This is hands down my favorite Costco. It's always fully stocked with a great selection, well-run, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. If you know what to look for, they have amazing deals on wine/liquor, easily some of the best value around. Over the last year, they really upped their game in the bakery department, and especially great for hosting or having extra treats on hand. One heads-up about the parking lot: if you're getting gas, don't try to cross at the main stop sign. There's a much easier way to loop left and come around the back, which saves a lot of time and frustration. Once you know it, it's a game changer. I also love getting gas here because the savings really add up. Pro tip: use the Costco app. It makes things quicker and helps you keep track of deals. They also regularly have great gift card deals like (Uber, Top Golf, local restaurants), usually $15-25 off, which is an easy win. Plus their pharmacy is always way cheaper than I've found elsewhere. If you like buying bulk and finding deals then this is the place. I prefer this over other big box stores. I like the variety and their club brand better. I love finding deals on the things I want to buy and the prices are competitive. I appreciate that the staff keep the check outs moving and indicate where to go at self checkout. It is always busy so be patient in the aisles and parking lots. Gas is cheaper here than most other stations as well. read more

I'm not going to write a reveiw about the store itself because the entire place stresses me out. I WILL review the customer service. First of all a woman at the optical center helped me immensely in picking out two frames. I appreciated her "I hate to say, but those make you look old" criteria. We ended up finding some kicky frames. Turn around was like 5 days. Second, I dropped my Costco credit card and started to panic when I got to the checkout and realized. Luckily, I looked at my phone and there was a missed call/message from Costco telling me someone turned it in. Amazing! To sum up, the people who work here are so nice. read more

We love Costco! Great prices and value on most things, but beware that not EVERYTHING is lowest cost here. For strawberries here today, we found much lower prices at Hy-Vee. Blueberries were also lower cost at both Sam's and Hy-Vee. We shopped on very busy Saturday Christmas Eve Eve (per an old Friends episode, it's 2 days before Christmas). To our surprise, we were able to get what we needed within 15 minutes. They had many employees staffed and the store was operating so efficiently. When we compare Costco vs Sam's, they are so similar to each other, so if we're getting large quantities of things, I use both of their apps to compare prices before buying. At Costco, I prefer the prepared foods and their milk jugs more than Sam's. But I like Sam's baked goods and rotisserie chicken more than Costco. Like all warehouse bulk places, prices are usually lower but selection is hit or miss. I hate buying gas at this Costco because the lines are always too long for me and I hate waiting. I wish they would advertise their gas prices when you enter, so it's not a surprise after you've already waited in a long line. read more

Today (Friday, Nov 28) , the Cashier at checkout was smiling and making conversation with every white person in line, and when it came to colored folks, she would aggressively throw their items into the cart, avoid eye contact, and grunt at the customers. Her name read "Tawny T," and I was very disappointed by this customer service. I wasn't the only one who recognized this behavior, and I am truly still in shock by this racism. read more

As far as Costcos go, this is my favorite location. The parking is fairly unproblematic and the layout seems to work with the building. The only annoying thing is that it's a pain in the butt to get out of the lot. I think there really ought to be a 4-way stop... read more

This is a decent location. Maplewood remains my favorite. The one thing I do not like about this location is the area near the gas station. There should be a four-way stop sign there. It's nearly impossible to get into and out of the area without a long wait, due to incoming/outgoing traffic that doesn't have to stop. You have to risk it all to just rush out when there's a space. The beverage selection is also less than stellar here. If you're looking for Key Lime La Croix, get over to the Business Center in Minneapolis. Eagan doesn't seem to carry the regular Lime much anymore (friend likes it - I don't), so it's difficult to know if it'll be there when you show up. The staff are friendly enough. read more

I have been shopping at Costco for many years and spending a lot of money at their stores. Today I went to the Eagan store which is not the usual Costco for me. When entering the store, I was told to scan my card, which I did. After scanning, the employee told me that was not allowed to enter without a photo as I was walking in. He then came at me with open arms spread as to physically restrain me from entering the store. For what ever benefit I have found in the past many years of being a loyal Costco customer has all gone today. No longer a customer. After reviewing the Costco policy on this, I found that the employee should have asked for a photo ID rather than drive a long standing Member away. read more

I came here for the strawberry sundae. My first time. Clean and huge parking. Relatively easy access to highways. This Sundae was great. I walked inside and I found the place clean looks like brand new.. It was a Saturday early afternoon and the place was not extremely busy. Maybe it was too hot and the weather was about to storm. This Costco is on my way home from work and luck has it, my gas tank is on Empty. I like that I can exit off 494 and Dodd. Then hang a right on Blue Gentian. When I leave I cross 55 straight on Lexington to 35E South. This Costco has a unique landscape. There is a exit ramp type of bridge to gas pumps. One could hang out in the parking lot and observe airplanes taking off and landing. I did Google Eagan Costco and it was undertaking to build this over wetlands. That explains the enormous retaining wall. The parking lot is configured nicely. The store is never crowded on a weekday afternoon. They seem to never be out of stuff either. The layout is similar to Burnsville store. Staff are friendly. This may be my next go to Costco store for the after work convenience. read more

