Tried to return Cat and Jack items within one year with receipt and manager would not accept. I even pulled up the Cat and Jack policy and she still would not exchange. Do not go to this Target! I love this store. Today before I entered the store there was a panhandler out front asking everyone for money before they entered the store. This is a big turn off to me but it has never happened to me at this location before today. Upon leaving I was approached by two men asking for money, I said I hav no cash, they then asked if I had Venmo or PayPal?? Seriously? I usually shop here to get oak milk, but recently it seems like they have been out of stock of the brand that I usually get. I asked this guy named Bryce who was organizing the fridge for help, and at first he thoroughly looked inside of the fridge to see if there was any left. Then he was looking through his work phone to see if there are any in the stock room. I had to wait a bit but at the end he brought out two different brands of oak milk. Neither of them were the brand that I usually get, but I ended up wanting to try a new brand because I was looking for oak milk in general after all. What really helped me decide though was the level of Bryce's hospitality, he was willing to stop doing what he doing to go a bit out of his way to help me out. Even if it is indeed a part of his job, I really appreciated that. I don't go here often, but every time that I went shopping here, although they don't have things in stock all the time, the staffs were always nice and willing to help. read more

I have been shopping here for 15 years. It has gone downhill so much. Probably due to all the congestion. The area seems to have been bombarded with so many stores and it's the only shopping place in the area. The parking lot is overcrowded. It's a headache to even deal with it. The employees are really nice at this store. Every employee we happened to walk by asked if we needed help finding anything. The lady that was doing the pickup orders (shopping for the items you purchased online) was pretty funny since she was coming up behind us on her cart. The cart they use is kinda noisy and she was basically apologizing saying that she wasn't coming up on us like she was racing to get the items, it's just how that cart sounded. She made a joke about it, which made our day. This store is fairly clean from the bathroom to all the isles. We found everything we needed pretty easy. The show department wasn't a complete mess which in all targets it is since no one can seem to put shoes they tried on back in the right place nice a neat how they got it. So that was a major plus for this store. I had to get my daughter shoes due to a whole ordeal trying to leave the house and I forgot them (toddlers are oh so fun sometimes!) I got myself some Starbucks because mama needs some caffeine, the Starbucks employees were super happy and polite. My local targets Starbucks employees are typically grumpy. This would be my go to target if I lived up here. It was a good target run... eh get it lol. read more

I'm leaving this store a 5 star review because of the great experience I had with guest services on Christmas Eve. My cousin and I came to this store 10 minutes before they closed at 8pm. I purchased an item from my local Target 2 days ago but was disappointed it didn't fit. I discarded the tag and receipt because I bought with the intention of keeping but then changed my mind because the size was too big. The gals at guest service were able to offer me a full refund and didn't give me a hard time at all. They were very nice, friendly and didn't give any attitude about why I was bringing this item back. I don't usually like returning things bc of the hassles that come along with it but these ladies didn't give me a hard time about it at all. I usually go to the SW target for pick they are much more efficient never had an issue every time I come to this location I wait. I had one item to pick up after waiting 20 minutes and seeing other cars that got there after me get their order before me. 30 minutes later and seeing several employees come out with orders I asked when can I expect my item, she said she didn't know asked for my last name I told her the entire time she had my item in her hand with no damn bag so I've waited 30 minutes for nothing when she had it the entire time while passing other cars their order! Customer Service - Employees are friendly and they have good return/exchange program. Pictures: You can print out pictures at the Kiosk. Clothing: I love purchasing my kids clothes from this location. Household items: Lots of selections on household items. They also have a electronic section. This target is tucked away from the freeway and is pretty much on the edge of West Sacramento new development area. Pretty nice place compared to most targets but the employees make the difference. Really kind and greeted me as I walked in which was nice. I was looking for something and looked lost but someone notice me right away and came to the rescue. Most places now days tend to forget that part of noticing a customer that's lost. They forget to stop for that quick moment just to check on ya to see if they can point you in the right directions. That's why I had to stop and write something about this target specifically. Huh, I have gone to this Target for the last decade and have never written a review. It's an ok Target. Since the remodel a couple of years ago it looks a lot better. I prefer coming here than Walmart, but even the Walmart on EG Blvd and now the new WM on Bruceville have remodeled or looks really nice inside, so I don't even mind shopping for essentials at WM anymore. It's hard to find people to help you here, but the other day, I was getting some Starbucks iced coffee in glass jars (a new product) and a very friendly Target associate helped me find the coffee in the wine/beer aisle. I think she happened to be in the food area only because she was soliciting for people to apply for the Target credit card b/c after she helped me, she asked me to apply but I declined. The clearance racks are great here, esp. if you can find items at 70% off. They used to go to 75% and even 90% off... not anymore. =( I like to find kids' clothes for my little one here and their shoes used to be good, but now I notice that the quality has gone down and the prices have gone up... I like how you can buy pretty much everything you need here now. The grocery section is comprehensive, prices are good. The 4 of the same manufacturer's coupons per HOUSEHOLD is kind of dumb. When my hubby and I shop here, we have to split up if we want to buy a bunch of the same thing, like say 8 cans of soup w/8 coupons. Staff can be really uptight and rude to those who use coupons, but other than that Target is a good place to shop. read more

