They have a wide variety of Hello Kitty products to select from.

This TJ Maxx is a personal favorite between my wife and I. We enjoy coming here whenever we need household items and gifts for our children and grandchildren. They have been the most tidy location we've been to, by far. My grand daughters love Hello Kitty, so we always stop by to find the perfect gifts for them at a great value. From our experience, it seems to be that this location has the largest selection of Hello Kitty products you could choose from. This store has its peak times especially during the holiday season. It seems like a lot of people come here to get some holiday shopping done, so the lines could get long, but it also passes by pretty quickly sometimes. My wife and I have never had any issues with the customer service here. We've been in and out of here within a reasonable amount of time. Thank you.

I have been looking back on what I used to do as a transplanted Canadian in Minnesota for the two years that I had spent in this fine state. I never visited a TJ Maxx. How could that be? I can only answer by saying that I loved ShopKo and it suited my needs. Now that ShopKo is gone, TJ Maxx is on my radar. Frankly, I have a natural inclination to visit at least one TJ Maxx store. I did a search and drove over to this store. This store is in a huge plaza. Kohl's is directly opposite from TJ Maxx. It's almost like this plaza was built for me! I parked smack in the middle of both and walked in. The handbag section greeted me. I saw a clear backpack. It would have been too big to bring to a Minnesota Wild game, even though it is clear. It has a nice selection of Kipling bags. I also saw a Dooney & Bourke Minnesota Wild handbag. It is cool for any Vikings fan. I visited this store in mid-October. Christmas merchandise was out. It seemed aimed at your dog. I expect to see Christmas stuff year-round if this trend continues. So, for dogs who look forward to Christmas goodies, their owners need to shop here. I came here to browse. I liked everything that I saw, from sweaters to phone accessories. I'd come back here again. (416)

This Macy's is huge!…read more I don't typically shop at Macy's much (or any bigger retail store like this really) but we happen to find parking near this wing of MOA. I could see Macy's being a one stop shop, they sell a bit of everything; furniture, home goods, clothes, toys, snacks, cosmetics, jewelry, etc. They almost always have some sort of sales going on & you can find some good deals here or there. We stopped at the pandora counter (yes, inside of the Macy's). We were able to peacefully look around without anyone greeting us or pushing us to buy. However we then made the mistake of walking through the perfume department. They were a very pushy about selling, EVERY perfume was their last bottle. Macy's is known for being a fragrance HQ. They have many scents you can't find in store anywhere else. So it's nice to be able to go in a smell something before you drop money on it. They also do refills on certain perfumes which is nice to save money & reuse your bottle. I love perfume but I can only take so many different smells before it starts to give me a headache. Every counter wanted use to smell 3-4 different perfumes which was a bit much. Like I said before they offer so much here. Worth a browse AND they have Tii Cup on the 3rd floor of the store!!

Mall of America® - I'm looking at this coming from IKEA, realize it's the Upper Midwest, and see an MOA venue named "Flyover." Anyone else find this humorous?

It was such an incredible experience it really makes you feel like you're flying, and the visuals are so realistic. Definitely a must-do if you visit! I also loved all the food options. There are so many places to choose from, and everything I had was delicious. It's nice being able to take a break from walking around and enjoy a good meal without even leaving the mall.Another favorite was the axe throwing it was SO fun and something different from the usual mall activities. It added a really exciting, adventurous vibe to the day and made the whole experience even more memorable. The atmosphere throughout the mall is lively, clean, and full of energy. There's something for everyone shopping, entertainment, food, and unique attractions all in one place. It's perfect for a fun day out with friends or family.I would 100% recommend visiting, and I can't wait to go back and try even more things next time!

The cool thing about this is that you can catch the train right into the place just about. I had a 9:30 flight that was arriving in to Minneapolis and of course I couldn't check into my hotel. I bought an all day train pass and made my way. The coolest thing is that there are lockers of various sizes so you can store your luggage (for a nominal fee) and wander around this massive mall, got to about 1/3rd of it. I was taken back to the the 90's with the old school music playing and some of the stores that I thought didn't exist anymore. There were at least two of the same store but just on different levels or sides of the part of the mall I was in. The amusement park in the mall with the rollercoaster and kiddie rides and roaming characters was awesome. I went back the aquarium, which I would have gone into but it was filled with kids, and honestly it was too early :) Had a great meal at the crepe restaurant. If I was a senior retired, its a great nifty 50s walking spot or just getting out people watch. I would definitely try to go back to see the other parts and to stay the hell out of the cold weather this California gal is not used too.

For sure feel like it's catered to the older crowd. We parked at Von Maur to cut through to the mall. A few things did catch my eye while passing so we ended up looking around a bit. I did find an item to purchase and walked a bit to find a pay station. When I walked up a customer and the cashier were deep into conversation about vacation and even with me waiting they carried on for 5 or so minutes after the fact. I ended up sitting in the chairs nearby to wait. I can say when they finally wrapped their conversation the cashier wasn't as friendly which made me think maybe I shouldn't purchase from them. There was no "thank you for your patience or waiting", "did you find everything okay" or anything. Overall the store is pretty neat and organized. Not a ton of staff around but also never seen a lot of people shopping either. Items seem to be good quality.

I wanted to grab some lunch at the food court and bring it back to my hotel room. I parked by Von Maur and cut through the store to get to the food court. When I lived in Minnesota, huge department stores were popular. Macy's. Dayton's. Sears. Nordstrom. Neiman Marcus. Dayton's was Minnesota-based. It died, similar to Sears. It was my first time stepping foot in a Von Maur store. It felt like walking into an old Eaton's or Simpsons store when I was a kid. There was a lot to see. It felt comfortable. There was excitement. The first store that the von Maur family opened was in the late 1800's in Davenport, IA. It has since expanded to fifteen states. Its headquarters are still in Davenport. I had no idea. I have actually been to Davenport! This store had a wide variety of brand-name merchandise. I saw popular brands, such as Tommy HIlfiger and Anne Klein. There were many brands that I had never heard of, such as Lyssé, AGB, and Ruby Rd for women's clothing. I am such an outlet, discount shopper. It was nice checking out a classy department store, to change things up. I felt comfortable. Staff were super friendly and non-judgmental. They smiled and said hi. The best part was hearing a pianist in the lobby play songs at noon. It was so cheerful and refreshing as I browsed and moved. I loved it. There were escalators and elevators to get to to various floors of this large department store. It was clean and inviting. I will need to return when I'm not looking for lunch to shop here. I loved what I saw and I look forward to returning. (415)