Not my usual Costco but went to grab a few things. While my sister and I went to do self checkout, we were approached by a woman named Barb who told us to not forget our Kitty litter that was on the bottom of the cart, I told her we would not forget and we were not even at the point of scanning. We proceeded to continue to checkout that's when Barb approached us again to remind us about the litter, mind you we have all this other stuff we are still scanning, we told her once again we know and proceeded to continue scanning. We then overheard someone tell her to go on break and she then proceeds to let them know we need to not forget that we had the litter in the bottom of the cart and that's when we turn to her and let her know we are now scanning the litter and how uncomfortable she was making us. Barb let us know that she didn't want us to feel that way and just offering help but at no point did she offer us help (we later were told by management that she should've offered to scan it so we don't have to pick up the heavy litter) , that's when a black woman came up to us and told us that she did the same thing to her and she complained about Barb as well. I talked to a manager before I left and I will not be returning to this Costco. It's sad that in 2023 that being black makes you automatically guilty. read more

This is probably my preferred Costco in the Twin Cities. Parking lot is not bad to work with and the store is never overly crowded or too crazy. It's worth driving the extra distance from my house to enjoy a bit more relaxed shopping environment. read more

Seems like a junior Costco? The same clean and quality experience and awesome employees. But a noticeably smaller store with fewer products than the Maplewood location. I was a bit annoyed they didn't have Namaste gluten-free flour. I picked it up at Maplewood. read more

I love the new ones that pop up. I went about 6. Lots of staff and one even grabbed my cart from me at my car. At the check out you don't touch anything. But I did have to snatch myself a box to carry it all in. I didn't even need toilet paper, but I did need ground beef. It expires in 2 days but that's okay. I package it in 6 separate plastic zip lock bags, since I've been cooking up a storm since stay at home. I found some brioche buns for the sloppy Joe's tonight. I'll freeze the rest. I always count on some kind of impulse shopping. I picked up some red pasta sauces to try out. I got the chicken broth staple. I never had their butter before and I got a 64 oz. carton of heavy cream that I'm sure I'll find something to do with. Same with the frozen peas. I'm trying the hair, skin, and nails gummies. I couldn't resist a smoked whitefish salad. God knows what's inside of there. The best was the 16 oz. variety pack of Jonny Pops in my favorite flavors, chocolate fudge and strawberry. The napkins were featured. A huge amount I split with my son. They had a good by on hangers. This is me restraining myself. I love the location and it's a straight shot up Lexington to get to the other side of Eagan where I went to Raising Canes. read more

Buying glasses here was a fun experience! Everyone was helpful and nice. Gave back feedback for different types of glasses I tried on. Great deals for buying glasses. They actually measured my face so my glasses would properly fit my face. It started becoming busy at the check out and the customers were patient. And the cashier's were fast and efficient. Food was great per usually. Finally got my own membership card because of this experience. The wait was long and the guy at the checkout was sorta rude about me not knowing there was one line. But he apologized after the fact and the lady at the one ringing me up was also helpful and fast. Loved this Costco! Will be coming back very soon! read more

The pharmacy stole my prescription for my medication tonight & I couldn't get my medication tonight & now I'm going to be sicker. On 7/13 called at 6 to ask how much my medication would cost there with my insurance. The guy said he won't know until he transferred it & to call my insurance to have them guide me who's best. My insurance is closed & they don't know every pharmacy's prices. I told him to transfer it. I called him back in exactly 20 minutes. He said he was looking at the price & put me on hold. He hung up & I called back 5 times, and the pharmacy would not answer. They close at 7 & I need my medication tonight. I found out they were on break because they didn't answer after the administrative staff tried to transfer me. I asked the administrative staff to walk over to the pharmacy because they were closing & had my prescription. On 7/13 at 6:40pm. The lady did, but said I came off rude. You would be upset too if the pharmacy was keeping your medication & making you sicker keeping you from getting it. You can't go on break when you're about to close, stealing someone's prescription. Because another pharmacy doesn't have access. I didn't get my medication tonight. I'm getting sicker because of it. Because the pharmacy never answered their phone to tell me how much it was right before they were closing. It ended up being cheaper at Sams club, but they couldn't get the prescription transferred back because Costco pharmacy wouldn't answer their phone. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the administrative staff was arguing with me that staff are entitled to their break. I understand that, but you don't take a break when you are closing and have someone's prescription. If the staff can't take a break earlier in the day than they need to hire more staff. It's NOT okay to keep someone's prescription from them & make them sicker. I could sue big time if I got really sick because they kept me from getting my medication tonight, but not giving me access to my prescription & closing. read more

Always have had excellent service at Eagan, MN tire center. They replaced a tire sensor for me for $65 in Dec 2021. Toyota dealer said cost for that: $250. Local tire store: $250. It's easy to see why customers prefer Costco service for everything, but for me especially the tire center. Love the Costco products too! read more
