No one arrived, and we received no call, text, or explanation. We then went to the store in person on Friday, June 12 to speak with the manager. She confirmed she had no ability to resolve the issue beyond offering apologies. At this point, the situation is unacceptable. We have paid for a product and a service plan that are not being honored, and we are now left with damaged furniture and no completed service visit. This needs to be escalated immediately to someone with authority to resolve it. We are requesting one of the following within a specific timeframe: * replacement of the defective parts or furniture, or * another concrete resolution under the protection plan. The delivery guys are courtesy, fast and, efficient. I just purchased a dining set and the manufacturer made a mistake, (no fault of Ashlyn Furniture) I called Peter and he immediately took care of it, had the delivery guys come the same day pick up the dining set. Disappointing Refund and Customer Service Experience…read more Our salesperson, Lee, was helpful and knowledgeable when introducing the products, and we were happy with the purchasing and payment process. We purchased several sets of furniture from the store. However, we canceled a sofa and coffee table the day after purchase, one week before delivery. Salesperson Lee wrote a $4,055 refund amount on our new invoice and told us we could contact them to receive the refund after getting our physical credit card, since we originally paid through Apple Pay. After receiving the card, customer service was extremely rude. They refused to issue the refund, offered only store credit, and told us to contact our credit card company and dispute the transaction ourselves. We also received a damaged headboard and had to wait a week for a replacement. Given how the store handled our refund, we have lost confidence in its customer service and find it difficult to trust that future warranty issues would be handled properly. Very disappointing experience. Think carefully before making a purchase.
