Dressing rooms are closed because of Covid, don't waste your time here, it's mostly clothes.

3.5/5 Nothing to…read morecomplain about here, it's a mall! This one is trying to stay relevant and isn't completely empty like some others in the metro. Some shops are empty and others are being remodeled and opening again. I visited on a Friday (Valentine's Day) and it was pretty steady but not packed, I could find a place to sit down and relax by myself if I wanted to (and I did!) Shop selection is meh, I went into a few but didn't find anything to purchase which is just fine by me - I needed a place to hang out that was warm and this was it! Bubble tea, Caribou and smoothies to choose from - I didn't see a food court but I wasn't particularly looking.

Ridgedale is a pretty chill mall. I usually end up here for happy hour at Kona then we walk around…read moreto walk the food & drinks off after. There's only a handful of store I really shop at here but I'm sure overall there's something for everyone. I feel like Ridgedale has been one of the consistent malls (as far as growing up in MN and seeing a lot of malls struggle to keep stores) that never felt like it was closing. I do wish they would decorate more especially for the holidays. They have the Santa pop up in the middle of the mall which is cute but that's its own experience. Also a somewhat better food court would be cool, but there are a ton of options for food outside of the mall/in the area. They do host cool events from time to time like the traveling Hello Kitty Cafe, which is cool.

This location is a bit different from what I remember, but they have lots of familiar things: there's an extensive selection of items for your household, including some scores for bakers and coffee lovers. Hello, silicone molds and cute baking cups! There are tons of options for silverware and dish ware, plus really cute glassware and mugs. Athletes will find yoga mats, resistance bands, and small items for your home workout. Into health and beauty? They've got you covered with applicators, sheet masks, and body scrubbers (if you've been to Korea, you know what I mean). I was delighted to discover that they have a respectable selection of stationery, including cute notebooks, fun puzzle erasers, and even a few fun sticky notes. This is a great place to come if you need to stock your dorm room, grab some art supplies, or fill a gift basket for the niblings at a reasonable price. Well-organized Grand Opening weekend, too, thanks to the great staff. Thanks, Daiso!

She created this market to help artists and artisans, and to collect toy donations (as well as household goods and non-perishable food items for humans and pets) for STEP (the St. Louis Park Emergency Program). It's the annual event's first year in this space, and according to the website, the Market will be going on AT LEAST through December 27, 2023, Tuesday-Sunday from 11:00am-5pm. We parked in the ramp across the street and had no trouble finding this space. It was well lit and clearly identified. The space inside is also well lit, and there's plenty of room to move around in. There's a central counter where you bring the items you wish to purchase to pay for them. For the event that day, a donation to STEP earned you a ticket for a free slice of Muddy Paws Cheesecake. They had on offer about a dozen different flavors that evening, "New York" being one, and it's my absolute favorite, both in texture and flavor. My companion chose a slice of the Salted Caramel, which is equally delicious, but in a different way. For environmental reasons, I was so pleased to see the slices being served in paper board boxes, instead of the previous clear hard-plastic clam shells. There's a large section displaying the clothing pieces designed by St. Paulite, Laura Hlavac. Also available are jewelry made by various artisans, artisan pieces made from things such as snow skis, hockey sticks, hockey pucks, metal piping, golf balls, leather scraps and antique flour sacks, quirky greeting cards, handmade holiday ornaments, soaps, candles, lotions & potions, unique clothing pieces, and hats. In addition, you'll find a large selection of locally-designed puzzles. So many different things to see! And if you find yourself becoming a bit "hangry", buy yourself a slice of Muddy Paws Cheesecake and a bottle of water (or a cup of coffee if they're offering it) and set yourself down for a little while on one of the kids' chairs and relax, and enjoy your slice of delight. Or buy a slice (or an entire cheesecake) on your way out to enjoy later on at home!

I was so excited to see this going in close to my house so I don't have to go to Maple Grove for my on budget buys! This store is large with a large selection! Lots of everything. Grad stuff, garden & picnic & grilling stuff. Upcoming holiday stuff. Food, housewares, cleaning supplies, everything. We were there on a weekday afternoon and they were rather busy with only one cashier. Thankfully we were all very patient and got through pretty quickly. Have I mentioned how excited I am about this location?! Love it. I'll be a regular.

Even the people here are very classy. I bought her company for one dollar which I struggle to find at target where it was six dollars and they had only like one kind. I couldn't believe how many hair comes you can find a dollar store. It looked like hair salon or specialty haircutting items. The young man at the front desk was very friendly with the most customers. I noticed they have a frozen area for food which I didn't know it existed before. I did not check the prices: I will leave it for a second trip. I'm wondering if I like this dollar tree because I'm snobbish and this area is solid middle-class. Well better for all of us snobbish people.
