There were a few times we visited this location and would find a couple of items to utilize in our home. There is something for each area of your residence. The one shocker during this one particular visit, is that this location isn"GOING OUT OF BUSINESS ". I was a bit shocked to see this. The shelves were pretty empty as well in many departments. And the line was extremely long but I suppose that's expected under the circumstances. I'm not sure if it is just this location or all of their sites. You can probably still take a chance and find something of use until the last days. read more

To be honest, I only stopped into this shop to use the restroom. At Home is a retail shop in the Delta Shores shopping center that is right off Interstate 5 and visibly from the freeway. Having never been in an At Home, I was intrigued with inventory. Let's say, an intended quick restroom break turned into an impromptu shopping excursion. At Home sells home decor, seasonal decoration, Knick knacks, bedding, kitchen ware, and home accent furniture. The quality of the pieces varying from cheaply manufactured to mass crafted. I bought a shelf organizer, it was priced cheaper than Amazon and Costco. I also bought a Halloween item, it was marked down and 25% off. That exact same item was also cheaper than Amazon. The store has a warehouse feel. Pretty large space. If you need assistance, due to the size of the shop you may have to walk about to find an employee. I needed help twice, I was able to an employee each time but it may take awhile. The first time, I found assistance quickly. The next time, it took longer and just when I was about to give up, someone walked by. The checkout oddly only had one cashier on that Sunday I dropped in. The line was 3-4 customers. However the cashier was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and calm. read more

Wow much better than the stuff at that other place thats Goods..... the selection was endless for patio chairs and a great selection on colors. It was funny at the checkout because the girl that was ringing up my 5 chairs for $19.99 each told me three times I could get four for $99.00. At first I was thinking she was being fu but after the third time she was so serious about it. I smiled and just said I would rather spend $19.99 each. Besides that it's a great place. I wasn't certain what to think, I just knew that I wanted to check out At Home. At Home is a cross between Kirkland's, Michael's, and a Walmart superstore, but for home decor. They carry mass produced items in larger quantities. It's great if you are looking for ten of the same item, or just want your pick of the "one". You can wander around pretty unbothered by employee's, and in fairness, there are some interesting discoveries. I'm not a fan of painted metal art, but if you are, you're in luck. They do have some cute planters, and I purchased two that I'm adding small indoor plants to for the new office. Price points vary. Some items are really reasonably priced, while other price points are unrealistic for the item. They are located in Delta Shores, so you'll have plenty of free parking options, and there are tons of other places to shop and eat and while you're there. It's a different shopping experience from your average " store" shopping trip. It's not my thing, but you might find things you like. read more

I love this store but can only give it 4 stars because they block your signal so you can't communicate with those in other stores or the car. It is frustrating because sometimes you want to see if someone likes an item or you need help with a furniture item & want friends or family to come in. You must abandon your cart & go out & back in. Let me start out with the best part of all, that we have this location right here in the heart of Elk Grove! If you've ever checked the store location button to find other locations.... the nearest ones are -- Chico, San Jose, Clovis. NOT close at all! I can't say enough good things about this store. It reminds me of a blend of Art store meets Pier 1 meets IKEA. Where else can you buy a retro style kitchen waste bin, while browsing multiple aisles of art, an entire area of every colored style gardening pot you could desire...... and if it's summer.... you can find all your patio and sun tanning loungers here, as well. Some of my friends have exclaimed that it's expensive, but they also shop at stores like Marshall's and Home Goods. Compared to that, sure, it's expensive. Compared to the level of decor you'll find? We stopped in to see what this store was all about. I always love to visit home décor centers! I did have some items in mind with hopes to find them here. We specifically needed some type of shelving or small unit to store some of our electronic devices and charging port center, (but portable). It was kind of a design in our minds with no specific ideas as yet. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this huge warehouse had a lot more merchandise than I could have imagined! From artwork, vases, decorative pieces, knick knacks, lamps, pottery, furniture accents, to holiday decorations. It was a fun place to explore for home decorating ideas, but alas, we couldn't find anything that would work out for what we needed at that time. This is a very large and expansive home decor store. It has a "warehouse" feel to it. Not much of a shopping experience since it seems more like a discount/overstock store. If you are just trying to quickly furnish a your new home/apartment, then this would be a good choice since they have such a large variety of items. I only gave it 3 stars because i found the quality of the items rather low. The items don't seem like they would last very long but then again, the prices were pretty reasonable. So come here if you just want to quickly decorate your home but not if you are looking for quality long lasting items. read more

