This is a newer Marshall's across from Ridgedale Mall. If you are looking for a great clothes, accessories, SHOES, and home goods this is the place to go!! You can find upscale brands here....Seriously who does not love a bargain? The store is bright and clean. The different departments are laid out well. It's not junkie like some stores get! The employees are helpful and friendly. I'm so glad I have a Marshall's that is close to me!

This is a far cry from a typical dressing room with one or two sad hooks, this whole rack plus three hooks!

This Marshalls has a lot of selection of everything and is very spacious. They have lots of sports teams themed items and great prices.

I've yet to buy any grown up items of clothes here, but I religiously come here for new leggings, pantyhose and a random free people skirt.

If you are a Nordstrom fan in Canada, they are still alive and kicking stateside to satisfy your shopping needs. I recently visited this Nordstrom at Ridgedale Mall. It wasn't that I was dying to shop there. It was the closest mall entrance to get to Urban Outfitters, which was the store that I wanted. I got a prime parking spot in front of this store. There was a woman with a couple of folks chatting in front of her car that was next to mine. I carefully backed into this spot without mowing them over and headed inside this store. I like how Nordstrom is designed. I've only been to now three Nordstrom locations in my life (San Francisco, Ottawa, and Minnetonka). I like how it has places to sit no matter where you are. I appreciate that detail, especially if you have been on your feet shopping for hours and you need to take a load off them. I needed the escalator to hit the second floor. Cutting through this store was enjoyable. I casually looked at the footwear. I am such a casual sneaker fan that I took some time admiring the Converse and Veja sneakers. I also briefly looked at the women's clothing section. Spring colours featuring pinks and yellow were everywhere. They were cheerful and perked me up. I spent a good chunk of time at Urban Outfitters and got what I needed. I then re-entered Nordstrom on the second floor, went downstairs, and browsed the handbags before leaving. This store had Coach handbags. It was my first time touching one. It's not really my style and the price of the one that I had touched was insane. What kind of ruined my experience was the salesperson in the handbag section. We spoke. She looked at the two handbags that I had. One was my usual Kipling purse. The other was a puffy purple purse (I dare you to say that fast) that I had just purchased at Urban Outfitters. Do you think that I needed a third purse? I'd say no, but she thought otherwise. She was now finding small to medium purses for me. I didn't ask for that. Our chat was pleasant, but I was browsing, and didn't need or want any help. I politely declined her help, wished her a nice evening, and left. Maybe I should come back to the handbag section with a single purse next time. I might not forge such a strong bond with staff members in the handbag section. It's a nice store. Immediately when I walked into this Nordstrom, on the left, on the first floor, are elevators and washrooms. I like how this store is designed to make things easy for customers and staffers alike. Going into the store I was met with a negative atmosphere and bad overall energy. As I was looking around it has some questions about sizing, it was very difficult finding a worker to answer some of my questions especially since nobody came to check that I was finding everything okay. When I finally managed to find a worker, I was trying to ask my question and she kept giving glances over to her coworker and laughing. I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously. After I finally asked my question receiving a very short and snarky answer, I went back to shopping. Minutes later I set my drink down right next to me while my hands were fold clothes. I was planning on picking up my drink after finding the correct sizing. I didn't think this would be a big deal, as the drink was right on the table next to me. Right as I am sorting through the shirts I hear this loud obnoxious voice taking up the entire store. I look up to meet eyes with this rude brown curly haired girl. Everyone looks at me as she says "is this your drink?", at this point I'm very confused because the drink is a couple feet away from me, so obviously it is mine. But still for clarification I say "which drink?" she looks over to her co-worker and mouths something then starts laughing. The entire store is watching this unfold as she's speaking loudly she says "the Chipotle one" well laughing and pointing. The cup was mine but it was right next to me. I said "Oh yes that is mine can I pick it up in a second after I'm done looking at these shirts? She looks at me like I'm crazy and says "no!" well laughing "pick it up now or leave the store". I was not at all trying to be difficult so I say yes of course I'm so sorry and before I can finish she looks me up and down and walks away. The entire store is looking at me and I decided to leave without anything. Will not be going back and very disappointing! Hopefully that brown haired rude girl gets what she deserves soon!

It's not bad and I kind of like it but it's also expensive and it's sometimes a little awkward when you're the only one in the store and they're asking if you want to buy something and you know that you're not going to be buying anything. I bumped them from 3 to 4 because I asked Bae and she said she adores this store from when we went in here.

The mall is Ridgedale. It's a good location if you want some privacy and plenty of stock because they don't have a massive amount of customers. Neither does the whole mall. It's definitely kind of a boutique on the higher end of the expense and class scale, with kind of expensive stuff that's like Bohemian and Artisan clothing - so definitely nothing that Barbie would be interested in, but we still respect the shop, and the people working here really friendly.

Claustrophobic, overstuffed little store that gives me anxiety. They have some cute things for teens that aren't too outrageously priced. My 16-yr old daughter found a dress she tried on and liked. Once she got home and tried it on again in a space where she could move around, she decided she didn't like the way it fit. When she returned it a few days later, they handed her a receipt and told her the money would be back in her account in 7-10 business days. After 3 weeks, the money still wasn't in her account, so we drove back to the store. 3 girls were working in the store-one was playing with accessories on a mannequin, one was just standing by the registers watching her, ignoring customers and the third girl was helping the long line of customers. When we finally got to the cashier, we explained the situation. She looked like a deer in the headlights, turned to the 2 girls standing around and whined "helpy!" Another girl came over, heard our situation, stared at us blankly for a while, then said "oh, but your receipt says it was an even exchange. We can't do anything." And walked away. I can assure you my daughter returned a dress and was given nothing in exchange. She and my husband didn't look closely at the return receipt because they were VERBALLY ASSURED the money would be returned to her account within days. I understand mistakes happen, but it's frustrating. Because one cashier didn't understand the difference between "return" and "exchange" in the computer, my daughter is out $40 of her own hard-earned money and there's nothing we can do.