Dirty employees stated that the person was busy at the moment or to call back later. I called back three different times on the same day. Some shady tactics going on here man. First time here and IT IS A HOT MESS!! My go to Target is the one on 4th avenue. It's fairly new compared to this particular target but man this place needs some heavy cleaning attention. I'm basing my review based on comparison between this target and the target on 4th Ave. First of, the Target on 4th is always spotless. Never have I seen that location in such a poor and unkept state. This one however, was a hot, hot mess. It looked like a scene right after Black Friday, and it freakin' June right now! Second, whenever lines starts piling up in the 4th Ave. Target, the managers or shift managers are ALWAYS ON TOP OF THAT, they immediately radio customer reps to open up cash registers and I never had to stand in line for too long of a wait. However, in this particular Target, they didn't do what 4th Ave. Target would've done. The lines were so long on all 4-5 cash registers, it was pretty ridiculous. So in conclusion, I probably wouldn't come back to this location. I would just stick with the 4th Ave. Target for the simple fact that they are always clean and on top of getting customers done and paid for. Also, in addition, the outside of this Target looks so grimey. Garbage and paper crumbs right at the entrance. read more

This is a very tepid three-star rating. To get to the cafe you have to navigate around the Starbucks line since they are positioned immediately next to each other. Good luck getting your cart around the line and between the tables and chairs. If there are even any carts to begin with. You'll probably have to go back out and find your own in the parking lot. Better to grab one on your way in, just to be sure. Keep an eye out for the myriad panhandlers popping up everywhere. Also, the parking lot is a bit of a concern due to the angles of lanes and lack of stop signs. Back to the cafe: It's small, unkempt, and something is almost always out or not working. The soda fountain is a mess. The aisles are just narrow enough for two carts to fit. Selection of merchandise is hit or miss and is often scattered all over the floor. The Cartwheel app makes it easy to save money here but often the items with the best deals have been scooped up early on Sunday, when the prices change. The staff are dismissive, save for the electronics staff. They treat every customer like a potential shoplifter. Frequently the registers do not honor sale prices and the cashiers will play ignorant to avoid having to call their manager over. You'll often have to bring the price card with you to prove your point and they'll still insist the register is correct. Overall this is a decent Target on the right day and time but often not worth the hassle. read more

I've shopped at this target for the last 14 years. I like shopping here as it is convenient, some of the things I don't like: having to walk to the back of the store to find the small section of men's clothing. All the way through the women's clothes, then when I get to the men's wears, there's always a bunch of women shopping in the menswear, the cash registers are horrible, why aren't they offset? I never know which line is for which register. One of the reasons I shop at this Target is I know where everything is. It is now under renovations and everything is being moved around, I absolutely hate this, I shop as early as possible to spend my $150, so I can get in and get out. Be aware- they don't wipe carts down. Today during my visit I watched them round up shopping carts straight from the parking lot and put them right where customers are supposed to grab 'clean' carts. The cart sanitation area was unmanned and the employee did not even go over there to wipe anything down. Instead he went to get a squirt of the hand sanitizer and then head back out. Right after this, customers took the carts he had just brought in. Fix this! We are in the middle of a pandemic, people! read more

