When we moved back to Minnesota, we were very sad to not have Grocery Outlet anymore. But then, we found Mike's. Mike's is amazing. I'd argue it's even better than Grocery Outlet, and miles above any average grocery store in the cities. The primary draw to Mike's is the pricing -- things are very cheap compared to other grocers. This is possible because they don't have a broad selection and stock items that are close to expiration or being discontinued. It's not uncommon to find things that didn't sell at other stores here. The downside is that they rarely have consistent stock. However, if you have an open mind, you won't be disappointed.
