I had a very disappointing experience at this Walmart. The customer service was terrible. Many of…read morethe employees appeared to be wearing AirPods, and when I asked for assistance, they had to remove them just to hear what I was saying. Even after repeating myself multiple times, I was either brushed off or directed to the wrong area. I was looking for insulated bags and, being from out of state, I wasn't familiar with the store's layout. The first employee I asked went to speak with another worker, but instead of helping me, both employees walked away. The second employee pointed me to a completely different section, and the third directed me to the camping department. After spending nearly an hour searching the store, I gave up and left without finding what I needed. It was frustrating and a complete waste of time. Management needs to do a better job training and supervising employees to ensure customers receive proper assistance. I will not be returning to this Walmart and would not recommend it to anyone expecting decent customer service. I'd give it zero star if I could.

My favourite TJ Maxx store is in St. Louis Park. I now have this one to add to my list. First, this store had four Kipling bags. It's a win these days if you can find one. The handbag and luggage section is amazing. I ended up with Mickey and Minnie luggage tags. You can never have enough tags when you travel often. I've been into frothers lately. They are great at home and on the road when you are mixing powdered drinks. I found one that charges with a USB cable. It also has both frother and whisk attachments, which are cool. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen accessories section. You can get everything from a mini hand chopper to an assortment of reusable straws. I got a mini ice cubes tray. Making mini ice cubes seemed like fun. It is! If you love Hello Kitty merchandise, this store is for you. It had Hello Kitty-branded hairbrushes, makeup mirrors, cosmetic bags, luggage tags, and more. I like looking at lip balms and glosses. This store had so many. Oreo. Jello. Hershey's. Fruity Pebbles. EOS. Burt's Bees. The assortment was incredible. I briefly looked at the clothing sections. If you are looking for affordable clothing to support your favourite Minnesota sports team, shop here. I saw hoodies, t-shirts, and more. The phone accessories section makes me happy. It's typically by the checkout area at any TJ Maxx. This store didn't disappoint. There wasn't a huge lineup to pay for my items. The woman that I got at the checkout was competent and nice. I paid with a credit card. I tapped my card and all was great. Although it's not in the best area, they always have a huge and varied…read moreselection (more than most other stores), the store is always clean/organized, and employees are always friendly and helpful. Only down side is they open earlier and therefore close earlier than other TJ Maxx stores. I'm guessing it's due to the theft/crime the area has been experiencing. Very sad. Regardless, I hope this store stays open and doesn't close like many others have in the area. It's really a well-managed store!

Visiting Nordstrom's Racks sometimes feel like a treasure hunt. You never know if you're going to…read morefind that designer bag or shoes for 80% off or if all you're going to find is the Nordstrom rack brand items. That's what makes it fun! The Rack in Maple Grove is decent sized and well laid out. They tend to have a bit of a smaller selection of the higher end designers that you can find at the Mall of America Nordstrom rack but still a decent variety. They carry women's, men's, children's, shoes, accessories and home goods. Parking is plentiful but the traffic flow is a little tricky directing you right into the first row. That row gets 100% of incoming traffic so I'd recommend parking one or two over. Customer service here is always good. While you are kind of on your own to hunt the racks (if you want a personalized shopping experience head to the actual Nordstrom's) the employees always seem to be in a good mood and helpful when checking out. Dressing rooms are always clean and they have plenty of spaces to try on items. It helps when people return unwanted items to the return racks so do your part and don't leave them in the room. Overall I think visiting this location is fun and I rarely leave empty handed!

I got home and I didn't check my things right away. The next day when I checked I only had three pair of shoes with 3 boxes. I called. And spoke to someone that claimed to be a manager they said they would investigate the situation. They claimed to have check cameras, and they claimed that the shoes were in the bag, but the shoes never made it home with me. I'm a professional medical provider I have two twin boys, a husband there is no other female in the house and I know what I saw and how this person was acting at the register. Just make sure you check your items before leaving this store! Especially when you have someone that's bagging your stuff on the ground versus on the countertop!