I don't even know where to start. This location is horrible and their security team is full of bimbos. I stood in the order pickup/exchange & return line outside today and was called in by a Target employee. As soon as I step foot inside, she asks "Are you two together?" I was confused because I was alone and no one was with me. As soon as I look over my shoulder, a gentleman with a brown Cowboy hat, white colored sweater/shirt, and some shorts says "yes" to which I reply "No, we are not together. I don't know him." She told him to go back outside and wait. This man proceeds to put his arm around my neck and pulls me into him and says "Yes, we're together." I quickly push him off of me and told him to not touch me. He laughed and walked off right inside Target. No Target employee interfered, no security was called, and everyone just watched this man walk off inside without a slap on the wrist. I felt extremely violated in your store and do not intend to come back to this location ever again. On May 12th, your security team had the nerve to force my husband and I back outside to wait in the order pickup line after Target had screwed up my order. We were already inside the store when there was no line outside, purchased more things and came back to order pickup (because they asked us to after they apologized that the order was incorrect even after I received a confirmation email to pickup.) But when someone is being violated and touched without their consent, no Target employee or manager or security is there to take any action. This speaks volumes. I wear a hijab and it is a representation of my religious affiliation and chastity. It maintains my modesty and privacy from unrelated men. I wonder how the situation would have been dealt with if it were a Catholic nun who was violated in this manner. No one, regardless of race, sex, gender or religion should be touched without their consent but this Target has made it very clear on many occasions that some people of certain races and backgrounds can be ignored and they are okay with that. A few days ago I was on the freeway on my way to Target I get tailgated then cut off by a young girl in a white SUV. I then proceeded to follow her into Target where she works apparently. Today I go into exchange some diapers for another size. No receipt. I can't because I'm flagged for returning too much without a receipt. This is thanks to another Target employee taking short cuts with an exchange I did. I was redoing my office storage and spent a few hundred dollars on baskets. Then I had to return without a receipt because of that short cut that employee did. Believe me they aren't doing you a favor when it's quick and not done correctly. Now I have to get my husband to go to Target to do this exchange after towing my toddler here and wasting my time. read more

I used to shop at Target all of the time, but haven't been there or anywhere else much ever since Amazon. I was surprised with the condition of the store. I was there around 11am and I cant imagine they got thrashed that bad that quickly. A lot the aisles were empty and not even organized. This wasn't just in one dept either. It was all over. I would expect it to look like that in the evening or weekend, but not early Monday. I work in retail also so those things catch my attention. I'll still shop at Target but not the standard that I was used to. Also I noticed a lot more floor displays that make it more cluttered. read more

I have not been shopping at this location frequently in the past but I am looking at the Target website first when I plan to purchase something for my house. It was a pleasant surprise when I found an inexpensive lamp for our grandson when he stayed with us during the last summer. Of course, we some other things that we didn't plan to get but the price and their service were very good and we really enjoyed the shopping. We are now going less to the big warehouse store where we have to buy in large quantities to get some deals. My wife enjoys to look around things at the Target store because it relaxes her. Great store, very clean, decent parking, and good food court. Love the fact they have an icee machine and Starbucks in the food court. Prices aren't even bad. Some items are more than Walmart but I'd rather come here than there to avoid circus like customers and ghetto atmosphere. No freaks acting like animals or 400 lb people running into people on scooters. Love when they have sales on 12 packs of soda and beer. If only they could keep coke and mountain dew as permanent icee flavors instead if switching them out every few months. I also like their little value section when you walk in the store with $1 and $3 items, and love the cart cupholders so I don't have to worry about my drink spilling out in the cart. Never had any bad customer service here. And a lot more quiet than Walmart too, which is why I'd gladly pay a little more here. read more

Depending on who is the cashier it's hit or miss.. some people really just don't know what they are doing or just don't care enough to do it quickly and efficiently. I called them today and the girl who was the operator was helpful for the most part. She just sounded bored or tired... but the one working guest services was horrible. I was on hold for 10 mins while he "looked" to see if my wallet was there. I had to call them again to talk to the operator so she could tell me what's going on. At least tell me the "lock up" where they keep stuff they find is going to take a while like the operator did the second time I called. read more

This place is always great to shop in, employees are always helpful. One of the things I appreciate about Target is that they offer free wifi. I myself like to compare prices when I make purchases and for some awful/terrible/crazy reason i get ZERO reception from T-Mobile in this store! This target is a decent size and seems pretty clean/cluster free. However, the employees are not welcoming/helpful, and it's rare to catch one if you need assistance. I came here when I was pregnant and needed help finding an item that was only available in stores (which said they had it in stock). I had to waddle around the entire store before I could find someone to assist me. Even after asking customer service and they said they'll send someone back there, 10 mins later, still nobody. This was before the pandemic. Now "drive up" is pretty much the same at any target so it doesn't matter. read more

Ya'll know me, I love me some Target! This particular Target however, is just a-ok. The lines are FOREVER long. Granted this is a busy location, but if you already see there are about 40 people waiting at a check stand, you think they'd open some more! It's almost impossible tot find anyone to help you, and when you do, they are usually less than happy to assist you. This location usually has what I'm looking for, so in that department I can't complain. There is also a Starbucks at this location, so I can get my Starbucks fix before shopping. They also have a lot of product, and their sales rack goes on for days! That's something I can rave about. Overall, I go to this Target because it's close to my work but I can't say it's my choice Target. I've experienced better. read more