Finally took the time to drive to Sacramento to checkout this store called At Home. Have been needing some new outdoor patio chair cushions ...what a selection of all sizes of indoor or outdoor cushions! The store is huge very neat and organized. They have everything a person needs to setup housekeeping. I thought their prices were comparable to other home goods stores. Will see how my newly purchased outdoor chair cushions hold up in our hot summer weather. It's a great area for shopping At Home. First time we every came here. It is very big thus the supers store. The prices are very high for the quality stuff they have here. I thought a lot of it was the same as Hobby Lobby, which seems cheaper than at this place. I really don't think we would shop here .They do have a lot of stuff but when you start sitting in and trying out the items you can tell the quality is not worth the prices they are asking for. I just was not impressed at all. A side note I was trying to check in to the location and I could never get onto the internet. The building blocks your signal. Best Store!!! Great selection on products. Good quality for the price. Awesome employees. My son and I were regulars as it was/is our favorite store. The employees new how much my son was obsessed with Christmas. The last 2 years they would give him a heads up when they would be putting out their Christmas decor. We are super sad that they had to close shop. As it was our go to when we just wanted to decompress from the day. I have frequented this store quite a bit in the past two years, so have become pretty familiar with it. I'm giving 5 stars for the following reasons: I've consistently experienced friendly staff and good service. I'm typically greeted when I enter and check out clerks have always been friendly with me. As for service, they have a generous time frame for returns with no hassles. This has come in handy for me when I purchased more of an item than it turned out I needed. I've also experienced their willingness to work with customers. One time, my husband and I found a mirror we really liked. It was the last one, but it had some minor damage. My husband asked if they had any others in stock. They did not, but they offered us 25% off the one they had. Considering the damage was quite minor and we knew we could easily fix it, we accepted. The selection is good, both in category of products and in variety within each category. I've purchased so many types of products including wall art, clocks, mirrors, planters, faux plants, rugs, chairs, patio furniture, lighting fixtures/lamps and much more. I have found the prices to be competitive to the point where I will make the drive to At Home because I don't find the same product at a lower price elsewhere. For example, I purchased an accent chair with ottoman for my living room. I checked several online retailers who sold the very same product (it's a white label set) and At Home was considerably less expensive. One retailer was charging almost twice what At Home charged. Most were selling for 100-150 more. A recent patio furniture purchase was the same experience - the best price for the products I bought were at At Home. If I want a nice planter, I can typically find the best price here, as well. At Home used to be close to our home. We moved 7 months ago, and it's about 20 miles further now, so visits are less frequent than they used to be. Even so, I still make the drive from time to time because I have always found good value and service there. read more

When I walked in here, it reminded me of a cross between Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and HomeGoods. They have a very large selection of home decor...almost seems limitless! The store is very well-organized. They seem to have some sales around, especially for the summer items at this time (about 40-50% off). They also have a lot of items marked with red clearance stickers sprinkled throughout the store, but also clearance sections in different areas of the store. Their prices seem reasonable, and some of the items appeared to be cheaper than Michaels. I didn't have any interaction with the staff, but there didn't seem to be very many of them walking around...they seemed nice though from what I was hearing. We happened upon this store because we saw the sign from the freeway and were intrigued! Boy, were we surprised. First of all the place is HUGE - like GINORMOUS! It's a home decor and party store kind of all rolled into one. They have tons of seasonal decorating items!! Also, the frames and artwork department is the largest I've ever seen. I will definitely be going back for artwork. There is a furniture (indoor and outdoor) department also. Great candle area. I think this would be a good place to go if you're doing a DIY wedding or party - so many decorations. I can only imagine it at Christmas! Easy parking in the huge lot. It's nothing special. It's like Hobby Lobby except for home and decor. It's mass manufactured items but there are stuff that's cool. They had clearance on Christmas items and I noticed the discount never go beyond 50%. Nothing special or unique in the store or about the store. Also, I barely saw any workers on the floor. I actually was not sure who were the workers. No uniform, vest, or landyard to identify. Is this corporation trying to save money or were they all hiding in the back? I heard so much about this place. I picked a weekday to visit, knowing that weekends would be super busy. I'm so glad I did! I felt like I was the only person shopping there! No bumping into people, I felt like I had the whole store to myself! I shopped at my own pace without having the need to fight someone for an item. I loved it! This place was amazing! At first, I was overwhelmed with the massive selections they had of home decor! I didn't know where to begin! You can literally find what you're looking for and more! The prices were decent, similar to TJMAXX and HomeGoods. I loved how organized the store was! Everything had its place! You can easily find things. I LOVE this store! I'm from the Bay Area and my fiancée and I will drive to Sac just to come here. The prices are reasonable, the staff if very friendly, and the check out line does move pretty quick. I've only been here on the weekend which is usually a pretty busy time to go to a store like this. Amazingly, it's always had fully stocked shelves, plenty of customer service reps on the floor to assist customers, and I've always see at least 3 cashiers at the register. The only drawback is that there is not a store like this in the East Bay. With that said, we will still make the drive to get great quality products at a fair price and in a positive atmosphere. We are hoping that At Home will expand closer to our area in the future. read more

