It's next door to TJ Maxx, which was both convenient and deadly. Normally, when you enter any Five Below store, someone yells out, "Welcome to Five Below!" It was non-existent at this store. At least staff were consistent. I didn't hear it yelled out at any customer. What I didn't like was the security guard. He looked at everyone suspiciously. I get the purpose of his job. Then again, lighten up! You aren't there to scare customers from entering the store because you have a weird, menacing stare. I like this store mainly because you can get cheap items. It also has Squishmallows plushies at $6 each, so I always check out the variety. This store had cool Halloween items, from The Nightmare Before Christmas press-on nails, to PEZ dispensers. I always check out the travel products section. You can get everything from Q-tips to dental floss. The quality is decent for the price that you pay. The Squishmallows were at the back in a bin. I oddly didn't get any. What I did pick up was a cute dumpling LED light. I also got a small box of Sonic sugar-free cherry limeade drink mix. I recently drove by a Sonic eatery in Bloomington. I had no clue that the franchise was finally in the Twin Cities. I had the nicest woman at the checkout. It was nice chatting with her. She placed my items in a small bag and was so cheerful. I paid with a credit card. All was great. I did a quick survey consisting of a single question on the payment machine. This includes hair styling tools of all sorts, sheet masks, makeup, and great bath products. There are also tons of things for the home, from rugs to furniture to sheets and towels to home storage and organization. (Note to self: if I ever need to stage a home, I should go here.) My favourite TJ Maxx store is in St. Louis Park. I now have this one to add to my list. First, this store had four Kipling bags. It's a win these days if you can find one. The handbag and luggage section is amazing. I ended up with Mickey and Minnie luggage tags. You can never have enough tags when you travel often. I've been into frothers lately. They are great at home and on the road when you are mixing powdered drinks. I found one that charges with a USB cable. It also has both frother and whisk attachments, which are cool. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen accessories section. You can get everything from a mini hand chopper to an assortment of reusable straws. I got a mini ice cubes tray. Making mini ice cubes seemed like fun. It is! If you love Hello Kitty merchandise, this store is for you. It had Hello Kitty-branded hairbrushes, makeup mirrors, cosmetic bags, luggage tags, and more. I like looking at lip balms and glosses. This store had so many. Oreo. Jello. Hershey's. Fruity Pebbles. Only down side is they open earlier and therefore close earlier than other TJ Maxx stores. I'm guessing it's due to the theft/crime the area has been experiencing. Very sad. Regardless, I hope this store stays open and doesn't close like many others have in the area. It's really a well-managed store!

I made an appointment and shopped around inside COSTCO while I waited. I like that they have the nitrogen air for tires right outside of their tire center that is available during open hours. I've gotten tires at COSTCO for all of my vehicles. Even if you have very nice vehicles, they do take great care of your vehicles and they know a lot about cars at Costco these guys at the tire center they love love cars. So you'll be rest assured that your vehicle will be in great hands. I would order the tires online to make sure that I'm getting the right size for my vehicle. You would type in your license plate and the state and your vehicle pops up in type of registry that they have access to, and then all of the tires will appear that are the correct size for your vehicle. They have all weather all season tires, summer tires, winter tires, whatever your vehicle make is, they may only carry one type of all seasons or three types of summer tires the selection is very slim however, you're guaranteed to have the best type of tire for your vehicle anyway. You'll get an email or a text that your vehicle tires are ready for installation and it appears that their scheduling system online is about a week out even though they would like you to come in within seven days to get your tires installed they will either email you or give you a call that you could schedule earlier so that it's within the seven days. I saved close to $400 on my MBenz tires & $300 on my BMW tires, vs the car dealerships. These are big savings.

I went in to get a tire plugged (after having a screw in it) and they told me the screw was too close to the outside and they couldn't plug it. I knew that to be false because I physically saw the screw in my thread and removed it. When I pushed back on this they changed their story to say it wasn't about plugging the tire it was the fact that the inside of the tire was worn and wrinkly and they couldn't work on it for fear of it blowing up. So I asked why it wasn't covered under warranty and they said because my tires were over 5 years old. My warranty paperwork doesn't say the warranty is either or, it only says 60,000 miles. They tried to tell me it was two different warranties which doesn't make sense at all and it doesn't say that anywhere on the documents. Needless to say their "recommendation" was to sell me 2 tires or 4 tires. I wonder why. I waited for about an hour for them to speak with managers about discounts only for them to offer $25 per tire. However, plenty of other people (white people) came in for tires and got $150-$200 off. We asked how come we weren't offered the same discounts and manager Melissa said this was the best she could do. Again, I wonder why. All they did was lie and change their stories repeatedly to make their narrative work. No one was willing to wiggle, they were condescending and clearly didn't know what they were talking about. Next time, don't write "60,000 mile warranty" on documents if you don't plan on honoring it. If I could rate zero stars I would. Never had this issue at the Maple Grove location. I will never come back.

That said, I was surprised that none of the staff acknowledged or offered help, especially as I passed by them a few times. A simple "hello" or "let me know if you need anything" would've gone a long way. I also noticed some shelves were empty. Not sure if that's due to restocking, rearranging, or shipment delays. As for pricing, a lot of the items felt a bit out of my budget. I'd probably look elsewhere first to see if I could find similar things for less, just to save a few bucks. Women's lingerie under garments: HUGE drop in quality . Bras have inferior non stretching elastic, most of inventory has manufacturing defects ( must try on), very poor materials. Rate one star. Women's sleep wear: hunt VERY carefully, this was a top dept. rate 3-4 star. Read labels, examine quality of fabrics carefully. Bedding towels: this WAS a 5 star area, now 2-3. VERY high prices, very poor boring selection of prints styles colors. HUGE disappointment. Decorative/ kitchen/ housewares: one of the only areas which is still good. Marshalls is trying to increase their profits by stocking with pretty packaged decorated designed colored " pretend" products made very poorly in China. READ labels VERY carefully. Take more time to hunt CAREFULLY. There are still some good buys, just not as many.
