Love this place! I usually only go to get a gift or to revamp holiday decorations. This past weekend they have lots of Christmas decorations on display. This was my first time in a Kirkland's. I am amazed at the variety of home goods in stock. I LOVE this store! I thought the items were reasonably priced and they were having a great sale in most of the store. Veronica greeted me as soon as I walked in and was very helpful. It's a nice store. They have home furniture and so many pillows! The have a few different sofas around the shop. The back of the store has a kitchen display. Some of the paintings have a three-dimensional texture to them. They had a selection for Easter themed items, such as bunnies on pillows. They have a lot of cute items for a home. read more

I don't usually come to Kirkland's but I feel like I should especially now that I have a home to fill with so much decor! For the few times I have been in, their staff is always sure to greet me asking if I need any help or even a basket while I browse. The store is always festive according to the season or holiday so there isn't really anything you can't find to help spruce up your home. Typically the front of the store has items all laid out for the current season, middle section and right side of the store has super cute kitchen and living room decor, then towards the back you'll have larger items, such as mirrors, artwork/paintings, benches, and lamps. Kirkland's also has miscellaneous items like the little canvas wood blocks with cute quotes or adorable teachers gifts suitable for any type of occasion. This is my sister's favorite store and I think it may be another one of mine! They usually have some type of sale, whether it be select items or the entire store. Plus, there is a reward's program for you to rack up your points using them towards a future purchase at a discounted price. Definitely worth checking out! read more

I LOVE this store...period. When you walk in the first thing you're struck by is how good it smells! Then as you do a walk through you start to see all the cute home decor they carry. I especially love it during the holidays when they have fall and Christmas stuff out but all throughout the year they have really cute everyday pieces. I also like that it's not a huge store so you're not overwhelmed. Although, they do manage to pack a lot of stuff in their space. The customer service is excellent, everything is displayed attractively, it's always well stocked and never a mess. Think Pier 1 but less expensive. Also, still in business, lol. I usually look on-line first and place an order to pick up in the store instead of having it delivered just because I really like to go in and check out the goods in person. When it comes to stores that feature home décor, I'm all for checking out new and unique ideas for the home and yard. This newly opened store had a little bit of everything that included lamps, clocks, furniture, nick knacks, mirrors, rugs, curtains, linens and seasonal decorations. A variety of items can be found here for every room in your house. My home is pretty well furnished as it is, but there are times when a change in environment adds spice and interest to ones life. I sometimes get tired of the same old décor day after day. Changing or adding new furnishings to a home reflects taste and distinction, in which this store seems to fulfill. I found a lighted cherry blossom tree that caught my eye right away, but didn't impulse buy at the time because I wanted to return home and ponder as to where to place it. I'm still not sure where to display it yet, but I just can't stop thinking about how pretty it is. Guess I'll be going back soon to make that purchase or regret it when they have sold out! i love shopping at this store but today was not a good one. I was here to pick up my online order, and this one sale associate named Amanda was so RUDE! So I am never shopping at Kirklands again. I wanted to buy a metal bench that was discounted to $104 with a green tag (outside store with other discounted items) It was $199. Employee brought it inside and saw the price. I shopped and went to purchase it. Magically the green tag was gone off the bench. The refused to sell it to me for the price I saw it for. Even the employee saw the price. But she wasnt saying anything. The manager was so rude and something fishy was going on. What I think what happened was. An employee misprinted it. Manager saw I had it on hold for me in the store. Manager pulled the tag and threw it away. Told the employees that was wrong and not to sell it to me at that price. Ethically I feel that is so wrong. I have never been treated this way in a store and stores always accept the Posted price. I have a call into their corporate office. read more

Beautiful seasonal decor. My initial reaction of this store was... wow! This place has a lot of holiday decor and it's all beautiful. I noticed that there was 2 price tags on many of their items and it looks like there was a sale going on. Everything looks like it's made of great quality for great prices. Kirkland's is filled with a bunch of goodies for your home. I came here to shop for art work for my house. They have a really good selection of art work but also really nice decorative items for your house at a discounted price. The store associates are friendly and helped with managing my items behind the counter while I continued to shop. Whenever I mention this place to people, they affiliate it with Costco food brand Kirkland's I have to explain how it is not affiliated (that I am aware of) and is a home decor store. I mention that it reminds me of a Pier 1 imports but at bargain prices. I went during a green tag sale and ended up getting some art, one with a green tag, the other without...but even at regular price it was very affordable and both decent quality. Staff do not hover, which I personally enjoy, and it is very clean and nicely laid out w/good ambience. Be sure to join the free reward's program to get discount coupons. :) read more

I really enjoy Kirklands! Every holiday they have some really cute decor that's at a fairly reasonable price. This Christmas, I got a super cute mantel piece for above my fireplace and a Snowman holiday clock. I was disappointed when I got home though because the clock was missing a nut, so the nose won't stay in position until I find one that fits. The employees here have always been very helpful and knowledgeable, and the parking lot is accessible as it's far enough away from Target to not have to deal with that side of craziness. Definitely worth a stop every season to see what they have to offer! read more

I recently came here to purchase a mirror for my foyer. There was a sale and I got the mirror for cheap $40, that's 50% off. Retail price $80 for a mirror about 30x40 inches, but everything in the store is reasonably price. If you can catch a sell or live by here, come and check out their clearance section often. They have other cool deco for the house. Painting, other art deco, mirrors, tables, lamps, rugs, candles, pillows, chairs and more. The items they sell look sturdy and the quality look good. Right now, they have a lot of holiday deco or seasonal items. I would definitely be coming back when I need items to decorate my house. read more

Best home decor store in Elk Grove & great prices! I only wish my home was bigger so I can buy more ... The staff are always very helpful & go out of there way to be sure you are satisfied. I have been here 10+ times now. The only downfall is the scent packets they sell ... They are VERY strong smelling so if you have severe asthma I would recommend letting whatever you purchase air out outside of the house before bringing it in your home. Visited this store for the first time today and was hugely disappointed in the horrible way I was treated. My baby was crying and as I was kneeling down trying to console her I was approached by the manager Aleesa who asked me to leave the store because I was apparently disrupting the 2 other customers who were shopping. I had a lot of items I was planning on buying, however after being completely offended and embarrassed and not wanting to waste one single dollar in a place that employs horrible people, I left. They will never get ANY of my money! To Aleesa, in the future, a little compassion goes a long way in this world! FYI, I would give zero stars if I could!! read more
