle paged someone named Erica, I think, and left. Erica never came. I waited in the area looking like I obviously needed assistance with countless employees walking by and not a single one asked me if I needed assistance. I asked someone named SHEHLA who was walking by, and she helped me by paging multiple times for someone assigned to the area to come. SHEHLA stayed with me until help arrived and she told the other employee what I needed. This other employee was EFRAIN (I explained to him what I needed and that it would be in the back) he went and checked the stockroom and lo and behold, they did have the item in-stock even though their device said '0' in stock. Please listen to your 'guests' when we say that you do have it. I have been buying this item for nearly 2 years and when the shelf is empty, and the device says '0' just check because 100% of the time someone has brought out a whole box of it like today. Thank you SHEHLA & EFRAIN & thank you blond-haired female who tried to help. I have worked in retail customer service and know that it's physically and mentally demanding and tiring, but I have never left a customer unattended- especially when they visibly looked like they needed assistance. Ya'll get paid higher than I ever did in retail so no excuses! read more

Something just have happened to this Target in recent months cause the shelves are not well stocked as before, and the staff just look miserable. Maybe under new management? The front displays are nice though. The other Target at the Hub had lots of staff that go out of their way to help, but not this one. No one wants to go back to the backroom to check on stuff. I get it, it's hard to find stuff back there, but that's why they should get them on to those empty shelves. I'm sure they'll eventually get their act together, but I'll stick to the Hub for now. read more

This is now the Target that is closest to my work. It's conveniently on my way home from work and when I came here, I found everything I needed to buy. Mostly everything that I found was in stock, except for the 17 ounces container of Faye 2% Greek Yogurt. I found shampoo, body wash, orange juice, mouthwash, toothpaste, basically all the essentials. Of course, there's plenty of parking as this Target pretty detached from the rest of the business center. The Starbucks area is extra large so there's plenty of seating for chatting and people watching. I didn't really get to explore this Target in depth because I was on my way home and I had refrigerator items getting warm in my cart so I hightailed out of there and breezed through checkout very quickly. So far this Target fulfills all my shopping needs based on this visit and once again, Target has put together another winner of a store that is full of stocked items and lots of variety displayed in a classy way. And since this Target has groceries...I can't think of a reason to go to Walmart anymore...? read more

Team member crew at this location is on point. They are all really friendly and do try to accommodate best to their ability. Unfortunately there is always a shortage of available checkers in the early evening work week. As soon as I walk in and hang a right, there are about 3 open registers and 6 guests deep in per line. Sometimes I'll get lucky and have a short wait if it clears up once I grab everything but most often not. If there is no one waiting at Guest services or even Target cafe, team members will gladly ring up for smaller items less than 10 or so. I've been able to utilize that option about 4 times when I'm in a huge pinch and have to get going and they have been willing every time. Only issue I have is the competitor ad policy. Target will match any competitor as pricing as long as it is for actual sell cost and not % off or with a buy 1 get 1 or 1/2 deal. Not sure why but Safeway ads aren't honored if it's considered "club price". I wanted to pick up sodas where it was $2 at Safeway but I figured going Target would make sense because I was going to buy a whole bunch of other things in addition to. Sadly they didn't accept it. Kinda silly if a guest was going to buy more items in addition to - like turning away more money because they didn't want to honor that one item for a lower advertised cost. Anyhoo thank you Target especially with the extended store hours. Great folks and red card makes it even better! read more

I have been coming to this target since 2012. They are so much better than Walmart. This would include the nice shopping carts as well. I recently switched pharmacy's from the newark Walmart because they are much more friendlier and just more competent. If you are in the pharmacy area there is this really nice girl that works there named Flora Wong. She called Walmart and took care of everything or me right on the spot. She also went ahead and got my phone number to text me for future medication refills. I have never had such competent care at a pharmacy. She also went ahead and called for my husband and switched over all his medications as well. I felt stress free about this process. Thank you Flora Wong for taking your time and doing a good job! Came to this location on 10/11/15 at 10am and booooy was this place a mess! There were signs and items all over the floor of the aisles. I was waiting for the cashier to give me my receipt & the target coupons that were printing for me as well. I noticed that 1 coupon that printed was for Starbucks!