We have been wanting to check out At Home since it opened at Delta Shores. We finally got around to it and it was a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect too much but it did have the basic decor that you expect a home decor store to have - they even have decor from off-season holidays like 4th of July or Christmas. They have a pretty wide selection of rugs and bedding. I realized that the pillows were decently priced compared to Walmart. Everything else is, in my opinion, a little sparse. They have some aisles with very random things on it - I found a four-drawer dresser (with the cube drawers) right next to an off-brand Drain-O product - very random. They have some food products and toys near the registers - last minute chance to sell you! Most of the stuff you can find cheaper at a grocery store or Target. It was clean and organized, that was very nice. But, it was very difficult to find someone who worked there. And when we did find someone, he was already helping two other people, so we were third 'in line' to be helped. Hopefully they schedule/hire more people for the same shift. Alas, he was very friendly and helpful. I do appreciate the coupons and insider perks that they offer like the 10% off Welcome Coupon. I recommend At Home if you're just moving in or if you rent your place out to a VRBO or AirBNB situation. If you're looking for decor for your settled-in home, you can probably find more variety at Target or Walmart - or even Wayfair/Amazon online! We came late in the evening, so we just grabbed a few things so that we can get back home. We came for a rug. They had so many different options. They had so many different colors, patterns, and textures. We went to the dish section to look for some mugs, they had a variety, but I feel like they could've had a better variety. A lot of the mugs had designs, but not a variety of styles. I was able to settle on some, but wished there were a couple more to pick from. As we walked down the other isles to pass through, we saw tons and tons of vases, and lamps, art and outdoor supplies and furniture. I can't wait to go back and spend hours here! read more

Today, my mom and I went into the store to do some Christmas shopping. After finding a great deal on this Christmas wreath, we headed up front store to check out. There was a large line, 12 people waiting, which I get. It's the time of the year, Covid-19 shortage, and etc. What was weird was that there was only one cashier working and the employee didn't ask for backup cashiers. After waiting 5 minutes in line with progress of getting closer to checkout and the cashier not asking for help, my mom informed another employee stocking shelves that her coworker probably needs help. Ten minutes later after that goes by with no assistance even though my mom did find 3 other at home employees stocking shelves. I'm okay with waiting for something. What I'm not okay with is poor retail operations. Most retailers have a policy of more than 3 in a line, you call for backup. In this instance, there wasn't an employee shortage because we saw other staff working just not being aware of what is more important. read more

Today at 1040 am pst I placed and order. Not having received the email that my order was ready for pickup even though the website states that orders will be ready within 2 hours. I drove 25 miles to the Sacramento store, browsed in the store, made a small purchase, and then waited in the parking lot for almost 45 minutes. Hoping my order would be ready. I finally decided to call into the store which took several attempts as every time I selected option 5 in the phone tree I was immediately disconnected. Purchased a potted Christmas tree and a few small items today. There was 1 cashier at the 1st register closest to the door. Tall guy not sure if his name but he had zero customer service skills. When it was my turn at the register he told me that another cashier was on his way up. I was surely happy about that because this guy's attitude was a complete turn off. I contemplated putting my items back. However, Michael showed up and assisted me. He was very pleasant & patient as my mobile coupon wouldn't scan. And the tree that I purchased rang up incorrectly.
